I can’t believe I found Dr. Kim. She took care of me on an emergency at South Nassau Hospital a couple of years ago. She was very compassionate and showed so much empathy for what I was going through. I was searching for someone as the many foot doctors in the area just want to rush you in and out and get as much out of your insurance as possible. She’s in a small office and getting an appointment was pretty easy. I think it’s because she said she just started so maybe no one has discovered her yet. And guess what, she actually remembered me from like 2 years ago.
I def agree with the other reviewer that having the softer side of a female foot doctor is really good. Sometimes foot problems are just embarassing and you feel awkward at the doctors like you did something wrong. Dr. Kim makes you feel so comfortable and I really wish she could be my doctor for everything. Heck, I’m going to send my husband to her also cause she’s jsut so involved with her patients. He has terrible foot issues and like a man just refuses to go see anyone because of some bad past experience. She wasn’t out to make a buck either and would you believe sent me to Amazon to buy foot care items so I could try them out. Thanks Unilocal for helping me connect with Dr. Kim.

I needed a new foot doctor and Dr Kim is the third I have seen for my feet pains. Imagine my surprise to see a female doctor in this area where pretty much all the podiatrists are older men. She understood everything I was going through as a female and is by far the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I have ever visited. She really cares about what is wrong and spends the time to get to know you and properly diagnose the issues. She’s new but seems so much smarter and definitely more informative than any of the other podiatrists that I’ve seen In the past. She will take her time and has such a soft touch when she examines you. She doesn’t rush you out the door and we actually spent some time chatting because she didn’t have another patient behind me.
I ended bringing my son to see Dr Kim as well. He’s been getting pains during basketball and is also flat footed. Dr Kim spent so much time with us to provide corrective actions. She was patient and excellent with my highly active child who does not like to be in a doctor’s office. She measured his limbs, analyzed his gait and explained orthotics compatibility. Dr Kim discovered other problems besides flat foot because of her detailed analysis. I’m so glad we brought him and I only did it because I had such a pleasant experience myself. We both still have to follow-​up with appointments. My dad is older and needs diabetic foot care and I plan on convincing him to leave his current foot doctor to visit Dr Kim. She is a hidden gem and I’m afraid she’ll be discovered soon. Highly recommended…
