Sabrina was an ABSOLUTE joy to work with! Even though I wasn’t buying a mattress and was only acting as a sounding board, she was very attentive to my opinions and included me in the assessment of various mattresses. She definitely knows what she is doing and is driven to ensure that you pick the perfect mattress! I’ll definitely be coming to her when I’m ready for my next mattress

My wife and I were tired of my 11 year old mattress. We got our 18 month old son in the car and went to the Long Beach Sit ‘n Sleep on Saturday where we were greeted by Sabrina. She listened to our wants and lamentations of our current mattress and showed us a number of different makers and different mattresses of those makers. Sabrina did not pressure us in a purchase, she was very friendly and our son loved her. He even shared his snack puffs with her! Being a mother herself, she easily took to him and we felt comfortable in letting her keep an eye on him as we tried different mattresses and discuss them without any real interruptions. My wife had the more detailed list of wants, needs, and concerns. Sabrina answered all of them and really helped us narrow our search down to what we purchased the next day.
Our shopping experience with Sit n’ Sleep and Sabrina was such a great experience! I completely recommend everyone looking for a mattress to visit Sabrina. Sabrina took care of my needs literally as soon as I stepped in the door she found out what I was looking for, gave me 3 options, I found exactly what I wanted and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Had a great experience buying my husband and mines first mattress here. The store manager Shel Day helped us to pick out exactly what we were looking for with 2 people who have 2 different sleeping habits and preferences. When we were ready to buy Keith P. My husband and I were desperate for a new bed. While we had in mind what we desired we couldn’t narrow it down. Sabrina was heaven sent! She was ever so patient and listened to all our concerns, past and present, our wants and dislikes and after many a «test rides» on many a mattresses, including all the varieties of adjustable bed frames, we found the one that best suited our needs.
I have to say that my husband and I did quite a bit of research online prior to coming into the store and Sabrina was exceptionally up front and honest about all of the products. She took the time to discuss our sleepng habits, the difference in our physical size and how picking a mattress could affect me vs my husband.
The purchase itself was quick and easy, no gimmicks, no games. Sabrina made what had been in the past for us an unpleasant process, a very no nonsense, painless experience. Thank you for your expertise. Her dedication to her customers shows.

I purchased a mattress last weekend at this location. I walked in and was greeted by Sabrina. She was very personable, I told her exactly what I wanted and she took me to the perfect mattress. I laid on it and it felt perfect! She showed me other options but couldn’t compare. That mattress knew I was coming!!! I ended up buying the floor model and saved almost 600.00! Great job Sabrina! Will definitely recommend you guys. I received my new mattress on April 16^th. It was delivered by Roberto and Ramon. They did a great job and helped me move my old mattress also. I went to sit’n sleep about a month ago to look for a mattress for my new king bed. I walked in not knowing what to expect. Sabrina approached me and asked me some questions and put me on the electronic bed. This process is pretty easy since I basically just had to lay and watch the screen up ahead. When it was done Sabrina took me around to the mattresses that would most fit my needs (according to the computer). She was very patient and walking around with her was kind of like hanging out with one of my girlfriends not a sales person. I really enjoyed her and my experience. I was kind of indecisive at first but Sabrina never made me feel rushed. She showed me many options and then sometimes back to the first options until I found what I wanted. A true gem!

Sheldon was a great mattress salesman and helped walk my wife and I through our first in person mattress sale.
I was used to internet prices on the memory foams you get via overstock, but once laying on a sherwood gel-​infused high density foam mattress, I’m never going back.
Sheldon was able to help me get a good price on a king size model so it was great.

I just purchased my second bed from sit and sleep and I’m beyond satisfied with the quality and comfort of the mattress not to mention the outstanding service Sabrina provided, not only did she made this an easy purchase but an enjoyable one as well. Now I have 2 ½ year old baby who loves his big boy bed :) I will be coming back for my 3^rd soon!

Sabrina helped us find an adjustable bed frame for our existing Tempurpedic and she was terrific. She knew the product line and led us to perfect frame for us. We went in and left without buying. She asked us what she could do to make us purchase right then and there. We told her we had to think about it and she said she would give us a set price out the door and would keep that deal if we came back. She was a woman of her word. We came back later that day and made the purchase. It was the best price and quality that we could find. I highly recommend this store and ask for Sabrina.

My boyfriend and I were in desperate need of a new mattress. Keith helped us pick the perfect one. He asked us three important questions: 1. What our budget was 2. How we sleep 3. If we are warm sleepers. He then chose a couple of beds for us to lie on, all within our budget. He didn’t pressure us at all or made us feel uncomfortable. He definitely knows his stuff.
He gave us a great deal and I would definitely recommend this place out, and I would HIGHLY recommend you ask for Keith. He is awesome!

Went in to just try out some adjustable beds… left two hours later as the new owner of a split king Aireloome adjustable bed owner. Sabrina was incredible. She greeted us warmly at the door and kept her focus on our needs the entire time. My husband went in very skeptical about an adjustable frame bed… but he drank the koolaide about 45 minutes later. He was a hard sell at first but Sabrina welcomed the challenge and just kept dialing into his needs and… voile…it was done.
The store is well organized, clean and well kept. Bathrooms are clean and pleasant as well. I have never been to this location and found it great.
I would highly recommend Sabrina. She is a good listener, attentive to your needs and directs you to the best mattress to suit those needs. She warm and friendly as well as being very low pressure… no sales tactics here.

We came to this store in full «emergency mode». Here’s what happened— We purchased a very pricey $ 2,700.00 Tempurpedic queen mattress from their direct competitor, Orange County Mattress in Naples (Long Beach) back in July 2012. In January 2016, we discovered the bottom-​side of mattress had become a large «petri dish» which had been growing black, yellow and green mold (see pictures attached). We were literally freaked out to realize we had been sleeping on top of this dangerous and toxic mold for God knows how long. We are total clean freaks. We called OC Mattress in Naples and spoke to their manager, Phil, who did NOTHING except tell us we had to file a claim for this problem with Temur-​pedic directly, which we had already done. We also asked him what he would do in this exact situation and he responded.” I would keep sleeping on the mattress until you got replacement” ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
We knew we needed to purchase a new mattress immediately and since we were getting zero help or cooperation from Orange County Mattress in Naples, we immediately went over to Sit N Sleep in Long Beach. We were greeted by Keith Palafox. Upon explaining our situation and experience with how OC Mattress was handling our manufacturers claim still under warranty, Keith advised us they would have immediately given us a new replacement mattress, no and if’s or butts.
I have been Unilocaling for a long time, but I sincerely hope that my fellow Unilocalers reading this review will seriously consider NEVER doing business with Orange County Mattress. They do not stand behind their product warranties DIRECTLY but will waste no time shuffling you off to the manufacturer and taking zero customer service responsibility to replace the mattress while you remain without a bed– Here is what you must think about when considering what chain to purchase your mattress from:
1. Orange County Mattress Experience– You have a problem and/​or very serious problem like we had with our mattress, file a manufacture’s claim, wait 3 – 5 days for a response, then if they approve your claim wait another 7 – 14 days for a replacement mattress. Deal with management that is not empowered to make any significant decisions to help solve your service product complaint.

2. Sit N Sleep Experience— Purchase a mattress, have a problem with the manufacturers warranty and get immediate help and replacement satisfaction. Managment fully trained and empowered to make difficult decisions to assist their customers
