Very nice homemade food by mom. The service is friendly and quick. If you desire unpretentious food that tastes great come here.

I had a taste for some authentic Mexicana, so I decided to stop into Los Primos. I ordered the tamale special, and I am sorry to say I can’t recommend it. The chicken tamale was dry, tasteless, and had small bones it in. I actually couldn’t finish the entrée for fear of lacerating my mouth or swallowing a bone. Based on my experience here, the food leaves much to be desired. The service, however, was excellent. The owner and staff were friendly and prompt. Unfortunately that doesn’t overcome the shortfall of the food quality. Perhaps that one time I went they used a different cook, or perhaps I just ordered their worst meal. I’d like to believe this, because I really want these guys to succeed, but I can’t in good faith recommend this place.

The Good and the Bad The Good: Pozole was decent. Good size bowl of tasty pork with plenty of broth and horminy. The Bad: Me: I’d like your Pozole Waitress: Would you like tostada or tortilla? Me: Tortilla. Waitress: Corn or flour? Me: Corn please. *brings bowl of Pozole and two tostada shells* Me: Excuse me, I asked for corn tortilla. Waitress: oh, we have a problem with that. For tortillas we have to charge you a dollar extra because you get 4 tortilla. Huh? Pozole always comes with tortillas. I’ve always chose corn. I have never been charged extra. WTF. Next time? No. Plenty of other places that offers Pozole.
