Subway

I do not care what anyone says. Subway has the BEST VALUE for a simple Sub. The Cold Cut meat is seasoned turkey bologna but everything else is REAL.

I come here at lunch. This is a very busy time due the proximity of LBCC and Boeing. I signed up for their discount text messages and it really comes in handy. The staff are usually very friendly and very quick. I had 8 people ahead of me and they got me through quick. 3 people behind counter all working with a great attitude.

I always come in here to get my regur tuna sandwich and I was with my cousin and we enjoyed our meal and it was lunch time, so it was a bit crazy. I wanted to buy some cookies to go so I stood in line for 5 mins until I was asked what kind of bread for my sandwich by a young lady named Ashley and I told her I just wanted cookies. She told me to ask the guy in the cashier so I walked over and each time he rang someone he didn’t bother looking at me and asking if I needed something or acknowledged the fact that I was there I waited 8 mins and he kept ringing customers and then a guy cut in line for just a drink and chips and he was like how much is it and I found that unfair how he rang him up when I was waiting before him and everyone and I still didn’t get help. And then I asked how long does it take for me to get cookies because I waited in line and I was told to ask you and then the lady asked what flavors and before I could pay he still rang the other customers before me and I just said. Nevermind this is ridiculous and im not one to always get cookies or throw a fit but I work in customer service as a manager and this was just horrible experience.

I’ve never had to complain about what I’m about to. This Subway smells horrible. I ate here a few minutes ago and drove down to Long Beach City College, my school. I’m here in the parking lot writing a review because I’m embarrassed to even go to class smelling like cigarette. I don’t even smoke and even if I did, I don’t think the smell would equal to how I smell.

First off this Subway smells awful. Whenever I order on my phone app to pick up they never get my order right. I’ll go out of my way to go to a different Subway location if I decide I want to eat Subway.

This subway is no different than any other. Unfortunately the proximity of the smoke shop next door makes me give this one a low ranking. It smells of smoke in the subway… not very appetizing to walk in a sandwich and smell cigar smoke instead of fresh baked bread.

This is an excellent Subway location. I’ve been here a few times. It gets busy around lunch time.
The staff here is very friendly and fast. They always get my order right.
This location is only a few blocks from Long Beach City College, so that makes it convenient for students to visit. Unfortunately, it closes at 9pm.
They have an electrical outlet next to one of their tables, so I plugged my laptop in today while I ate my sandwich. Epic.
It’s clean and bright and there is a comforting sign on the soda dispenser that says their water is filtered, so I opted for the free filtered water and it was rad.

All subways taste the same, but the service is always different. This place is conveniently located next to Starbucks, so I came in after my coffee run for some dinner. The service here is terrible. They basically just throw the ingredients onto the sandwich and hurry to get you out (even though truth be told. there was really no one in there). They’re also rude. They asked my brother to «speak up», but he was obviously already speaking as loud as he could. I guess I will go somewhere else for my sandwich needs.

Consistently good service and good food! I have probably been here close to 100 times in the last couple of years. It is my standby place to eat lunch at if I forgot to bring my own lunch to work.
Location: a few minutes from the LB airport and Long Beach City College. Right across Carson street from Boeing.
Staff: I think the core group of staff that I’ve seen over the past two years is great! That would be Alma, Jared and Joycelyn.
The only time I’ve ever had issues with an order, and it has only been a couple of times, it has been because of someone other than those core staff members.
Food: as good as any Subway I’ve been to. Fresh sub sandwiches with tons of choices!

First of all, I can’t believe that there are only 3 reviews for this location, since it is so close to LBCC. I have eaten here for a few years since I work down the street. As we all get tired of eating the same thing, I got tired of Subway. I haven’t been here for awhile, although my co-​workers eat here often. I ate here on Monday and got the Tuna sandwich. The tuna was great, although they skimp out on the veggies, the bread was nasty! Dry, no taste to it, fell apart. I think that they changed the bread, and excuse me but the bread is the biggest part of the sandwich and should taste good. Subway your out of there

I don’t know why I’m a pundit for punishment. Went here again to get breakfast and it still suck like it did last time I reviewed this place.
The $ 3 breakfast sandwich promotion that they have going on which is only served from 6AM to 9AM at this location??? That’s what I was told by the Subway worker Mayra.
I did some cold-​calling around and other Subway locations stop serving breakfast at 11AM. Something is not right about this.
I called back to this Subway and Mayra who picked up the phone told me I can call back to talk to the manager who is Blanca. I left my name and number and will see what happens, probably nothing wil be done.
As I’m typing this, the Manager Blanca called me back within 5 minutes and apologized for the confusion. Breakfast is served from 6AM to 11AM at this location.
She told me I can come in tomorrow to pick up a free breakfast sandwich!!!
Again, justice prevailed in this situation. Again, the squeaky wheel gets the oil.

I like to walk over in between classes and get a sub. I don’t know why but this certain location’s subs taste the best. Def my favorite in long beach. Customer service is ok, but what do you expect? It’s not fine dining. Delicious!

Got food poisoning!!! I used to be a Subway fanatic but this particular subway totally killed it for me. So nasty. Doesn’t even look that sanitary in there. No stars. F rating.
