Great catering option for medical device & pharmaceutical representatives!!! Since I order catering on a weekly basis, I thought I’d call KBQ Korean Barbecue to see if they would be able to accommodate my client and their staff. I wasn’t sure if they catered, because it’s not advertised, but they had no problem taking my order. KBQ included everything I needed in my order, to include plates and plasticware for over 30 people. The staff loved the food so much, that I discovered later a few of my nurses found their location to go back for seconds. Great service, great food, and a pleasantly seamless experience! I’ve catered with them a few times now. Thank you KBQ!!!

Unilocal says they close at 8pm tonight, my husband arrives at 7:20pm and is turned away. False advertising is such a pet peeve of mine. Don’t want our business? Fine, we don’t want yours.

I have visit here frequently during the past months and I really like the spicy pork. It reminds me of al pastor. The food is cooked to order which takes about 15 minutes. I only care for meat and the rice. Don’t really care for the salad and kimchi, the macaroni salad is ok.

Do not let the exterior fool you, what a fun little hole in the wall. Generous portions for what you pay. Korean bbq has plates, bowls and yes.tacos. The meats range from spicy pork to chicken and short rib. The gentelman that is here it is his first business and he makes everything from scratch. The terriyake sauce alone takes him 7hrs to make. We ordered the spicy pork plate and the chicken plate. Both come with meat, rice, a little salad, and mac salad. Try it out and you’ll be back. A nice treat so far from home.

Low key joint with modest roots. My kinda place, really. KBQ doesn’t offer anything close to a fancy ambiance nor do they boast an extensive menu. The sides are merely okay but the meat makes up for it by leaps and bounds. Galbi, bulgogi, spicy pork, and chicken. The lady behind the counter was super cute and was more then willing to accommodate my crazy requests(extra this, side of that). I’ve only been once but I will definitely be back for more.

Looking for kbbq on a Friday night. Walking in at 8:40 — 40mins after they close. The owner realized I really needed bulgogi and made two plates for my date and I. So kind!!! And it was bomb too! Great costumer service and good food. Definitely a recommendation to friends and family! Small local business off of the 710 at Artesia Blvd, with authentic food. They’re willing to bend for their costumers and a business like that is always worth your time and calories!

I ordered mixed combo plate of spicy pork and chicken with rice. It was good! The food was delicious and flavorful and the portion is more than I can consume. It also comes with green salad, oranges, macaroni salad and kimchi.

Came back to KBQ hoping the food is still the same as How I remembered the last time and… left this place smiling again! This place is a definition of mom-and-pop/hole-in-a-wall. Small area and small number of staff but the hardworking owner will greet you himself when you come in. I ordered the spicy pork bbq plate this time and it was so delicious that I ended up ordering another one to go! This place tastes better than a lot of Korean Restaurants in LA(believe me when I say this– I grew up in Korea and am living in LA now) and charges a fraction compared to them! Im all about supporting local businesses and Ive got to say, keep up the great work KBQ!!!

I live in ktown LA and I was here for lunch. Their combo plate spicy pork and galbi was really good even compared to ktown restaurants.

Delicious! This place serves hearty, delicious portions. I was up in the area and popped in for lunch. I ordered the galbi plate which provided generous portions(so much so that I had enough for dinner!), a peppery mac salad, and lovely side salad. It came out to $ 13.07 with tax. For those who frequent Korean BBQ joints, $ 13.07 is not bad at all for galbi. Places like Kaju Tofu in Westminster charge you $ 20+ !! They have bowls that cost less, especially if you get the bulgogi, spicy work, or chicken. Definitely coming back! (Fair warning: You’re going to have to call ahead if you’re pressed for time. This is a mom-and-pop shop and they make the meat when they get the order. It means you get a delicious lunch though!)

I was unimpressed by the food, to be honest I didn’t know what to expect from the place. We gave a try and here a few points that I liked. The place is nice a clean, there is limited parking on the side. It’s trying to make Kbbq a fast food. There are limited selections of meats from marinated chicken, bulgogi, chalbi and marinated pork. Customer service is decent. Price is not bad either. I’m not a big fan of marinated meats at Kbbq, that’s why this did not appeal to me very much. I still things it’s worth trying if marinated meats is what you like

If you like kbbq but don’t care for the smokiness frm dinning at kbbq restaurants than this place is for you! It’s hot off the grill. the flavors seems to be on point, authentic. I like the fact that it’s fast, hot and ready. their kimchi-spicy Napa cabbage is also delicious. no Korean meal is complete without the kimchi! Their mini bowls seems to be affordable if you aren’t to hungry or want to try smething new without spending a lot of cash.($ 4.50−4.99) They have mixed plates so you can try all of the meat: galbi(short ribs), bulgogi(sliced rib eye), spicy pork, chicken. If you never tried Korean food you must! Give it a try when you’re passing through on Artesia blvd and Myrtle Ave and/or your tummy is grumbling.

Korean BBQ fast food cooked to order. Takes about 15 mins to cook the ribs from the time you order. I ordered the Galbi Rib Plate which came with white rice, macaroni salad, green salad, and kimchi. I have to say the ribs were full of flavor but not very tender. Macaroni salad was good but the green salad had too much dressing. Kinda pricey for a fast food place.

Korean BBQ done right! Delicious! It’s not AYCE Korean BBQ, more like the fast food variety, but Damn is it so good. I say fast food, but they cook your food to order. You’ll see them grill it for you. You can smell the food cooking for sure. It’s making me hungry just thinking about it. Yum! I knew what I wanted, so when the lady asked me what I wanted, Bulgogi and Spicy Pork combo was my choice. It took about 5 to 10 minutes to cook my food. Like I said, the smell told me I was going to have a good meal. It smells good on that grill. The Bulgogi was very tender and tasted really good. One of the best I’ve tasted. The Spicy Pork was the BOMB. OMG, it’s so good. The BEST I’ve had. Delicious. Not too spicy and a bit sweet and just plain Yummy! Now, why not a 5 star(and it should be) BUT, the sides were a disappointment. The Macaroni Salad was very bland. It needed something, anything. I love mac salad and this was a disappointing one. The salad was just okay. The dressing, a wine vinaigrette of some sort, but it was very week in flavor. They gave a cup of kimchi, hot sauce and Korean BBQ sauce with the meal. All were just okay. The bbq sauce was like a teriyaki sauce(sweet), You don’t need the sauce anyways, the meats were very well marinated and didn’t need any sauce. Service was friendly and courteous. The lady was watching a Korean new show and switch the channel to KDOC(I was the only one there). It would have been better if the TV picked up KDOC, lol. I just got static and frozen images. I liked the gesture though. lol. Price is a bit on the high side, but it is well worth it(for the meats anyways) A solid 4 stars. A solid Korean BBQ place. I can’t wait to go back.
