Great mom & pop operation. Personable, nice, quick, have a seat, you’re in and back out onto PCH in no time and there’s even a traffic light at the end of the lot to help you take a left outta there if need be.

Nery is very nice and personable. I had my car and my sons done here. Reasonable prices. Fast. I need another smog so I am going back here! He and his wife are very nice people.

This place was really convenient since it was near my house so I decided to go. After reading the reviews, I figured it would be my best bet. I paid $ 60 for the smog check, but it was worth it.
Nery was really helpful, very polite, and made sure I knew every step of what he was doing. And while I waited, he even held a conversation with me about school, work, family, etc.
I passed the smog check, and the whole process only took 15 minutes. Nery’s service is worth it and he’s an honest man, so you should stop by if you’re trying to find a good smog place!

These places charge about the same, so the people are what make a difference and the people here are terrific! Also, no bait and switch BS you get what you pay for.

I was running crazy to get a smog check at 5:30pm on a Friday! I was lucky enough to find this place still opened and the most kindness guy. He was very careful with handling my car, and the test took only 15 mins … Most important I PASSED!!!

How do I write a review about a smog check station? Pulled in, they hooked it up, ran the machine, and about 20 or 30 minutes later I walked out with my inspection already transmitted to the DMV. I mean, it really doesn’t get much easier than that. The guy, Nery, is super friendly.
When I filled out the paperwork, I used my own pen. When I accidentally gave to him, he gave me my pen back. It’s my favorite pen, so I was happy.
Smog checks are a pain in the ass, honestly, but at least I found a nice guy to take care of that for me. It’s a one-​guy store to the left of All Transmission & Clutch on the corner of PCH and Temple kitty-​corner from 7 – 11. He’s fast, he’s honest, and he has a cool swiper thing for credit cards on his cell phone.
Bring you car here and quit being a cheap bastard calling around for the cheapest price. Support a local business, you’re on Unilocal after all. :)
