Raven Motorsports

Does anyone know what’s happening at Raven motorsports. They were servicing our Passat and we liked their work. We’ve tried all week to contact them but no response, and driving by it looks like they haven’t been open in days. Any body know what’s happened?

My Audi S5 needs new front brakes, but Ive tried calling this place over 2 days and couldn’t get anyone to answer.
Not a good first impression. I’ll steer clear and give my hard earned money to a business that values their customer’s time.

I’ve taken my 2003 Audi RS6 to Matt and Riccardo on a couple of occasions. At the time, I lived in Los Angeles and it wasn’t always convenient to get my car there. But, I made a point of getting my car there right after I purchased it because they really know their stuff (especially with a relatively rare car in the RS6). They always gave me top notch service and great pricing. Even if I couldn’t always get my car into them, they were more than helpful with any questions I may have had through e-​mail.

Best Audi shop, bar none. It’s just a genuinely good shop with passionate, honest people. They cut the bulls**t and quote you honestly and accurately with no hidden charges or anything of that sort. They don’t try to sell you anything you don’t need. I took my b6 a4 in for a timing belt replacement and not only were they my lowest quote l, it was done same day and Riccardo gave me a ride home. I can’t recommend this place enough. You have an Audi, VW or Porsche? Bring it here.

This place is dope. Lots of B5 S4’s. Came here to get my solo werks coilovers installed. Even tho it took a while George did a great job and maintained professionalism while installing the suspension. It looked hard from where I was standing. The price was great and they even let me know what I needed to get fixed on my car. I will definitely be coming back to pick their brains on my Audi. Thank you Mat, George and Ricardo for the best experience at the shop.

This review is long overdue. I have brought my a4 here several times for things ranging from simple service and inspections, to suspension replacements and repairs. They are, knowledgable, professional, experienced, efficient, and reasonably priced. With a car as specific as an Audi, it’s great to know you can count on someone else other than the dealer to handle the repairs.

I would have to write a review for this place.
I take my car in today for a spring and it’s my 2^nd time here. I bring my car back to this place because these guys were professional and friendly when I took my car here for maintenance.
After I bring my car in today, Matt gave me a ride home, which is very helpful since it will take a few hours for the job to be done.
Matt and Ricardo and the rest of the team are very professional and friendly, but the biggest part that I would like to point out is their passion and responsibility. Their business hour is until 6:00pm. However, they worked on my car until 8:00pm, since they promised to have it done by today, which I don’t think a dealership service center/​regular autoshop could do.
There might be other professional and experienced auto shops around, but I don’t think any of them could do what Raven Motor could do.
I would like to recommend Raven Motor to anyone.
P. S. The price was also very reasonable.

I can not say enough great things about these guys. Finding a good mechanic is liking finding gold and these guys are like finding gold and diamonds at the same time. Matt is absolutely awesome and should be the only place to bring your car. The only problem with giving such a glowing review is that they are going to be so busy, I can’t my car in for service.
Seriously, if you need a good shop, these guys are it!!!

Let me just start by saying my experience at ravenmotorsport was awesome. Had a timing belt service done by them at a reasonable price. But what i most appreciate was them opening up the shop for me on their day off! On top of it, these guys are up to date with common existing problems that your cAr might have. Ricardo took care of checking up the possibility of my cam follower problem on my gti mkv. That led me to take the problem to the dealership to replace the part before warranty goes out. I thank ricardo and his team to notify me this and save me $$$$ .

Stopped by on «Good Friday» which is a holiday for most. It was 5:00 and i just got off work. I walked in and didn’t see anybody, and then Riccardo came from parking a car on the street, and from accross the street said Hi and can i help you as he was walking my way. Usually when meeting people for the first time, they are kinda like” what do you want” but Riccardo was great. We talked for about 20 min. Introduced me to Matt, who was busy on the computer, so hopefully I’ll get to know him a bit better. I don’t even have the car yet, but wanted to find a performace shop when the car is delivered next week. Having my own Aftermarket business in Lakewood, it cool when each party has a understanding of what’s going on and how things are ran. Looking to do Exhaust, ECU upgrade and some other stuff. I only gave a 4 star rating because I haven’t had anything done yet. I’m sure it”ll be 5 when we start.

These guys are the BOMB!!! They know their cars, very user friendly, very reasonable. The whole team are a pleasure to work with and the quality of their effort is top notch. Highly recommend them.

ok i will begin with saying i bought an Audi a4 b7 06 i bought 2 years ago i started to see what you can do to Audi and the ecu, exhaust etc. mods. So i went to another shop in Torrance. i did my exhaust and my ecu their and other small mods. i didn’t like the service i received there. Everything was rushed. They didn’t bother say hi what can we do. What are you looking for? It was just what you need we have it it’s going to be $ money. Ok bye.
So I moved on. I found raven motorsports they are in a different level of customer service and expertise. They welcome you right away. They was no rush was so ever. Riccardo, Matt, and the Raven Team took their time explaining thing to be about my car. They even founds some things wrong what the other shop did do in Torrance. my exhaust was done wrong by factory it didn’t align right. They showed me. Matt also found other things wrong with the car.
Matt and riccardo took time and talked me about what would i do or plan of doing. We talked for another hour or so. it didn’t feel like i was at a shop. They give that warm garage feeling. That you would get when you are at your friends working on cars. That’s how a shop should be and feel like. Not rushed.
Both Matt and Ricardo will chat with you all day about cars and you can really sense their passion for not only Audis, but the automotive industry as a whole they know what they are doing and will not add stuff like other people in Torrance shop will. i would go back and recommend them to other and come and bring my cvt transmission car, even if Ricardo still tells me to get a manual transmission. :)

