Supercuts

This is a fantastic Supercuts! It’s not the closest Supercuts to my house but it is where Vuthy is. She is fabulous. She does a great job with hair and waxing. She remembers how you like your haircut, even when it has been awhile. The place is clean. There is parking. All the employees have been polite and helpful.

Good customer service! Short wait. I suggest Monica or Vuthy. Excellent hair dressers!

I would like to make an official complaint against 3 hair stylists working at the location on 01÷29÷16 around 6:45pm.I entered the salon and waited for 20 minutes and even tried to show I was not yet asked for my phone number. I was totally ignored by two Latino hair dressers. I made an eye contact with one of them when one customer was at the register, but it was no avail. She took another Latin customer and did not even ask why I was standing there. I have been patiently waiting and finally I was asked for my phone number after 20 minutes. Mind you that there were at most five waiting customers at a time including those who came after me, so there is no excuse for not recognizing me. After all I have been to the salon for past three years. Everybody should know me by now. But normally I do not make an appointment and I don’t take any preference for a particular hair stylist because in my opinion, their skills are pretty much the same, from the worst to a bit better. Unless you are another Latino customers, those two Latin hair stylists are not friendly at all. How could that be possible for not being asked for my phone number for first 20 minutes even if the customers who were before and after me made appointments with stylists. Shame on them, and they should deserve to be fired immediately for their totally discriminating and unfriendly attitudes. If that is your Corporate slogan to make such unfriendly attitudes and to show racial discrimination, I would never go to your stores ever.

Today (December 15, 2015) I went to get a haircut at this Supercuts I usually don’t get my hair cut but I wanted a change so I decided on Supercuts since it was super close. I went in with one of my roommates and as we walked in we were called up immediately. It was super quick and easy and the price was great considering the haircut was more than expected it was just great. Everything was super clean and neat. I will sure come here for me future haircuts.

With Richard his good because he always ask what style you want him to do to your hair. He cut hair clean and neat.

This is always an easy stop. I have always gotten in without a long wait, even if I walk-​in without an appointment. I always ask for Kathy and I get a lot of compliments on my hair.
Besides getting my hair cut, I like that the store is clean and there is always a good deal on products. The shopping center is busy but parking is easy.
I hope Kathy will be my stylist for years to come.

I would definitely rates this particular Supercuts 5 stars. From phone call and to make an appointment to the greetings as we walk in the door and my mother happy with the results of her cut and dye will definitely he coming back often.
I’m so sorry I forgot the gentleman’s name but I would describe probably about 5 – 10 he was wearing glasses very courteous. By the way this was about 2 weeks ago on a Saturday

I will NEVER go back to the Super Cuts in Seal Beach (PCH Marina Shopping) I had gone there once before and had a good haircut by Benny. So today I wanted to go for another. I called ahead (they take appt same day if it’s very soon). They said come in in 20 min. I did (honestly, I was about 3 min late). Benny was working on a young guy (in his 20’s). It looked like he was about done so I sat to wait. I waited 45 min while he trimmed, brushed, and blew air on the guy’s hair. I am NOT lying when I say… the guy had ¼″ long hair. When Benny did mine (about 20 times longer hair) it took him 5 min tops! I finally got up and left. Problem was, they were engaged in a nice conversation that Benny obviously wanted to continue. I thought that was very rude and unnecessary. Gonna shop for another place.

Esmerelda cuts my hair. She’s fantastic. Very nice. listens well to how I want my hair cut. Offers good suggestions. Since moving to the area, I’ve been to a half dozen stylists and barbers before meeting Esmerelda. She’ll be my stylist as long as she works at Supercuts.

I got the best cut I have had in some time .Esme was terrific, I showed her a picture and she took it from there. A great experience. I am a convert.

Richard was amazing! I have really short hair, and have been letting it grow a tad longer. But I (oops) colored it a couple of weeks ago, and wanted it shorter and spikier again, while I wait for the color to get out. So he cut it, and I put my own gel in, but I asked him if he’d make it even shorter. He was so gracious about it, and it is just fabulous! He is very mellow, easy to talk to, and does great work. Than you so much, Richard! And the store looks splendid!

Only place we could find open after 6pm. The man was awesome and allowed us to run in and get taken care of. affordable and looked great for the event.

Gotta little lady named Woo-​Ti. RESPECT! She was nice. Cut up my dome REAL GOOD. Did it lickity split, F’REAL! And that after cut clean up job doe… Nah mean?

