Retro Reload

I can tell you from experience that this place rocks. I was in their Lomita location at least once a week I think and I always walked out with killer items. The sad part is, I moved out of the South Bay so now I’m too far to frequent this next location the way I did their first store but I still don’t mind making that drive occasionally to check their inventory.
The store is full of strangely unique items and interspersed with some really great and affordable vintage clothes. Although they do have a lot of novelty items, there are some hidden gems to be found here as well. I picked up a pair of Cole Hahn saddle shoes for $ 8 once. I also got a pair of Sergio Rossi heels for only $ 22. My favorite leather Marc Jacobs jacket? Purchased it here for only $ 16.
And if you have a costume party (even off-​season) or need to go Halloween shopping, this place is perfect. Last year I picked out a mask, black opera gloves, a fan, costume makeup, a vintage Jessica McClintock prom dress, and various accessories to make an awesome costume that received tons of compliments. Best of all, I only spent $ 26.
In conclusion, this place is the best.

Yay! They’re back! As with the Lomita location, the new Retro Reload is a fantastically curated collection of glamorous and unique finds, along with well chosen vintage pieces. You’ll find amazing retro style dresses, contemporary pieces, awesome accessories like sunglasses and bags, fun stuff like fabulous smelling soaps and candles and so much more. To top it off, the prices are amazing and the owners are constantly bringing in new stuff that I’ve never seen before. Their displays are even awesome! Check them out!