Wow, I felt like I was hanging out in a garage with a bunch of friends rather than getting my car serviced! These guys are great (Riccardo, Matt, and the Raven Team) and we had a bunch of fun talking about cars and everything in between. That passed the time like nothing!
Riccardo was so gracious to contact Malone tuning for all my questions (I got my ’11 VW Golf TDI ecu flashed with Malone Stage 1.5). He didn’t pretend to know or assume anything and made sure all my concerns were answered straight from the source since I was one of their first Malone TDI ecu flash customers. Never once was I worried about being in the wrong hands as Riccardo was great at calling/​emailing me with answers to the many questions I had. Riccardo even fit me into their schedule 2 days before my appointment! Awesome!
Even better, they ran a test on my ECU and found some error codes on it prior to flashing the ecu; its a good thing they did because I had been having check engine lights come on for the past few months, something the VW stealership never diagnosed! Thanks to Raven I will be taking my car into the dealership this week.
Riccardo stands behind their service and insisted on riding with me in the car for a test drive post flash to ensure nothing would go wrong. This is quality customer service, no doubt about it. I will be taking my car here for all my upgrades and soon to be maintenance needs (VW warranty about to expire)! Thanks guys!

I was referred to this shop by a fellow Audi lover and he didn’t steer me the wrong way. I plan on going to Matt with all my audi needs from this day forward. He answered all my questions and was honest, which I like since I am a girl and sometimes people take advantage and this was not one of those times. Thanks for the excellent customer service.

Where do i begin. I have been going to raven motorsports since day one. Matt is one of the most experience Audi Technicians in the Southern California area and has become the only person /​shop i allow to work on my cars. I have spent thousands of dollars at this shop and they will continue to receive more due to trust. Finding an auto shop that you can actually trust is very hard to find these days. My service and maintenance has always been second to none. Both Matt and Riccardo will chat with you all day about cars and you can really sense their passion for not only Audis, but the automotive industry as a whole. Anytime i or any of my friends need service done on Euros, i will always point them to Raven Motorsports.

I’ve been working with Matt for over 8 years now. He was the only mechanic I trusted with my B5 Audi A4 1.8T, my 2.0T A4 Quattro, my GTI VR6 and even my dad’s Porsche C4S, and I still only trust him today. His knowledge and problem solving skills on Audi, VW and Porsche cars is unbelievable!
He is the only mechanic I would trust working on these cars, and one visit to the shop will prove to you that I’m not the only one… the place is packed with cars!
If you’re our of warranty and need servicing, need a simple aftermarket mod or an extreme custom build, Matt and the team at Raven MS are your one stop shop for everything. I highly recommend them!

Just had my b7 s4 tuned and an exhaust installed with these guys — Riccardo was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process, beginning nearly a month ago with dozens of emails from me asking questions. These guys are super nice, stand-​up dudes; the prices were below any other quotes I received, and Riccardo and Matt went out of their way to accommodate me with an in-​shop JHM tune which at the time seemed impossible to get my hands on without driving to JHM itself.
These guys are genuine Audi-​fiends; the exact type of person you want working on your car. They’ll help you pin-​point little issues you might be experiencing with the car but unlike most shops will let you know which ones are actually worth repairing and be completely transparent throughout the entire process.
My s4 is a new animal after all these mods — will be returning to Raven soon.

I took the Allroad aka Lisa to a local shop in SD to get the air ride suspension sorted out and 3 hours later «we can get it to recognize bla bla bla womp womp… take it to audi they should be able to reset it» yea so needless to say that sh! t wasn’t gonna happen so I remembered the guy I bought it from telling me about a spot in Long beach that he had it serviced at. It was Raven MS, I debated taking a trip just for the suspension just to get another possible bullsh! t excuses but it was my day off so what the hell. They pretty much laughed at the story that they other shop gave me and went to work and 30mins later and countless jokes later Lisa was fixed. No more shaking or bottoming out because it was over 402’d. Matt and Riccardo and the other dude were cool as sh! t and honest. The AR isn’t going to anyone but them.
At the end of the day there good people and I highly recommend them because they love what they do and there good at it.

I was searching for an auto shop to service my 2011 VW Jetta TDI and came across Raven Motorsports on Unilocal.There were a lot of good reviews of this place, so I decided to give this place a try.
I came in for an 40K service and they screwed it up completely. When I left the shop, I didn’t realize my oil was leaking. It was until later that night that I was driving, my transmission light came on saying it was overheating. Good thing I wasn’t on the freeway at all, otherwise that would’ve beem a nightmare. I had to call AAA to tow my car all the way to my house. I had to take a day off work and call AAA again to tow my car back to the shop.
I found that the oil seal broke and that they had to replace it. They apologized, filled up half of tank with diesel, and told me my next oil service would be free.
I came back for my free oil change and the owners are no where to be seen. You have a rookie technician changing my oil, rotating tires, and blasting loud music like it’s some club. Not to note that I had bald tires that needed to be changed and technician didn’t even notice.
I really wanted to like this auto shop, but this was just unacceptable. Not only they screwed up my car, but wasted my time to take a day off work for their screw up. I don’t recommend coming here at all unless you want some crappy service done.
