High Flow Mufflers

Motorcycle Exhaust? Yeah… I said it… High flow mufflers took on the challenge and hooked me up with a custom over under shot gun set of pipes. Custom built one pipe at a time. I looked everywhere and called so many places and no one wanted to take on the challenge of custom pipes and I didn’t want to buy factory. So I found High Flow. Brought in my bike to Pepe and he said he’d take care of me. And HE DID. He’s a perfectionist. The shop is super busy and they rarely take on this type (motorcycle) of custom work because it a car muffler shop, but when they do it’s incredible. If you take your bike to see Pepe don’t expect an overnight turn around job. He’s proud of his work and it will take him time but it will be worth every bit of it. And the end result looks fantastic and sounds even better. Pepe is always ready to take your call and keep you updated on the progress. Amazing customer service and all around good experience. I truly hope the motorcycle community finds High Flow Mufflers for that custom set. Thanks Pepe for taking this on and making my ride that much better.

Straight forward and easy. Dropped my Jeep off to have some work done. Everyone there was super nice and helpful. I went in for and estimate thinking I would have to drop it off during the week since its mid afternoon on a Saturday… 1 ½ hours later its done. Thanks!!!

Pepe and his crew installed two Flowmaster 40 series on my 2012 Camaro SS and they did a fantastic job! I really appreciated the detail to attention making sure that the exhaust lines up perfectly and is even on both sides. They work fast and efficiently so you won’t be waiting long. I was in and out in 1 hour. Also his price can’t be beat. If you’re looking for a muffler shop or need exhaust work done, look no further than High Flow Mufflers. I’ll definitely be going back to finish up my exhaust system.

(Sorry for the long review in advance but I’m that satisfied!) As good as it gets! Pepe really went out of his way to do my headers up right! I knew this job would be a pain from the get go but he made it as smooth as possible for me. I initially went in for a quote and was quoted a price for install without any modifications (I knew there’d be modifications as car is a classic (72 olds cutlass) because murphy’s law always comes into affect when dealing with these old cars. I am a member of the olds forum and pre read that my dipstick would probably break, starter would need removed, lines might need bent, etc. So Pepe sets the headers as discussed, calls me up and has me come down to see what is going on with the install and to let me know it would be a little more. (He was very honest and forthcoming.) The dipstick needed fixed, and of course the oil pan had to be dropped to get that done, oil filter needed gasket, etc. I work nights and really don’t have time to run and grab parts, etc. So at this point I’m stressed out. I asked about the oil pan gasket while I was there and if I needed to get it for him. His words– «Don’t worry friend, I sent my guy to get the gasket, I’ll fix the dipstick, I can change the oil for you since the pan needed drained anyways, go home, go to sleep, Your car is safe here, we’ll lock it up and take good car of it and I will take care of everything for you, I just wanted to let you know it was going to cost a little more with all of the work and didn’t want to surprise you. I’ll call you when it’s done! He calls the next day, car is done, I loved the work he did, he fixed all the issues, including some hack job that was done by another shop a year or so ago. and a few hundred bucks more than the initial quote was more than fair for the quality of work and extra effort it took to do the job. I really felt bad for him but he just put my worries at ease with a smile on his face the whole time and went above and beyond with all of the other issues I needed to address while we had her on the lift (mind you it was on the lift for a few days so I’m sure it held up quick muffler, etc. jobs that came in and out of the shop, but he is a man of his word and got me taken care of. I went to pick the car up, tried to hand him cash, he wouldn’t take it until I drove the car and was happy with the work! I pull out of the shop and step on the gas and my god my motor must have been asleep these past few years because it was awesome, the sound was perfect, the torque from the H pipe he did for me was great, I was very satisfied. He told me to come by in a week or so and he’d retorque the manifold bolts as they do loosen with the hot/​cold, hot/​cold on the metal surfaces. While the car was on the lift I knew I needed some bushings and asked him if he knew anyone. He called his guy over from the next garage, told him to give me a good price for being a good customer, the guy comes over gives me a great quote on the bushings, car went from his shop to the next bay over for the bushings. One stop shop for all your needs with great pricing, honest, high quality work, I saw all of the 5 stars on Unilocal and maybe mine doesn’t make a difference but in truth this guy is 5 stars plus! I couldn’t be happier and felt he really went out of his way to take care of me. I couldn’t recommend these guys more. Take your car there for good work, care and honesty, The work isn’t dirt cheap, but extremely cheap for the quality of work he does and cheaper than the hack job place I took it to before truly a gem of a shop in Downtown Long Beach!

