James Baylie Designs is a landscape design company that can design and produce plans and make recommendations for installation of all types of outdoor projects.
I had James Baylie Designs work on a unique property that I own. The property is two houses on one small lot. The owner, Jim, is very professional, never pushy and has a great sense of design. In our initial consultation, I felt like he listened to my desires and helped me focus what I was trying to accomplish with the outdoor space and he paid attention to my budget. He took measurements and returned plans that were far beyond my expectations. He created a bi-​level design that took into account the 1920’s Spanish styling of my house.
In the end, I went with his design as it was drawn. He was also able to connect with a few companies to do the installation and because his plans were so complete, I was able to shop a few contractors and get apples to apples bids. It was my first time ever hiring a landscape designer and it was a great experience.
