Next Level Artist Makeup Studio

I took the makeup course here with Lyllie. I enjoyed it very much. I was able to get my pro card for MAC with this course. She is very helpful and the classes are very small. It helps a lot with the one on ones. With this course it has opened many opportunities for me. I would recommend this course to anyone who asks me where I got certified. — Thank you bunches Lyllie

i however took the «special effects» makeup course and was not too pleased with it. The Techniques are ok but you can just look them up on youtube instead of paying for it, seriously. Was told that i did NOT need to bring anything to class, First day of class comes and we needed our makeup brushes and color palettes, so yeah you kind of do need to bring your own equipment. I wouldn’t pay for the class experience i received that day. i feel like i wasted my money on a education i could of received for free. Seriously you could learn everything that was taught in that FX class on youtube, in my opinion and experience it was really nothing special at all. that being said the teacher teaching the class was very friendly and so was the owner of the school, but if your looking for something more in the FX field then your better off reading a special fx book or youtubing it.

Ladies & gentlemen, are you looking for a amazing and low price makeup school? Then Next. Level. Artist. Studios. Is where you should apply. I recently passed this class in June ’13 and it was the upmost fun, exciting and memorable experience I have ever had in my life thus far. The wonder Lyllie Gee is an amazing instructor and will work with whoever is passionate about makeup artistry. One of the best things about her is that she is able to go at any individuals pace. Plus the classes are small so it’s more one on one with the instructor, which is a lot better. Another thing is that Lyllie wants her students to succeed and perfect your skills to the best of your ability. She teaches brows, eyeshadow, highlight, contouring, airbrush, drag and avant-​garde. Something cool is that she also helps you with how pricing like what is too little and what is too much. And if you want to work at MAC or Sephora, if you finish your course she will give you a practice interview with questions that those stores give you to prepare you if you want to apply. Don’t take that interview lightly, she is dead on serious and doesn’t play games. Overall I learned a lot of techniques from Lyllie and you won’t regret attending her class. I know I don’t. She took my artistry to the next level. Hence the name.

This school is amazing in every way. The instructors are hands on and wonderful. Lyllie is the best in what she does, I have no complaints at all. I enjoyed every week of going to class. I came from the Sylmar Ca area in traffic about 90 mins to 2 hrs and I would do it all over again for all that I learned from her.
I would say this school is the best of the BEST.

I had the pleasure of taking one on one and group classes with Lyllie. I was very happy and satisfied with her knowledge and teaching techniques. She helped me perfect my techniques and build my confidence as a makeup-​artist. You will learn from the very basics of makeup to more advanced glam/​fantasy style. Because of her i have been able to establish myself as a professional and have had the pleasure of working with top-​notch HOLLYWOOD MAKEUP ARTIST– Victoria Jackson, who has opened many other countless doors for me. I also want to emphasize that her courses are well structured and affordable. With that said get out your powder brushes and get ready to take your talents to the NEXT LEVEL! ;D

I’m a current student at the studio and I have to say I’m very happy with Lyllie’s classes. I had very little experience with makeup (Pretty much went with a natural look with just foundation/​eyeliner) and since taking the classes I’ve learned so much that I can now confidentially give someone else makeup advice.
Lyllie is a wonderful teacher, and is very helpful and understanding if you don’t quite grasp something. She’s also very honest and will make sure you’re not learning to do something the wrong way.
If you’re looking for a very hands on class for an extremely reasonable price then I would highly recommend this service!

I was a former student at WET PAINT MAKE UP STUDIO and let me tell you that i am completely satisfied with the class and teacher, lyllie is wonderfull at what she does and the price to take this class is very affordable and the results are wonderfull. you learn lots of new things such as contouring, blending and threading eyebrows as well. this course is perfect for professionals or beginners. she teaches everything you need to know as far as making your clients face look even more radiant and beautiful than what it already is. Once you have completed your 28 hour course she will be giving you a test you have to pass i love the fact that she wont just hand you the certificate because she wants you to succeed in this industry. the class is small due to her wanting to spend more one on one time with her students which i love. she also gives you the opportunity to go out into the field and work with her on tv sitcomms or photo shoots. (come on what other class would do that for you!!!) let me just say that i tried signing up with different schools (makeup classes) and either they wouldnt return my calls or texts, they were way over my budget and some i heard were just doing the students wrong as far as their certificate. Lyllie is very professional and knows what is like in this industry and this is why i love her and recommend her to everyone. so if you are looking for a make up school and get all the new tricks in make up then this is the school for you…
