Rabbi Michael Sternfield

Rabbi Michael Sternfield married my husband and I in Del Mar, CA (30 minutes from San Diego). It was an Interracial wedding and he did an excellent job to ensure both cultures were met during his speech.

Rabbi Sternfield made our wedding even more wonderful. I was not involved in any local synagogues in LA but wanted to keep the Jewish tradition for our ceremony. He took the time to really get to know us with several phone calls and in person meet ups before the big day. He made the whole process very personal and honored all of our requests along the way. I would happily recommend him for anyone’s wedding.

I’m Jewish and my wife is Catholic. We needed to find a Rabbi who would be willing to co-​officiate with a Priest. It was up to me to find the Rabbi and I’m so glad I found Rabbi Michael Sternfield. He’s such a nice, easy going guy and took the time to get to know both my fiancé and I as a couple and separately. He easily could’ve just went through the motions, but he was very engaged and was genuine throughout the entire process.

We had researched several Rabbi’s prior to our wedding, but when I spoke to Rabbi Sternfield on the phone, I felt an immediate connection. Naturally, we then proceeded to set up a meeting.
Rabbi Sternfield came all the way out from Long Beach to meet us at our home in Beverly Hills, within just a few days of our initial conversation. During our meeting with the Rabbi, we both felt that he was genuinely happy and appreciative to become a part of our wedding ceremony, and as such he put us totally at ease.
For our Friday wedding, the good Rabbi arrived in Agoura Hills a half hour early, accompanied by his portable chuppah. For the ceremony itself, we put him totally in charge of the proceedings and were most happy that we did. The wedding came off flawlessly and all there were very much impressed with his performance.
We both recommend Rabbi Sternfield absolutely 100% as a wedding officiant, or for any other ceremony requiring a Rabbi.

He married us on May 23, 2015 and from our first meeting, we both felt that he was a perfect match for us. It’s simple to officiate a wedding, but we were looking for a little more than that. Rabbi Sternfield has an innate ability to connect with and understand people. He exudes warmth and genuineness which was a very important attribute to us.
Since our wedding 3 months ago, I was happy to refer him to 2 of our friends who were just as happy with Rabbi Sternfield as we were.

My new mother in law found Rabbi Michael Sternfield less than a month before our wedding. The Rabbi was excellent, we feel very fortunate to have found him. He was very kind and easy to work with, and was willing to marry us on a Friday night. I spoke with him on the phone a few times, my fiancé and I met him in person, we had separate conversations with him and then he officiated our wedding. He let us use his chuppah, which saved us having to rent one.
We received tons of compliments on the service, he really helped make the wedding special for us and our families. If you are looking for a Rabbi for ANY OCCASION, I enthusiastically recommend Rabbi Sternfield!
