Their hours are not flexible. I brought my car in on a Monday at 3 and they said they can only take it in the morning. Then I tried to take it in on a Saturday and they said they close at 2:30, closed on Sunday. They asked me if I can bring it in during the week. Some people, you know, have something called a job and need to commute. If they were open later during the week or on the weekends, I would definitely use them, but in this case, I’ll take my car elsewhere. I found another place open until 5 on Saturday. Also very hard to understand what they are saying.

I love these people. Fast, efficient and honest. I took my car in today because it was overheating. Another shop had told me I probably had a blown head gasket and it would cost about $ 1500. My granddaughter suggested I get a second opinion, so I went to Lee’s Auto Service. Spencer checked it out and told me all I needed was a new radiator cap. Amazing. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Saved a ton of money. What a relief.

Very cordial. Was seen right away. Diagnosed my problem right away which ended up not being a major issue. Oil change is around 50 dollars. Would come back again.

I had heard getting auto AC was expensive, but they took my car and fixed in just a few hours. Blows colder than ever now and only $ 125. Very pleasant owner. Told me to bring it right back if any problems.

At times it is hard to understand the people at Lees because of the language barrier, communication comes from patience. The lady and I came to an understanding and my mother’s car was fixed for a pretty decent price. It’s an older car and we came late on a Saturday. So the lady had to keep the car until Monday. Although, my mother wasn’t happy about leaving her car, when we picked it up, it ran just fine and she shouldn’t have anymore alternator problems. In fact, I take my 2000 Chevy Silverado to get it fixed when needed (now we refuse to have Harbor Chevrolet work on the truck-​Only Lee’s now-​) Lee’s mechanics are the best in the are as far as I know. Their prices are fair and I believe they check the car problem for free.
I highly recommend you go there for your car troubles. They will tell you what’s wrong with it and not try to gouge you like other places will.

Fast and affordable service. I received a smog check ($ 50) and oil change ($ 30) in less than half an hour. They were great at updating me on their progress for the short time I was there and had great customer service.

I came on Wednesday August 5^th in the morning to do a smog check, but their inspector was not in. Mrs. Lee rushes outside hands me a $ 10 coupon and asks me to come today (Thursday the 6^th) to have the service done. I returned around the same time, and was in and out in under 20 minutes. The level of professionalism is incredible, I was concerned I wouldn’t make it to work on time, but I have an hour to spare! Would recommend, would return!

I can’t say enough about this place! Friendly and HONEST! I went there thinking I needed all kinds of work done, because that’s what some other mechanic had told me, only to be told at Lee’s that all I needed was an oil change! $ 30 bucks later my car is running smoooooth! Spencer rocks! He’s one honest mechanic! And fast too! The Lee’s are humble and sweet, Mrs. Lee will always greet you with a smile, a bottle of water and some coffee! Best service ever! As long as they are there I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else!

I came here because I wanted an oil change and smog check done in one go.
There was no wait at all, which was awesome! The lady was very nice and offered me a cold bottled water.
The smog check took 10 minutes, the oil change took about 20. And I was out of there in 30 minutes!
1 star off because I asked for Mobil 1 Synthetic, and they said they had it. But I believe they gave me Mobil Super Synthetic instead. Not a huge deal, because the price was the cheapest I could find in Long Beach, but at least know the differences between the oils!

Unfortunatley I brought my car for only an oil change and the old guy said they re busy so come tomorrow,
I am here the next day at 12:30pm and he says sorry i am still busy and that i am the one who is late !!!

Friendly, honest, reasonably priced mom-​and-​pop auto shop — have gotten repair work and smog checks here (they’re STAR certified). Not the cheapest smog check, but fast and easy.

This is my go-​to spot for oil change. It’s a mom and pop shop that you can rely on. They are not going to rip you off or try to offer you things you don’t need for your car. They do get busy on the weekends sometimes but it’s not up to the point where the wait is too long. Can’t go wrong here. I highly recommend! :)

Both my son and I have taken our cars here to get fixed. Super nice and gracious couple. Honest with their quotes and great customer service.

The mechanic is rude. The company ripped me off on a smog check. After knowing my truck had a modified air filter which passed two years ago. The mechanic tells me he has a problem with the air filter. He says I need some codes for the air filter to get a certicate. He’s the mechanic not me. They should have never takin my money if they can’t finish the job. Be careful if you go here. I thought they where going to be my new mechanics. Not now (40.00 for nothing)

Had to get a smog for my car. Called up they said bring it in and will be done in 10 minutes. The lady running the desk was super nice and friendly. From when I got there till I drove away was all of maybe 15 minutes. Maybe not the cheapest smog in town but the little extra money was worth the time saved and hassle free environment.

I love this place! Such a gem. I come here for all of my oil changes and it’s super fast and only $ 30. I also had a coolant leak that they fixed no problem and for a reasonable price (i don’t remember how much I paid). Also a smog check. No issues there. They take credit cards. Pretty much if I have a car problem I definitely would come here first. I believe they are Korean so it’s a small language barrier but the wife is very hospitable and always offers some beverages while you wait. Better than any jiffy lube or chained place I know of.

I went to Lee’s for a required SMOG test on my vehicle after reading positive Unilocal reviews and having friendly phone interactions with the woman in the office — they met my expectations.
I was told within 5 minutes of handing over the keys that my car wouldn’t pass the test for sure because of an issue with my Check Engine light — I’ve had prior electrical issues with my vehicle so I wasn’t surprised. After years of having bad experiences at automotive shops /​mechanics who will basically lie or manipulate information to make an extra dollar, I was really pleased that this worker (Spencer) was so up front and honest about the situation — he even said that he «didn’t want to waste my time.»
I wasn’t charged a dollar.
I’ll definitely be bringing my car back for the SMOG test once the electrical /​engine issues are sorted out.

My poor car. I just don’t drive that much. Living in Belmont Heights, I just don’t need to that often. I can walk pretty much anywhere I need to. So I was a little neglectful. Until that bright, all capitalized SERVICE ENGINE SOON light began staring me in the face and I had to pump my gas pedal until a plume of Smoke Monster sputtered from the tailpipe.
Eek. That can’t be good.

Spencer did the diagnostics and repairs on my car and I had it back within a few hours. On a Saturday. As a walk in!
He took great care of my car and it was less than what I expected. I’m super happy and so is my car.
