Very good food! Pork BBQ is very good so as the lumpiang shanghai and the free custard desert. The only thing I don’t like is theres no AC and for a hot summer like this its not helping! But since the food is good I thing the place deserved a a 5 star rating! I will comeback if I am in the area!

Just came back to find out they’ve CLOSEDDOWN!!! I’m so upset. Their food was seriously legit! I hope they re-open in a new location and update the customers. So sad.

I always get: skewers(chicken, beef, or pork — you can’t go wrong) You know when you’re at the fair and you want teriyaki skewers and you can see them on the BBQ, smelling juicy and delicious? Then you buy one and it just doesn’t live up to your expectations? The skewers here remind me exactly what my expectations were. They have a slight char taste like you’d expect to get from fair food but the flavor I can’t describe as anything less than perfection. It’s what I always hope a skewer tastes like. By far the best skewers I’ve ever had.(I’ve had other items too and they are good but I really can’t get enough of the skewers.) Get ready for your new addiction.

Check your blood pressure before you come here! Kuya Nick H. raved about this place so much in years past. We were in the LBC and decided to take on his recommendation. If you’ve been to Tony’s Bbq and Bibingkinitan in Carson, the menu here is very similar composed of primarily Filipino grilled dishes and fried items. The dishes here are entrees that come with Java rice and steamed veggies. We ordered grilled chicken, grilled fish(bangus), grilled pork belly, and frilled pork bbq skewers which were all pretty good. The grilled chicken had a nice char and tasty, The pork bbq skewers was good too and not as fatty as I expected. The grilled pork belly was as expected with a mix of fat and meat and the grilled bangus was well marinated and tasty. Bangus is similar to a mackerel and the native fish in the Philippines. These entrees were anywhere from $ 7.65 to under $ 9 or so. Jojo also caters and you can but items by the pound a la carte. We ordered lechon which is fried pork belly. grilled pork belly, and lumpia(pork eggrolls). Lechon as nice and crispy. Some pieces of fat with crispy skin and came with a lechon sauce which is traditionally a sweet liver sauce. The eggrolls were on point. Fresh from the fryer and nice and crispy with a sweet and sour sauce. This fast food restaurant is also know for bibingka which is a rice cake native to the Philippines made of rice flour. This cake is a sweet savory cake that’s lightly sweet almost like a thick pancake with salted egg and bits of cream cheese. Jojo’s version is good but I’ve had better. They also have ube and macapuno filled bibingka that’s special order. The restaurant is quite small but does have a number of tables. The only thing I didn’t like was that there’s no air conditioning and with the grill going, it gets quite warm inside especially on a hot day. Jojo is a nice and friendly man as most Jojo(s) are. Most dishes here are made to order so it does take a while.

5 stars just for the bibingka! I did have some other food but that was just OK. The bibingka on the other hand were the best I’ve had in the US! I tried the coconut and ube flavors as well but I still prefer the classic. It was so good!!! And it’s made to order so call ahead. Better yet call the day before so you don’t get sold out. It’s lighter than what you’d get in the Philippines. I was told it’s because they make it a little differently. But I think I actually prefer it this way. The taste on the other hand is right on point. I definitely will make it a point to come back for these whenever I’m in LA/Long Beach.

Was craving some BBQ and decided to try this place, pass by it all the time. Went in staff was friendly, and ordering was easy since they have everything on a sign with pictures, ordered pork bbq, great price, had to wait for it coz they cook it right there on the spot, didnt mind the wait coz it was so delicious, juicy and lots of meat and the sauce was so so so good definitely going back and maybe try the grilled liempo !!! And if you don’t want to wait you can even call ahead …

Came in here with my colleagues for some grilled Filipino food. The service was friendly and the food was good. Though the space is small, tight and lacking any decoration the food was well worth the wait(approximately 15 – 20 minutes). I had the tuna colar which was a special of the day. It was nicely flavoured and cook beautifully. It came moist perhaps because of the bones on the collar. The tuna belly of my colleague was also good or even better than my tuna collar. My other colleague had the bangus belly which looked just as enticing and boneless too. While waiting for the food, we had a chat with the owner Jojo who seemed very nice and friendly. He answered a few of our questions especially about catering and kamayan(eating with hands). He said they can always do it anytime aside from what was adverstised. He also adviced us to call ahead so your order will be ready upon arrival. Ohh do check out their freshly baked bibingka. I heard it is delicious too unfortunately, I did not have stomach space for some of it. Perhaps next time. Overall, good food good service for a good price. I will definitely come back.

