The business is still there, but she has moved to a new location on the west side. Anyone looking to continue to get their nails done by Sue only has to go to Star Salon on Willow.

Sue and Flor are super friendly and accommodating. I always get a fantastic haircut from Flor, she is my go-​to. Great prices and great service!

I love this place. Flor really knows what she’s doing. I’ve been doing my hair with Flor for about one year now. She did my updo for my best friend’s wedding. She has dyed my hair on several occasions and she does my regular haircuts and I love since her work is great quality for the job. See I had been looking for a salon like this since I moved to the LBC 8 years ago. While there are quality salons around their prices are ridiculous. For this cheap girl Sue’s got exactly what I need within walking distance.
And James (he is usually there only Saturday) gives you the best pedicure. He’s thorough gives you a nice little massage and takes his time. If there is one thing I hate about manis and pedis is when they rush the work.
Overall for the price to quality ratio, I give this place 5 stars. Specially to Flor! Thanks ladies and James.

Have been looking for a good hair salon for about a year. Decided to come to this place based on the few but positive reviews I saw on Unilocal and its proximity to my home. The service was great! Flor cut my hair and she knew exactly what I wanted. I was completely satisfied with the whole experience. I will be definitely coming back to get a dye job.

My mom is the only person to make me feel like an actual girl. lol
So she takes me here, thinking I was only going to get a hair cut and a facial. But I ended up dying my own hair for only $ 45 including a free hair cut.
The person who did my hair, Flor; chopped off all my dead hair. about 3 inches & dying my hair a medium brown with blonde. Something more natural; without the harsh chemicals of bleach. I didn’t want to damage my hair anymore than I already have.
So without that being said, the service is amazing. They automatically started working on my hair as soon as I walked in. Asked me exactly what I wanted and walked me step by step on what they were going to do with my hair. Excellent customer service! I really appreciated everything they had done for me. Very friendly.
& the place is kept clean and vibrant! It kind of draws you into the place. Looking from the outside, it doesn’t stand out; due to the businesses surrounding the it. I would recommend this place for people who are interested in doing their hair.
Also, they do facials, waxing, and nails.