It was a rather pleasant experience. She asked my preference during the cut, and was quite gentle. She didn’t awkwardly try to engage in small take either, which was nice. Probably because of my wicked lazy eye.

I have never had any problems getting a haircut here. Granted, my requests are always extremely simple, and my opinions on what a good haircut looks like almost nonexistent, but that kinda just makes it *harder* for them — I’m like, «give me a short haircut, just make it look good, use your judgement», and my wife, who does actually care about things like that, always says they do a good job of that request.
They’re always friendly, they always do a good job, I’ve never waited more than about 10 minutes, and extra bonus: the best Lee’s in Long Beach is next door. I’ve come here a bunch of times (I used to leave down the street, now I don’t, but that Lee’s is a good reason to come here anyway: p.)

Vuthy was awesome, she listened to me talk about the problems with my hairstyle, and helped me come up with something that looks great! I definitely recommend!

Went here because it was close. The lady asked me how short. I told her I usually get a #6 on the sides. She promptly took out a blade and started shaving the back of my head. «this is a three, it look better» she says, as she slowly shaves off all my hair on the sides. I now look like a marine, and the small bald spot on the side of my head (the reason I get a #6) is clearly visible. I have work tomorrow at a law firm. This may be the cruelest joke that’s been played on me yet. This place needs to learn that the customer is always right.

Great and fast local place to get a men’s haircut… high & tight!

Monday;;;Went to get a hair cut recently before I go to Vegas. Note that I only went here because it was close by! My hair was long, really long and I wanted a few inches trim and layers in the front. the lady didn’t dry my hair at the end so I couldn’t tell how my hair looked at all. I paid 16 $ and tipped 2 $…smh…when my hair dried on it’s own, it looked like I cut it myself with plain scissors! You know how when you’ve tried cutting your own hair and it just comes out hella straight edges and bulky at the end… Yeah… And my layers ! Weren’t even layers at all… Just the front hairs were a bit shorter. That is all… I regret this place. I will now look like the asian Dora the explorer. In Vegas, my first time. Fuck you guys. Btw I had an older Caucasian lady maybe 40 …
And then a couple days later I told my aunt about this sad story, she said if she knew I was going there, she would had told me not to go! She went there once and had to get her hair fixed somewhere else.
And the sad thing is, I know how to cut hair… Except I can’t do my own yaknow! Ughhhh

I started using Supercuts when my daughter was a toddler (eighteen years ago). And I continued to use Supercuts because I have met a few wonderful gem stylists at this location. And when I find a perfect match, I usually follow them around if they move to another Supercuts. With that said, my last stylist stopped cutting hair altogether.
So my search was on again to meet another Gem. It was early in the afternoon on a weekday, no wait and no one after me. Lucky for me.
I have straight shoulders length heavy lots of hair. I told the woman I wanted and inch off, She didn’t say a word. She proceeded to clip apart, at this time, she dropped the hair clip, never picked it up, instead she kicked it under the table with so much force, I got nerves! She must be having a bad day, I thought.
Next, She took another clip and grab half of my hair and clipped it on top of my head and preceded to cut the bottom section. One single clip for so much hair? I really was worry then!
In less then seven minutes she was done cutting. When I looked at my hair, the right side was shorter then the left!!! When I asked her to fix it, she said to me «next you will be asking me to cut the other side, when this side is too short» I was flabbergasted! forget about cross checking! I don’t think she knows what that is! I didn’t dare to ask her.
OMG, what unprofessional, moody woman! She said she has been cutting hair for 26 years! If that’s the case: To use Tabatha Coffey phrase — Esmeralda has become «lazy and complacent»

I am a regular at this salon. I usually go in about every three weeks to get a haircut (my hair is on steroids… it grows way too quickly). The service there is always amazing. The stylists are always up for cheerful banter, and I feel at home when I wait for my haircut reading a magazine.
One that sticks out there is Richard who is the manager. I always wait for him. He lays attention to detail and I have no fear of letting him take the reins on my hair. I have had two different colors done by him as well as many cuts, and he always does an amazing job. I don’t know who this Maria girl is but homegirl needs to lighten up and treat people like human beings, she doesn’t make a sex figure salary, she is some house mom from San Pedro who probably has fake tan and a horrible figure (yeah I went there).
Love this place and am loyal for life
