Kipp Kahlia Music Instruction

Kipp is a wonderful, caring and personable instructor who has a creative and helpful way of teaching. My wife takes bass lessons from Kipp and my wife enjoys going to the lessons. She really looks forward to it. Kipp is very encouraging and patient and tailors each lesson as my wife’s skills develop. I’ve really noticed how much she’s learned and creating her own bass lines to match the genre, rhythm and tempo of the music she’s playing. I’ve had the opportunity to see Kipp in action when I attended one of her clinics for intermediate guitar and bass players locally in Long Beach. Being a musician myself, it was a fun time where we learned how to develop rhythms and improvisation on the fly in a very welcoming and non-​threatening atmosphere. There were seven of us there and that’s a pretty challenging task to accomplish. And she did it with ease. I highly recommend Kipp.

Kipp is amazing! Not only is she extremely talented at guitar, she is an excellent teacher. She really tailors the lessons and exercises for each student. She really pushes you to try new things, but the lessons are so laid backed and enjoyable!

Kipp has a natural gift for teaching guitar. Her easygoing yet rigorous approach works with people of all ages. I and both of my daughters have benefitted from Kipp’s guitar instruction. The reason for Kipp’s success as a teacher is that she knows and loves guitar music of all genres. She’s also a performing musician (a lead guitarist, no less) who also writes and produces her own music.
