Cheapest gas on Anaheim Blvd. in the Downtown Long Beach area. Consistently lower by like 15 cents compared to the location on Atlantic. The area is a little more run down than other gas stations. One pesky young guy is always hanging around asking for money but he doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable, in the sense that you fear for your safety. The attendant this last time was not too freindly but I caught her mid-​bite into a Snickers so maybe it was just bad timing on my part. A little smile would be nice considering it was early in the afternoon.

I used to live in Long Beach & when I did, I would come here for gas. Now that I no longer live here, if I’m in the city & I need gas, I still come here. (Inserts heart emoji) No more solicitors at this gas station location, if so, maybe very few of them, randomly, but not recently from what I can see. Good. Simple. Easy gas & go type of situation.

Typical shell. Right off the 710 freeway. Pump #5 sucks. Numbers on keypad don’t work. Usually have to go inside to complete transaction. Associates are friendly. Octane 89 is 3.49 right now.

One of the cheapest Shell stations in the area. This shell is a little hidden if you are coming from downtown LB. You can’t take the 710 north and exit because it will take you in the opposite direction of Shell. But if you are coming southbound, you can just exit off Anaheim, and it is right there.
There are usually hobo’s around asking for spare change. I usually go during the afternoon, I haven’t had anyone bother me.