Only complaint is about $ 2 – 3 more expensive per person than i’d like to pay. Considering the length of time it takes to cook the food, I’d be happier with a little cheaper costs. All I’ve had on my two visits is the BYO egg/sausage/garlic Filipino rice plate. It comes with something soupy but me, nor my wife, the soupy thing. Cant remember the correct name. The sausage is amazing, eggs are fine, and the rice is so freaking good! I drown it in vinegar as well! The fish belly we get extra is awesome as well and the pork is perfectly grilled and fried.

Wow! Just wow! Decided to try something new and stumbled across this pearl! The owner(or I assume he’s the owner) greeted me and my employee and asked if it was our first time there. We answered yes and asked for recommendations. Oh man does this place have a variety of mouth watering dishes! Decided to order the Big Jo’s Combo which was BBQd Pork and BBQ Chicken. Wow! Marinated and grilled perfectly! Just enough char to know it was BBQd but not dry whatsoever! Even the rice, which is yellow, was amazing! It was sweet and a great pair for the BBQ! Then came the peanut dipping sauce! Man oh man what a great addition! I definitely look forward to going again and trying some other dishes! Maybe the bbq squid mmm!

Small business but big heart. I had to wait for my grilled pork and chicken adobo for 30 minutes. Plus, I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for the crispy pata. I liked the food. The service of the staff was friendly. I will be back when I crave topsilogs. They know how to make great bibingkas too. Price is moderate. Fried ice cream ftw.

It’s a fast food type of joint you order at the counter and pick up your food at the counter as well Just know you’re gonna smell like BBQ When you leave haha cos everything is made to order with that in mind I suggest calling ahead Especially if you want the bibinka it sells out quick … So my mama and I learned our lesson CALL in advance ! I have to tell you. As much as I’m a foodie I really don’t care for BBQ. So when I say I enjoyed ALLOFIT know it’s good ! They are doing something yummmmmmmy! BBQ chicken PERFECTION. How do you know?. You ask. Well my friend if you can easily slide off a piece of meat from the BBQ stick it’s gonna be a juicy tender bite guaranteed ! Served with a side of achara(pickled veggies try it don’t be scuuuuurred), fried rice which is kinda Guamanian style but they add some meat and garlic to it not just achuete(ground annatto seed), steamed veggies, a side of broth. Sinigang(sour tamarind base soup which needed to be hot! Cos it was lukewarm) and BBQ sauce for dippin $ 7 – 8 I forget hehe My mom ordered the bangus filet(milk fish) which HANDSDOWNISTHEBEST of the best. I’ve had grilled bangus at salo salo grill and it’s horrible. They have the best super juicy cooked to perfection gotta try. Bangus is one of my fave fishes to eat ! Basically comes with the same sides except for dipping they give Filipino soy sauce which is bolder than Japanese soy sauce and you squeeze fresh calamansi in it slurp! Now the bibinka is bomb ! Not too sweet and the salty Filipino cheese they use in it is delish! Perfection match of sweet and salty! When we have arrived the bibinka was already sold out. So when the batch was finally ready I dived in while it was still piping hot ! Pulled that bad boy apart and it was so moist ! I wanted to record the footage to watch over and over while I drool lmao. Took some home and when I popped it in the microwave it was just like it had came out of the oven! My mom was the one that knew about the place haha I wondered how since she doesn’t utilize Unilocal let alone the internet lmao she said she her brother told her about the place. Fascinating I couldn’t imagine life without Unilocal

Good location on the left side of Willow heading West. It’s fairly simple to find and is next to Metro PCS. There’s a nice tone in the restaurant and the staff is very friendly. The prices are affordable and the quality is astounding. I definitely experienced nostalgia as my first bite of the chicken took me back to childhood. The rice was neatly plated and very light while maintaining a nice flavor. The veggies and ginger were nice additions. Yes, the food takes a while to took. Is it delicious? Yes! Can I maintain my patience for something wonderful that takes time to prepare? Absolutely! $ 7 for an amazing lunch? Ummm… Yes!

