Cutest bead shop ever! I went in with a friend and we had fun browsing all the beads, gemstones, accessories, etc… They sell quality gemstones and certain ones sell out faster than others. The precious gemstones are in the cases so they are a bit pricier than the ones on the counter. You can tell the difference in the gemstone grade and richness in shades and colors, so you do get what you pay for. The store is very organized and nicely laid out. In my opinion, everything is priced right and the staff was very friendly and helpful, taking the time to show us all the beads. One of the ladies even gave us her honest advice on the best way to make our bracelets! I bought some agate, aventurine and matte amazonite beads. Their prices are really good and even cheaper than Michael’s and Joann’s, lol… I signed up to receive emails for the monthly classes. They also have displays of different custom jewelry made with the items they sell in the store. Will definitely be back, support local businesses!

Decent selection of good quality beads, shells, and findings and I like that they carry vintage beads! Location was close to home so I can see stopping in from time to time. I do feel they are a bit overpriced compared to other beads shops I’ve purchased from, and they don’t offer returns or refunds. Was I overall thrilled with the selection and prices? No. But in the end I liked how my projects came out. Worth a stop if you’re in the area, the shop is very clean and easy to browse through and the staff was nice and helpful.

This is my go-​to store when I need any beading supplies– they have such a good variety of beads and findings, and the quality is top notch. Super friendly and helpful staff; they’ve given me plenty of pointers and suggestions, and have even helped me when I’ve gotten stuck on a project. I recommend the mini workshops they often provide on Saturdays (and other days) — I just took a macramé bracelet workshop from Vanessa, thinking I already know how to macramé, maybe I’ll learn some small trick– but I now have a whole new appreciation for the possibilities of macramé! So worth it. I love this store.

Wow — this place is GREAT. Friendly and helpful staff that provide great classes and even demos whenever ever I have asked — and have even offered. So helpful — A++++++++ Customer service! I love this place and I love learning from the teachers at the classes they provide. They have a GREAT inventory and are pretty reasonable!

Very friendly and helpful staff with a large variety of beads, wire, and findings. Great gemstones, shells and pearls. Fun workshops and classes. You have to check out all the seed beads and Czech Glass too! Samples throughout the store.

Staff there is really friendly and helpful. Especially Toni who knows probably way too much about beads, but that is never a bad thing. The manager Connie came out to introduce herself to my girlfriend and explained they have classes and workshops. I am surprised this store does all of that and more. Amazing store plus my girlfriend is probably going to come back too many times. Hopefully next time I don’t have to spend over an hour waiting for her to pick out what she wants.

This wonderful bead company just moved to this new location and the new store is great! I have been going to Ruby Tuesdays for years and have alway experienced exemplary customer service. I always get what I come for with help from the staff and owner, Connie. They all have made innumerable suggestions that help me finesse my bead work. They REALLY take their time to help me solve any problems. There is a wide variety of beads, crystals, findings and they are always getting new ways of making things. They have trunk shows and lots of classes. I feel like family when I go there, and in all the years I have gone, I have received warm yet professional and efficient help.

Didn’t even go, read the reviews, and there are simply two many places that allow my support dog Brenda, a Yorkie in, and insist on holding her!

I moved to Long Beach recently from Redondo Beach where there is a Very Nice Bead Store. I was hoping to find one here that I would Love… After reading the posts… I am already a Huge Fan. I am so impressed that the Owner doesn’t allow Dogs in her shop that I’m going tomorrow. I will be so happy to be able to shop at a store where there aren’t dogs. They don’t belong in Stores. Also it sounds like the beads are good quality. I would rather pay more and get good quality beads… I’m excited to see the store and to meet the owner.

I popped in here yesterday for some clasps and chain for a last minute project and I must admit I was nervous after reading the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by amazing customer service, the young girl that works there took the time to suggest items for my projects and then took the time to show me the proper technique for bending the clasp or jump ring or whatever it’s called. Yes this place is a bit pricey, but I prefer to pay a little more and support local businesses. I would recommend this place. I am happy overall.

Zero negative stars ! Worse service ever ! I was attacked for having my service dog with me and told to leave actually was yelled at to leave and the owner was in my face yelling at me to leave the property for having a service dog which is my right. I will never go back and suggest you don’t either

I would rate lower on costumer service alone, but the beads, albeit expensive are beautiful. My husband had a great idea to buy my daughter one bead for her fifth birthday and then bring her back and let her go crazy to pick her own beads to make pretty braclets she’s obsessed with. The initial visit he was impressed. The lady was very nice. When he went back with my daughter he experienced a very rude woman and the worst customer service ever. He said maybe she was just having a bad day but she was so rude and unfriendly we’ll never be returning to the store. They could have had customers for life. Costumer service matters!

The energy/​service in here was just awful! Originally I was excited to visit this store because I was in search for some beads to create a bracelet, simple enough right? After I stepped one foot into this store while holding my four pound chihuahua, a very unfriendly woman stood up from her chair and approached me to say «we don’t allow dogs!» I’m thinking whoa lady can you at least welcome me and say hi before you give me your absurd store policy? Once I put my dog in my car to come back inside the woman stayed on her bottom and ignored me as a customer not offering any assistance or acknowledgment at all. She was a hater. I was amused at how she got off her butt to tell me my dog was not welcomed and then ignored me as a customer. Super rude, will never go back, and will recommend to no one. Unfortunately I think the rude hater woman was the owner which is why she thinks this behavior is acceptable. Ugh.

I’m between loving and hating this place, sometimes the staff and owner are friendly, sometimes not so much.
Also the prices are VERY high, the LA Mart of course is much better, I always try to find what I’m looking somewhere else first, they are a last resort because of price.
On the loving hand… I ride my bike to them (so they are very close to me) most times I get a lot of help find just what I need. The prices are just so high, I don’t purchase allot.
They also need hipper beads, very old-​fashion style beads~ but supplies are GREAT!!!

This place is my go to place. I love that they are always willing to help you with a design. They take the time to show you techniques without having to attend and pay for class. I love it.

I have been shopping here for the last few years. Love the customer service and attention from the sales staff every time I visit. They have always taken the time to answer my questions or assist me with learning a new technique. The store owner is fantastic and very accommodating. Even though the store is small, it is packed with a great variety of chains and charms and beads. The sales they promote are great and an added bonus is they give you a card that they stamp with your purchases. Eventually you get a one time discount once the card is full. Now who doesn’t love to save money?

My mother loved this shop for many years. I walk in to discover a very rude lady behind the counter. Unless ur older I would not enter, u can find the same place elsewhere with better service

Something for every style and level. It is a small store but it has whatever you need to finish a project. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Their prices are competitive and they have beautiful and unsual stones strands and pearls. I love their assortments of vintage looking beads and handmade glass.
I really like this bead store. but San Gabriel Bead Company is my favorite.

For me this was not the best place to go, yeah its pretty and nice BUT i think its a lil over priced and customer service could be better.
Yeah they help but when you feel like your just being helped and don’t really want to help you and makes you want to just leave. Then go to this place, but for me i would rather go to PUDGY Beads or the one in El Segundo…

I love beads and although they have a good selection. Pudgy Beads is better.
The owner is only friendly if she knows you, after spending $ 100s of dollars there I finally just stopped going, not because of the staff but because of the owner’s service.
Now people can change so try it out for yourself, but don’t be surprised if you get snubbed.
