Safeway Printing

Michael Perez, owner of Safeway Printing & Graphics, personally designed my logo and created for me business cards in a matter of hours. I was on a time crunch and needed this done by the following morning. I came to him with a basic concept and a sense of urgency. He was willing to listen to my situation, showed empathy and had a comprehensive understanding of my company’s branding direction. With his background in design, work ethic, and natural ability we accomplished our task and I am extremely grateful. The least I can do is write

My journey started at Other Man Printing services in Long Beach. When they printed it out, it was significantly darker than our design. It wasn’t centered on the paper and the border was missing. OtherMan told us it was a problem with the file.
On a lark, I took the file to Safeway Printing. The owner, Mike, told us there was nothing wrong with the file and when he printed it, it came out EXACTLY like it looked on the screen. We couldn’t have been happier. We took our next print job there and that came out flawless and fast. Hey Mike, can you do an 8 foot banner for us? No problem! Six hours later, our full color banner was done.
Watch out for parking. The store is located next to the Bermuda Triangle where PCH, 7^th, and Bellflower intersect. I rarely park on 7^th street there because when people clear the Bermuda Triangle, they put the pedal to the metal and blast down 7^th street going 60. I recommend parking on one of the side streets and walk to the print shop. Unless you enjoy playing Frogger with the Nascar Wannabes.

I am so excited to have found the «new» Safeway Printing. The place is a full service print shop on my side of town (East Long Beach). The new owner Mike has revamped the place to offer everything a big store has to offer and he’s also an awesome graphics designer. I spent hours calling print shops asking for same day service to print 55 invitations and no one could deliver. Not only did Mike and his assistant Manny deliver, but Mike also helped correct a color error on my invitations at no charge. Safeway will definitely be my new go to place from now on for all my projects.

Today I needed to get something printed for an upcoming art show and they went above and beyond the call of duty. The staff was very knowledgable about the printing process and found best solution for my artwork! My crop marks were also off and they went ahead and recut my price so it would fit inside the frame. I will definitely be going back to Safeway.

Over 5 years ago I used Safeway Printing and the Owner took care of me personally. I had a lot of questions and he took the time to answer them. Since then I haven’t had any need for printing and just this week I looked them up for a new order that I needed ASAP!!! Boy was I shocked! I thought for sure I wasn’t going to get the same treatment as before since their business production grew 10x than before. Boy was I wrong! The owner still took the time, not only to talk me through an emergency request I needed for one of my customers but actually came down himself and then even sent one of his team members down to help me install within 24 hours! Great place! I’ve been using Safeway printing for all three of my small businesses for quite a while and I love them! They are fast reliable and most of all affordable! plus Mike is a really nice guy!

Mike did a great job for our store. He not only made and designed business cards but he made us gift certificates, merchandise tags and sunglass tags. Very good work and very efficient.
