Jackson Jade Speech and Occupational Therapy

A therapy locale where parents are expected to wait in the lobby. First huge red flag right there. Parents should participate and be involved in every single therapy session! How would we know what to practice and how to help at home?
I also felt like feeding therapy was the exact same thing week after week after week. Ok already, we learned how to do that, let’s do something new. Also the speech therapist must have a hearing problem because she talks super loudly, to the point of being kinda painful.

I called and called to get my son in for an eval, I could never get them to call me back. (I should have seen this as a sign) So, I go in to follow up and see the receptionist pull my crumpled up information from the back of her desk! I go ahead and get him set up and give my insurance information. She says «Great, you insurance is covering therapy 100%» I proceed to take my son two days a week for Speech and OT. I must admit the therapist are amazing and I did see progress. After one year of services the receptionist drops an envelope in my lap… IT WAS A BILL FOR $ 105,249.76! YES, $ 105,249.76! To say it was a nightmare to get this resolved is an understatement. After three month of trying to get this resolved, «upper management» never reached out. Never took responsibility in allowing my son to receive services twice a week for a year and never mentioned my insurance was not being billed. I ended up taking a loan out to pay the remaining $ 1,500.00 that they wouldn’t work with me on.
I strongly recommend extreme caution in dealing with this facility. It was an experience I would not wish on my worst enemy, not to mention someone who is already in a tough place trying to help their child.

This place claims to be all about helping kids but be warned that they charge an INSANE amount of money. My son had a 30 minute evaluation that consisted of some flashcards and passing a ball back and forth. They charged us over $ 1100 dollars! Even with insurance it would cost about $ 200 – 300 per ½ hour session that they wanted to occur 2 – 3 times a week.

hi my son start there with 2 years and he go 5 time por week, I din, t see progress in 9 moths there, when I said to Nina they don, t look profesional, people was late all the time, they sometime dont report progress, fatima his theraphy told me he has sings of apraxia, and she told me how I have to educate to my son, she doesn, t understood he has problems because he has no vocabulary to said what he feel so they cry and get mad easy, after evaluations with profesional people specialist with child with apraxia he start to receive teraphy in little voice they, re really good and also he start the buffum school for special education, they really good so he leaned to much he get vocabulary he speak spanish and english he still receive help but finally the profesional people told me my son doesn, t have apraxia, so becareful with the jackson so many people studens they stay for almost a most and they disapears, I though they see how that company work and no future there… they don, t have idea they told me my son need ocupational theraphy before they did the evaluation and finally one of then in secrect told me my son doesn, t need to receive ocupational therapy… sorry for my english and a I really recomend go to little voice they re really good…