My muffler somehow hit something while I was driving on the freeway, it became loose. I took my car right after work on Saturday which is great they’re open. The muffler seemed to be correctly placed, it didn’t take them long either. The vibe is friendly, the dad and son kick ass today. Thank you.

Pepe is the best! I had a problem with my Greddy exhaust when it started making tick sounds from the metal inside. Unfortunately my greddy muffler was cut but that was at my discretion. Pepe gave me a choice whether to straight pipe it or add a resonator. He allowed me to try both and I liked the 2^nd choice better. Now, I was on a tight budget and probably couldn’t even afford the price. Pepe however did give me a great price for an amazing job welding the new resonator to my cat back exhaust. it sounds clean. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of muffler repairs.

Yeah, so I never got around to take my corolla, but who cares. Just bought my brand new 2008 CHevrolet Suburban, and again, Jose luis hooked it up like a champ. My truck sounds so much more aggressive. I love it! Keep up the good work! I refer all my customers to his shop, he is a straight up guy!

Pepe and his crew are top notch. They installed a Magnaflow and tip on my brand new 2014 GMC Sierra that makes it sound sick! Quality work done quickly at about 60% of what I was getting quoted by other shops! Look now further…

I bought a new car end of last year. Finally gave in to the mod bug and began modding it beginning of this year, on my way to stage 3, I needed to have some exhaust components installed.
Given my very limited time and lack of access to a lift (and not wanting to do it all on jack stands in the garage), I called a couple of shops in my area. I was given varying prices and was told by one shop that I would need to bring my parts in for him to look at so he could tell me if he even wanted to do it.
Then I called Hi-​Flow Mufflers. I talked to Pepe and he was completely up front with me. I told him exactly what I wanted, he gave me a flat rate, also the most competitive rate I had been quoted, and told me to bring it in that day. I dropped my car off and he called me when it was done. He even stored the stock exhaust system for me until I could bring my truck to pick it up. Super friendly and up front, they did a great job and I could recommend this place to ANYBODY looking to have exhaust work done.

Brought my 2008 Mustang GT to get a set of Borla axle-​back exhaust installed. Pepe and his son took the time and professionally installed it. What impressed me was that they took the time to line up the exhaust tips and make them even.
They have earned my future business!

Okay… this is my first time writing a review… however, this business deserves it …
my dilemma started when someone stoled my Cat Converter off of my 99 Toyota truck
I started searching for a muffler shop here on Unilocal… while a lot of the shops appear to be qualified… this shop caught my eye. Even though it was a little out of my way geographically.
I read the reviews for this shop and a lot of people raved about Pepe and how affordable the repairs are here… so i decided to place a call.
I called and spoke to Pepe… he seemed to be very knowledgeable, truly sincere and nice and on the phone and had a spot for me the next day.
When the next day came along… i had the tow truck driver deliver the vehicle… and Pepe came out and greeted us… In which he was truly nice and welcoming… he looked under the truck and offered me two types of mufflers. cheaper né and a preminum brand… in which i choose one the more expensive… it took him a few hours to change the muffler so rather than hang around… i took the metro-​rail back home (btw …it runs down LB blvd)
when i went back to shop a few hours… my problem was solved and my truck was repaired for 300. (i felt like that was a good price for a Magnaflow muffler — the higher end one i choose)
I would like to recommend this shop… i am definitely going to be a repeat customer

In short, I had a stuck and stripped O2 sensor on my OEM headers (exhaust manifold). I went to these guys and they were happy to help me, while other shops turned me away.
I had my OEM headers out of the car and I was simply able to drop it off and picked it up after a few hours. I couldn’t have asked for more.

These guys rock! Super professional, very nice, and they are efficient and fair.
Although I thought it was my muffler they allowed me to touch the pipe that had a hole in it so I could see for myself what the problem was. He presented me a couple options, both of which were about $ 150 cheaper than my trusted mechanic. (Maybe not so trusted any more).
I actually called them to get a quote (based off Unilocal reviews). He told me to show up in 90 min. I did and I waited about 10 min to get them working on my car. They finished it up within 30 min.
I was very happy with them, with the amount of time it took, with the price, and with the job they did on my car. I absolutely recommended these guys and a shout out to the dad– no, my car doesn’t make any noise any more!!!
