I liked the wide variety this place offered in terms of pastries and sandwiches. I got a chocolate croissant which was delicious and all their other pastries look great and I wish I would’ve gotten more. My friend got a tuna panini which I enjoyed eating and would get again. Their food was delicious and I would definitely recommend this place.

I love this place. Very rare to find amazing bakery items, that taste authentically European, but this place definitely fits the bill. To top it off, the team there is amazing. I’ve been coming here for years and they are ALWAYS sweet, chatty and a delight to see first thing in the morning. The only thing that is stopping me from giving a full 5 star raving review is their coffee is pretty terrible. Maybe it’s because I don’t drink milk, so I order the almond milk. My husband likes the arabic coffee, which I have to admit is pretty darn good, but not an everyday drink for me. :-)

Great little French café with amazing pastries; the chocolate dornut is particularly good. I’m also a big fan of their open faced Corque Madame. Order at the counter and then find seating on the patio(or take your coffee and pastries to go). It’s a fairly small place and it can get crowded on the weekends for breakfast, so come early if you want a seat.

Prices are reasonable and service is quick and friendly. You order and pay at the front then take your number to your table and they’ll bring out everything to you once its ready. I definitely want to come back to try their other stuff. I’ve had samples of their OMG bar and wow, OMG, literally. So chewy, sweet and delicious. I definitely regretted walking out without getting one to go while I was brunching here but no worries, I will be back.

I will definitely be back! My girlfriend and I decided to get brunch and I suggested Pandor as they were having their Unilocal special during Unilocal’s Coffee Club week and because I’ve tried samples of their pastries before at a previous Unilocal Elite Event and absolutely LOVED it. After browsing through the pictures on Unilocal,we both decided to order the Newporter as well as their Unilocal special which was an iced Vietnamese Coffee + Almond Croissant for $ 5. [A L M O N D C R O I S S A N T] OMG, where to begin… hands down the best croissant I’ve ever had but its not your average croissant… inside this giant croissant is a delicious almond filling, topped with sliced almonds. The texture, the taste, just everything about it was to die for. It’s not flaky like your average croissant, its actually a bit soggy but don’t let that turn you away. Just try it, you wont regret it. [V I E T N A M E S E C O F F E E] Don’t expect anything like café sua da as it’s definitely a lot lighter here. maybe because it’s not Vietnamese café? Regardless, it still had a good taste to it just not as strong. [N E W P O R T E R] Two sunny side up eggs, ham, cheese with béchamel sauce on top of a baguette. It is also served with a side of spring mix salad and some breakfast potatoes. The eggs were #eggporn status. Runny eggs=perfection. I was a bit worried the melted cheese with ham would be a salty combination but everything paired so well together, especially with the heavenly layer of béchamel sauce on top of a crispy yet soft baguette. The salad was a nice refreshing touch and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. Loved that they added a bit of onions and peppers to it to add more flavor to it. I would definitely recommend this dish as the perfect brunch item. Prices are reasonable and service is quick and friendly. You order and pay at the front then take your number to your table and they’ll bring out everything to you once its ready. I definitely want to come back to try their other stuff. Amazing food and amazing service! Haven’t had such a nice brunch in such a long time. Huge shoutout to the staff and specifically Marilyn for making our experience exceptional Context: Came here with my friend at around 1 pm on a Saturday afternoon looking for brunch/drinks/dessert Food: * Caprese sandwich: major yum! Didn’t think it’d fill me up, but it did! Light but filling and delicious and I love the sauce they use. Comes with chips you can choose from * Smoked Salmon and Egg: my favorite! A must try when you come here! Comes with bread * Green Tea Latte: creamy and rich. Great quality * handcrafted lime soda: they use one of my favorite companies! It’s a sugar cane based soda. * Caramel dessert: shaped like a cone, this was super rich and creamy if you’re in the mood for something really sweet * Tarte dessert and blueberries: I liked this one out of the two. The crust is Amazing lol Environment: There’s a patio seating, good for small parties located right in Downtown Long Beach Service: Everyone here is super friendly. We had Marilyn help us out and she was super nice in answering all of our questions about every single item and was attentive during our even though it’s fast casual style(order up front) Overall: can’t wait to come back and try something new

My friend picked up a Chocolate Almond Croissant yesterday evening during the Belmont Shore Stroll & Savor event. We were gunning for the guava pastry but the lady in front of us took the last one. I just had a couple bites of the croissant for breakfast this morning which definitely tastes better when toasted(I ended up burning it slightly — but still edible). I’m not a huge fan of croissants in general, but I did like this one even though it wasn’t as flaky as when it first came out of the oven. They sold beverages including a curious one: Snozzberry Soda. It is a cherry and strawberry mixed flavor. Sounds good, right? I decided to do a little Googling and suddenly remembered where I first heard of Snozzberry. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Enough said.

The kitchen closes early in the evening, which is disappointing, though I know they need to get to baking for the next day. Ultimately, I made the not-so-smart decision to buy a chocolate«dornut,» and it was clearly past its prime. Maybe they should close up the bakery too in the evening? Dense and oily, it was the worst cronut I’ve had. There were no defined layers, no fluffiness. Plus, at nearly $ 5, it was the most expensive donut I’ve ever had, and that’s saying something. You can pick up fresh gourmet donuts at Sidecar for $ 3, so I was even more underwhelmed by the cronut. During previous times visiting here, the staff was slow to clear dirty dishes off the tables, and service was not so good. It’s also a bad area to find street parking. The food, however, has been relatively good in the past.

