After a night of bar hopping, we stopped here on our way to the Yard House. There were not many people around on the night that I went. It was a very quiet and nice place to stop to look out into the ocean. You can see the Queen Mary from here and also a lighthouse. People were sitting on the benches and sitting on the pier, with their feet hanging off. If you’re not careful, I’m sure you could fall in! There are telescopes that you can put a quarter in to get a farther view as well if you go on top of the little lighted up dome :)

Great place to take a night walk and enjoy the view! Boats rest on the water at night secretly sleeping waiting to be awaken by the sunshine rays of daylight. The lines of people huddling in line for the $ 15 per person cruise. Or boat rentals that beg to rented and ridden. Options are endless. So many options that tease you at night, as you walk by enjoying the view. So many places the eat like Hooters or Yardhouse packed like no tomorrow. Families and friends mingle and drink. Nearby the choices endless from seafood places, to Irish house, to Ice cream/Churro/Funnel Cake joints. Kids laugh and scream over the merry go round! Giggle over games being played in arcade area. While couples walk throughout the pier holding hands enjoying the color changing lighthouse. The colorful lights, the sounds of waves, quite comforting a different scene than the typical is always fun. Boutiques are quiet but, inviting with friendly owners/workers sitting inside. Saga boutique had a friendly Aussie lady with a adorable accent jamming to old school good old Rock. The Long Beach Boutique had a cute Latina behind counter sniffling her allergies away providing assistance if needed! Then there was an all purple house store… that totally reminded me of my bestie. Or, the endless carts selling Long Beach Gear… in case you fall in love with the city. For some reason Long Beach reminded me of Las Vegas. We parked at outlets across the street and walked over. But, there is parking close to Merry Go Round & Saga Boutique. Or 30 min parking in green painted lane at front entrance of Pier. Also Valet option available. Santa Claus sits here in the daytime. There’s a stage, and a special chair set up for him. But, I think he either had the runs or was checking on his Elves cause he wasn’t here when I came. It’s okay! Lol Overall, will come back to check it out in the daytime. Across the street is the Long Beach Convention Center/Gondola Rides/Ferris Wheel/Outlets. So seems like a cool place to hang out whether it’s day or night!

This a cool little pier to chill, hang out, and people watch. You can view the queen mary across the bay, the lighthouse, and the shoreline village. Be careful, no guard rails. There are a lot of places to sit.

This is an awesome little spot with restaurants all around. You can see the Queen Mary across the harbor, and great view of the lighthouse.
