I cant believe I haven’t written a review on this place yet! Long over due! Sasha’s– living with style is my one stop destination for all my gift and home décor needs! They have everything from throw pillows, lamps, furniture to locally made art, jewelry, succulent arrangements and soaps! Located in a cute little bungalow every time I step into the store I feel a sense of warmth and comfort as if it was my own home. The store looks different every time I visit so it’s always refreshing to see new items and I always walk away feeling inspired. They also run a interior design firm in the back offices that offer an array of design services for those who are in need of extra help. If you haven’t visited this place yet its a must!!!

Sasha is a wonderful lady who is very talented at interior design! Her taste is amazing and she’s very knowledgable, friendly, efficient and insightful. Her and her staff are all really nice and hardworking people that really care about their customers and clients. The retail store is full of beautiful pieces for your home but also has cute knick knacks that are perfect for birthday gifts. I could spend hours in this store looking at all the cute jewelry, scarfs and accessories! Love this place so much!

Sasha has a wonderful flair for design. Her home accessory retail store is chock full of art, furniture, lighting and many other fun items. Admittedly, I am more than a bit biased, but I am sincere when I say her design vision has transformed ours homes and my office into vibrant, yet cozy spaces. I encourage anyone looking for a designer or some home accessories to visit Sasha’s Living with Style!

This charming home-turned-into-shop is chockablock full of treasures crafted by local artists and beyond. It is an interesting, fun and colorful space which reflects the personality of owner Sasha. The space also serves as her interior design studio and as a backdrop for the circulating art shows that she regularly hosts. Drop by next time you are looking for a unique gift or if you just want some visual stimulation and sheer enjoyment of browsing through an eclectic and artfully arranged collection. It’s worth the trip.

Sasha’s retail space is just across the street where I have my Art Gallery, Les Jolis Trésors. Her boutique is in a beautiful house on Broadway and carries some of the nicest things for gifts. She is also very familiar with the neighboring businesses and helped me for the interior design of my gallery. We have launched together the Third Thursdays Art Event On Broadway, having each Third Thursday an opening reception, a Art talk or an Art demonstration.

This place is a gem and we do not have enough places like this around anymore. Sasha is a wonderful young lady who is very talented with home decorating(enlisted her assistance with our remodeled home). very satisfied with the results and the reasonableness of her rates. Her place of business also carries some of the nicest things for gifts especially around the holidays. She is also very familiar with the neighboring businesses. Great place, must check it out!

I was very pleased to attend an art show for my Unilocal Friend & Partner in Dine Steph H. this evening and, what a great choice of ambiance by Steph H to do just that! This house turned eclectic mix has all of the chotskies, Olive Oil Vinegar, Teas etc, mixes and then some. Also, many unique, quaint and unusual items for just about everyone and every price range too. There are many things I’d love to have, need, desire and with much will power do without. Usually these ‘90s type of places have gone by the wayside and have been run out of town by places that have lower prices but, the ambiance matters to me when I’m investigating something special, especially a gift. The owner and her staff provide such wonderful energy and, even though the prices are not something I’m willing to pay I’m sure that there are many consumers who will and enjoy their purchases. Who knows, someday perhaps I just might be one of those individuals. Sasha Witte Design IS walking distance from my home, so that’s when I might need to hear this every time I’m tempted to return for anything other than special gift for a special person:

An update that was long overdue! Since my first visit to Sasha’s I’ve been back many times, mostly to pick up gifts for friends but also to have an art show. Yes, Sasha features artwork from local artists among her wealth of fabulous items! Speaking of fabulous, I just love browsing through this store; she always has cool and interesting things at reasonable prices. I’ve always gotten so many great compliments on the items I’ve gotten at this store – it’s a total local gem. Sasha herself is extremely personable and helpful, great qualities in a shopkeeper. And now with the addition Naja’s Tea Tasting Room, I’ll be visiting more than ever.

This review is for Sasha’s retail space, newly opened in a beautiful house on Broadway(her interior design business is in back). I spent my first few minutes with my hands clapsed behind my back, having mistaken this place for a look-but-don’t touch store, having inaccurately assumed that it was all pretty to look at, but that I couldn’t afford anything anyway. Oh how I was wrong. Not only does Sasha’s have gorgeous, unique, expertly-selected and thoughtfully displayed pieces for the home and kitchen, but the prices are surprisingly low for the quality of the merchandise. Sasha herself was running the store at the moment, and she was friendly, helpful, and warm – she made my partner and me feel welcome to browse her store for as long as we wanted; I knew she would offer guidance if asked, but I didn’t feel rushed or watched. The cookies and cider in the kitchen space were nice personal touches to make customers feel at home. I took lots of time looking around – and yes, touching everything. I ended up only buying a few small items on the first pass, but actually came back in the evening to pick up some amber glass tealight holders I had seen on my first trip to the store and couldn’t get out of my mind. The employee who helped us on that second round was just as friendly and wonderful – she gave us a good recommendation for dinner, which we happily followed. I have never been so enthralled with a store – I wanted to move in to the house/store, or hang out there all day, or get a job there, or just be friends with Sasha cause she was so nice. Is it worth moving to Long Beach for one home décor store? My partner liked the place so much, she was on board with my new enthusiasm: I insisted that when we buy a house together(ha! with what money?) we’re going to hire Sasha to do the interior design.
