Great haircut, barbers, and atmosphere. A bit pricier than surrounding Barbershops, but the quality service is worth it. Make sure to call ahead and make an appointment, unless you have a couple of hours to kill.

The best in the business. Gabe, Manny, all the barbers there are top notch. Only go here if you want the best of the best.

Friday April 29^th, 2016, for us three girls, it was our first time getting our hair done at a barbershop, it was a wonderful experience. We were random walk-​ins, welcomed into a friendly atmosphere with everyone conversing and cracking jokes. Shout out to Kevin who was very clear with his approach to my hair before shaving my head and working his magic. Pricing is fair as well.

Back in high school and early college, I usually let my friends buzz cut my hair for me to save money, but after I started to work, I figured it’s time for better haircut. I Unilocaled them two years ago and was a walk in and Johnny was my barber. I asked for a comb over look and was blown away by how good it looked. Compliments from friends, family, and coworkers. After that, I have only been getting my haircut from him (except for one time I went to antonnetti’s when precise was closed, but needed a haircut for an event, and was super disappointed. There was a walk in special and a girl cut my hair. I know not every haircut can be perfect, but I got a haircut that a teenager would have asked for, I’m a 30 year old professional). Johnny is skilled, takes his time, and keeps his appointments. He even took the time to show me how to comb it how he does it, twice (I can never seem to get it as good, but getting close). Great atmosphere with espn always on and all the other barbers just clowning on each other. I asked Johnny before if he were to be busy, if it were okay to get a haircut from any of the other guys, and he said definitely. This was good to know, so that I wasn’t stepping on any toes. Great place and great barbers. Go here, you won’t be disappointed.

Love this barbershop. All the guys are great. Every time I come in its like a family of brothers working together. Nothing but laughs and jokes and group discussions. They make you feel very comfortable whether your a new client or a usual. Top notch cuts from all of them. I salute you all. And also to the guy that said he waited 2 hours, you must not have gotten an appointment. These guys go by appointment only. Your fault for waiting. Anyways… great job guys!!! #67

They are awesome, I’ve been in the shop twice each time I go in; I get a different guys and I ended happy with my designed (back of my head is shaved) I went in the first time they gave me a flower, second time I did not like the way it look my head structure and the guy was so fine with changing the design no charger. They are so friendly and have great customer service I have not left unhappy. Best part is they treat you like one of the guys.

If you’re ever in or near Long Beach and need a haircut, the Precise Barbershop is a must stop. If you need a blend, Precise. If you need a taper, Precise. If you need a mohawk, Precise.

Found this place here on Unilocal,and I’m definitely satisfied. The atmosphere in here is laid back but professional, the guys keep lively banter going which is pretty funny to listen to. Gabe greeted us right when we walked in the door which I really appreciated, never having been here before. We just walked in without an appointment at 2:30 on a Tuesday, only had to wait maybe half an hour which wasn’t bad considering there were two people waiting in front of us.
Kevin is currently in the process of cutting my teenagers hair but so far everything looks on point.
Bonus: points for the TWO tv’s with the football game on, bc no matter where you sit the game is visible.

Came by during my work break. They were very quick to let me know how many people were in front me which I really liked. As a first timer, gotta say I was very impressed. Good service, no muss no fuss. Kevin was my barber and did a great job on my line up. Great conversation and very helpful and attentive. Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely be coming back for a full haircut.

Great haircuts at reasonable prices. I’d recommend all the barbers. Personally I’ve been cut by Van & Kevin. Also, make an appointment to avoid waiting for walk-​ins b/​c it can get busy.

I’ve been here twice and I already love this place! Everybody at the shop is friendly and appreciate the customer. The haircuts were perfect exactly what I asked for and they always get it right. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great barbershop. Went in on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment and had to wait a while but it was well worth the great cut and affordable price. The guys are funny and do a fantastic job, which most likely adds to the wait time but they’re craftsmen.
Another customer brought a beer in and I was immediately envious. Maybe the next time I’m in I’ll bring a sixer, sharing is caring.

It’s been a LONG time since I went to a barber to get my hair cut. Normally I visit my sister who is a hair stylist, but I decided to try something new.
Décor (5): This place has an urban barbershop feel. Stadium seating in the waiting area, classic barber wheel, fluorescent lighting, television (with sports on), and artwork.
Service (4): The place was really busy so we had a long wait. They were very accommodating. There was 4 of us and they took us in without an appointment. There were only three barbers in, but if you have a favorite, the wait could’ve been longer. We also got an opportunity to watch the haircuts walking out of there. Real impressed with their work and attention to detail. I can see why the wait was long. The barbers are high in demand. They have a lot of personality and made it a comfortable atmosphere.
Cut (5): They do single blade shaves and razor cuts. The quality of the tapered fades were amazing. I got my cut by #vankombs (instagram) and he was great about making sure that I was satisfied with the progress of the cuts before moving forward. He was also very flexible about any changes or last minute requests that I made. I explained the haircut that I wanted VERY briefly, but he was somehow able to interpret exactly what I wanted.

…and to those complaining about the «rough» neighborhood, unless you’re looking to move in the area, what difference does the neighborhood in which you go cut your hair make?! It’s North Long Beach people, NOT Watts! (calm down). The neighborhood is just fine and safe.

Prices went up to $ 14. Still a bargain in this town!
They added more barbers now and extra chairs so the walk-​in wait isn’t so long. It is still a smart idea to make an appointment though… especially on a Saturday.

Pros:
Awesome haircuts for cheap.
They do excellent fades and take their time doing their work.
Real barber shop lots of sports talk. Real man cave.
My haircut was $ 14 pretip.
Cons:
Neighborhood is pretty rough. Make sure to park on the street or somewhere very visible.
Shop is hard to find.