Yum. Buttery croissants. Decadent desserts. Decent coffee. Get yours to go and have your breakfast at the beach. Pretty busy place in the morning but that’s a good sign!

Casual bakery/café with excellent selection of French pastries, breakfast and brunch items. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Small enclosed patio where you can enjoy your food while people watching. Definitely worth checking out.

It was a sad day for my waistline when I walked into Pandor… First, let’s just talk about the bread that tastes ever-so-almost like real European bread. In a word: delicious. Now, let’s move on to the pastries. STOP. Go ahead, BUYALLTHEPASTRIES. Because you will have a foodgasm in your mouth and you will proclaim the words: «I WANTTHISEVERYDAYFOREVER!» (The nice lady also gave me a sample of their olive tapanade, which is smooth and quite runny but oh so incredibly delicious on the baguette I just bought.)

Quaint little café with great customer service from the fellow working there on weekday lunch times. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant which was delicious but covered in some sort of mayonnaise. I was hoping it was cheese, but«methinks not». What a shame as all of that extra mayo just detracted from the taste of the ham and cheese. It was still delicious. The prices seems to be on the steep side with over $ 5 a croissant, but I guess since it’s a sandwich of sort, it was acceptable. The«blondie» with check in was just ok but seemed fresh and flaky; I really can’t complain since it was free, after all. Bathrooms– located in a weird lane around the corner to the right, and it was a bit odd and not the cleanest for a bakery, but it was fine. Outdoor patio– cute and looked across to the cool bike shops. I am all about bike shops these days, so that was a bonus. The guy who served me was so nice and certainly deserved a tip. When I went in to order one to go, he let me bypass the line since I had already waited. Overall, although this place wasn’t my first pick, I would sure return for another one of those croissants again soon if I lived in the area. Perhaps it’s a good thing that I don’t!

This place is amazing! Had the Croque Monsieur and it was delicious. I got to try the almond croissant and it was the best I’ve ever had, really great texture. More of a bite than the usual croissant. Also got the try the gluten free lava cake which was chocolatey without being too rich, very nice. Oh and my mocha was on point. Yes the food was great but it was the service that stood out. Our waiter was Daniel and he was extremely attentive and kind. He made the meal an even more memorable one. Must visit Pandor if you’re in the mood for great food and a little something sweet.

We went there for the first(don’t think it will be the last) time on Saturday(2÷6÷16). It was a bit hard to see the sandwich/panini menu so one of the workers took initiative to walk over and hand us paper menus *this was a good first impression and customer service was top-notch for the duration of our stay. We ordered two paninis, Merguez(lamb) and Le Parisien(ham), and both were yummy and came with fries(very good) or salad(pretty good) for $ 9 *seemed like a fair price for the quality and size of panini. The lamb had a good kick to it and the fries had a super seasoning. I got a black cherry soda that was awesome. We ordered some croissants and cronuts to take home and they were not as good as I hoped. This can be a frustrating area to find street parking. If you have time and there is space dine there… has a cool vibe.

GREATCUSTOMERSERVICE!!! Came here on a last minute search for dessert and we stumbled across this wonderful place! I feel bad that I forgot the name of the young lady that assisted us but she was Awesome! and super informative. Her recommendations were RIGHTON! The O.M.G. Bar — Sweet and Delicious. Very Rich so it would go great with a good cup of coffee. Chocolate Raspberry Bar — Not sure what the name is, but it is a brownie, topped with a chocolate mouse, and a thin layer of raspberry on top. Very Delicious! We’re excited to go back and try out their Breakfast!

Pandor is a quaint but casual little café on 2nd street that specializes in sweets. The day I went was right after working out. I had worked up an appetite and decided to try the tuna melt panini. The tuna melt was actually very tasty and filling. The cheese was actually mixed in the tuna for an unique combination that works. I couldn’t even finish my food, I like that the portions aren’t tiny. I finished my meal with a chai latte and shared an cranberry walnut oatmeal cookie and raisin Danish. The sweets were great. The servers made sure that my friend and I were attended to during our entire stay.

Pandor is a casual little bakery that serves up lunch and brunch item on their patio. The patio is small but we were able to find seating on a Sunday during lunchtime. They allow dogs on their outdoor patio so I was able to take my little Maltese with me. They are not full service, as in there no waiter taking your order. You can seat yourself and order inside. They will then bring out your food and beverage to you. The patio is small so it can be a little cramped. I had a croque madame. My sister had a similar dish but I forgot the name. We honestly tried each other’s and couldn’t tell the difference between the two. Nevertheless, both were really good. I would order my croque madame again. Parking is street only but there is usually plenty of street parking in the area. Even on a weekend, we were able to find parking 2 blocks down and made the small trek over.

Pandor is a cute little coffee shop/bakery on 2nd St. I like it because it’s one of the few places where I could buy bread. I bought a rustic baguette here the other day. Although it was only $ 2.50, I was disappointed by it since it was a little burned on the bottom and a little too chewy. I did go at the end of the day, so I suppose the stuff isn’t fresh anymore, so that was a little disappointing. If it were fresh, it would be a great baguette — crusty on the outside and not dense on the inside. The slices of cake do look delicious but whenever I come in the afternoon/evening, the selection is super limited. I guess I need to come in the morning one day. The pics of the red velvet cake look amazing — I really want to try it, but unfortunately every time that I’ve been here, it has been sold out.

Les croissants n’étaient pas frais. Probablement fait de la veille… Vu le prix, ils auraient pu faire un effort…
