I went during a BoGo sale expecting to see a lot more people there. Not crowded, but the parking lot is terribly neglected by the property management /owners so its not at all attractive from the outside. The inside is fine, a good selection of almost everything.(Would have thought there would be more selection in larger women’s sizes.) The service is very good and the young ladies were very considerate of the fact that I am disabled — they made a point of making sure I found everything I needed and did not get impatient with me. I’d love to see a larger selection and half-sizes in women’s 10 and above. Other than that I found a good deal on two pairs of shoes and will be back again!

I’ve passed this Payless so many times. The exterior and parking lot could use a little love because I honestly thought this location was closed! I had no idea that it was still in business until I saw a few cars parked out front one day and I decided to investigate. The employee working was a doll. I pointed at my shoes and said«do you still carry these?!» She asked my size and immediately pulled the shoes for me and also showed me they now come in other colors. She also mentioned that if I signed up online that I would receive a 30% off coupon via email that I could use on the shoes today. Well I signed up &10min later the coupon hadn’t arrived so I went to check out. The cashier still gave me the 30% off after I mentioned I had signed up but never got the coupon. Service from the employee was 4 – 5 stars but the store itself has issues. The inside of the store is not laid out well and could really use some displays. And as I mentioned before, the exterior could use some help as well. Not the best Payless I’ve been to but a good one to hit if you’re looking to be the only one in the store.

I usually have a good experience at this Payless and the staff is typically helpful. However, tonight(8⁄10 around 6:40pm) was a different story. The sales person working was indifferent and pretty rude. She seemed new, as the other worker was helping her out through every step of the return transaction I was trying to complete. It’s fine to be new, but don’t sneer at me, say my never-been-worn shoes are damaged and complain about my temporary debit card, just because I wanted to return the shoes and not exchange them. The last time I was helped there I was told I could return with no hassle because I was struggling to choose between several pairs. I really didn’t want to give them any more business tonight but I needed to buy socks while there. Debit card reader was not working so I paid cash. The same rude girl from before didn’t even hand me my bag after ringing me up — had to reach across the counter and grab it. So unpleasant and unwelcoming.

Located near the local Target is this discount footwear shoe store selling shoes for all ages and a few accessories such as laces, socks, backpacks, purses, umbrellas and hair ties We were driving in the area and thought that we’d stop and meander through the store since it’s been a while shopping in one. We were immediately greeted by a friendly salesgirl who offered to measure my daughter’s feet. Afterwards I quickly spotted the toddler section and sizes and then looked over the different options. There were a couple of cute pairs, but the only problem I have with this store is that you pay less for these shoes for a reason. My personal experience has been that either the shoes don’t last long or they’re so uncomfortable that I just end up donating them. I know they’re just kid shoes and they outgrow them faster than you know it, but I’d rather buy her something I know is of quality that will last and not cause her any pain. Plus you don’t always save money. Some of the toddler sneakers were pricing at $ 19.99, and at that price I’d rather pay a little more for a reputable brand like Sketchers, Adidas or Nike. It’s been years and I thought I’d take a shot in the dark, but I don’t see myself returning here anytime soon.

Eh. The Payless at Anaheim/Redondo is smaller, but has a better variety. This location mostly carries fancier women’s shoes, not enough of the fun Airwalks and American Eagle shoes for me. The kids’ and men’s sections are bigger than the other store, but I’m a woman with cheap shoe needs, and neither of those will help me.
