I love this place! I am a regular here and I have never been disappointed. The food is reasonable and DELICIOUS. I always order in a combo for $ 5.50 which comes with either fried rice or chow mein. Also they have one small size for $ 2.50. You can have half and half.(Half rice and Half other item) Their orange chicken and spicy chicken are my favorite. They have about fourteen food variety to choose. How do you beat that?

it’s located in the Wrigley shopping center and can sometimes be easily missed with all the juice joints and fast-food places around. but it’s definately worth looking around for. — I usually get the spicy chicken or the kung pao chicken. the portions are really good. their chow mein and rice is always fresh. and their entrees don’t taste like they’ve been sitting on for hours.

As much as I love the wide array of independent burger joints in the LA area, I’m also a big fan of all the independent donut shops alongside the sides of the roads. No Dunkin’ Donuts for me, no sir! All I need is a sign that says fresh baked — or baked daily — and you’ve got my business. Hong Kong Express & Donuts is an example of a curious relative of the independent donut shop: the independent Chinese fast food and donut shop. They’ve done the math. Based on daypart, a donut shop might not make a go of it. A Chinese fast food operation might fail. But an eatery that combines the best of both worlds might be a bankable opportunity! I cannot attest to the quality of the Chinese fast food at this location — they have steam trays, and they have fried rice, so I know it’s there. But I can attest to the donuts. Fine and dandy. My son and I got four donuts of various types — frosted cake, frosted raised, glazed raised, and sugared — and ate them with a bottle of OJ and a styrofoam cup of coffee. Cheap eats just off the street. I wouldn’t go back in a hurry, but I wouldn’t avoid it in a pinch.