Fellow Unilocaler Steph H and I were chatting when she mentioned this place, saying she’s had it bookmarked for a while. We discuss meeting up for dinner and this was the spot. SERVICE: The guy behind the counter(the owner?) was friendly and helpful with info about items on their menu. Otherwise, its order and pay at the counter, pick it up at the counter when ready. FOOD: We look over the menu(which seemed fairly limited, but maybe it was just me) they offer«Bowls» and«Plates». We asked about a few different items and decide. Our first 2 choices were sold out, so we look at the menu again. Steph went for the Tuna Collar plate and said it was very tasty. I decided on the Grilled Liempo(Pork belly) plate which comes with rice & soup($ 6.59). The pork belly was grilled to perfection and was very tasty! The rice was a nice accompaniment and the soup was nothing special, kind of like a thick, very orange egg flower soup, but with less flavor. After reading other review which raved about the Bibingka, I figured I had try them. About half way through our meal I ordered one for each of us($ 1.60 ea). I wanted to order one of the flavors listed, Ube and(I forgot), but was told those are«special order» only. Bummer. About 12 minutes later, they were fresh out of the oven. After letting them cool a few minutes, we dug in. They were beautifully golden brown and soft like a sponge cake. I will say the flavor was light(coconut?) and delicate, but too«egg-y» for me. Sorry to say I’m not a fan. The Inside. OVERALL: Solid Filipino food, good place to hang out if you are Filipino. But I’m not Filipino and I only know a few words in Tagalog. It IS A-OK, 3.5 stars, but I’m sorry to say it’s not enough to bring ME back. Sa Muling Pagkikita.

Came here upon the rave review by Nick H. Well, I drove by before and noticed it, but didn’t stop because it seemed like a rinky dink operation. Shame on me for not stopping until now. Had a bibingka(macapuno) while waiting for my chicken skewer meal and was hooked. Despite its unassuming storefront, the inside is nice. So too is the staff. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. They also have platters, for future reference. The chicken skewer meal was well seasoned and presented, complete with a perfectly round banana leaf doiley underneath and peanut sauce for dipping. I quickly and happily devoured. If you are ever in the area and have a craving for fresh(not heavy) filipino food, this is a must stop. I certainly will.

Bibinka Baby! The Thrilla of Manila #2! 4.5 Stars and one of my paboritong ko restaurante-Filipino places. This is not fast Food! Grilled to Order! Formerly known as Tony’s, Jojo’s management style focuses on bringing its customers freshly prepared food choices with healthy options. Yes, Fresh and Healthy at a Filipino place. Grilled Salmon with Steamed Veggies and Soup-4 Stars! *This combo sports a moderate portion of salmon and veggies. The salmon is never dry. It comes with soup and ginger sauce on the side. Free purified water. This is my favorite option for about $ 9. They have a variety of bbq items prepared by Kuya Rolland. Bibinka-5 Stars *Made fresh to order! What is Bibinka? It’s a rice flour ball of sinful calories. Sweet and Salty. What goes in it? Rice flour, salty egg, sugar, milk and ano a ton of butter. They can make any type fresh for you(macapuno, taro and more)! Best bibinka ever! They cater and sell whole lechon!!! *If you are in a hurry, call in advance. Fresh food takes time to grill! Super cool folks running this place. They take credit cards and you can call ahead for take-out. The restaurant is nice, clean and cozy! Love this place. I am a Fan!
