This market has the best marinated meats for tacos in my opinion, not as salty as other places. I have tried a lot of local Mexican markets, but I always come back to La Bodega. The produce is in great condition, and the prices are usually unbeatable! The salsa is tasty but a little too spicy for me, but they do have the best guacamole. The staff is friendly and most speak English and Spanish.

This is the only market/​realistically decent place to get food and eat in a predominately residential area of town. Got some fixings and had our own mexican DIY style. Place is small, however, well organized. Great customer service.

My favorite market for Mexican groceries. They have fresh produce, good marinated meats for carne asada and any other essentials for your meal like salsas.

Got some pollo and carne to try along with the rest of the normal fixins.
The chicken was good but a little too thick and wasn’t marinated long enough. The carne was paper thin and lacking in flavor as well.
The salsa was great and the customer service was good and all in all not a bad deal. However, Bodega #4 right down the street is much better in my opinion.

One of the best Bodegas I’ve seen. Its slightly on the dingy side but the produce they have is always good and they run specials that compete with the other Mexican franchises. (El Super, Northgate, El Superior.) Sometimes their produce prices beat the big boys for long stretches.
Also the little bionico bar they have is delicious. If you see some one walking out of this bodega with a pineapple and straw that is a very lucky person right there.
Their drinks: SO FRESH, SO BOMB!

Love to shop here for fresh meats… They also have carnitas fresh out the fryer every Saturday and Sunday mornings… yum!

This is my go to local little mexican market. I usually find parking right up front in the 30 min zone. The butchers and cashiers are friendly Spanish speakers who I kid not are usually singing when I come in. The produce is sold at a fair price and the meat has always been fresh. I strongly recommend their seasoned chicken for grilling (pollo asado) it is super delicious! Everytime we grill it we get compliments. It is very affordable they sometimes run out on the weekends but are always willing to make more. The green salsa is also amazing like none I have tasted, very spicy, fresh and a mixture of different kinds of chiles. They have a variety of tortillas and your typical Latin products. Sell small bags of masa preparada for tamales. If you spend more then 30 $ (I think) you get a free 2 liter of soda.

Terrible experience bought a bag of potatoes and when I got home, the potatoes were rotten yuck they smelled terrible…
they should not sell vegetables in such BAD CONDITION.

bionico! Delicious! I’m a Black chick whose Spanish is sad, but I always get great service here! Again, the bionicos are delicious!

The services is better if you walk in there talking only in Spanish. I walked in there talking to them in English before and I don’t get the best service. I come here to get sweet bread and other groceries. But what is a must try is there green salsa they sell at the meat department in there its the best! Its so good there is sometimes a line for the salsa is def. worth the wait. I’m addicted to it can’t be without it lol :)

Bought some carne asada here and it was awesome. They have everything you need if you’re grilling true mexican. Good prices too.

This is a great little place to have near my house. I go here for last second stuff as often as I go to the Ralphs. The produce is actually decent to good, the queso fresco behind the deli counter is better than anything in their fridge and overall the prices are good. If this is within walking distance of your place I recommend it.
