The B. Store

Cute store and I would love to go back but the customer service is severely lacking. I purchased an adorable purse which I loved but the clasp broke. I went back to the store and they said they could send it to the manufacturer to have it repaired. I was told they would call with a status as soon as they heard. I never heard from them. I visited the store to see what the status was and they said they would contact the manufacturer again and give me a call with status. I never heard from them. A couple months later I stopped by AGAIN and they said they would contact the manufacturer and give me a call with status. I never heard from them. At this point I am giving up and I paid for a purse which I cannot use because it was sent back to the manufacturer, never to be seen again. At least if I had the purse I could have taken it somewhere more reliable and actually had it fixed.

I walked in to this lovely boutique the other night while on a business trip, feeling a little blah and missing my husband.
I was about to just look– not try anything on and then leave — Then the most amazing thing happened… I met a nice man with beautiful long flowing hair who took my breath away! He really turned my night around! He pulled me out of my slump both in my current boring fashion sense and the slump I was feeling from being away from home.
He pulled out things I would never think to try on and encouraged me to just give them a try. The result is I found many new styles that I would have never thought of myself. I found a new me!
At the end I was so happy with the experience I gave him a hug. I will definitely be back when I have to travel to Long Beach for work. I wish there were more people working in the fashion business with your wonderful demeanor and knowledge.
Thank you — I don’t know your name– you made my day and maybe my entire week with your upbeat personality, kindness and patience. I learned a lot that night about style.

Great store to buy fashionable blouses, dresses, purses, jewelry and other accessories. The added bonus is that most of the garments are MADE IN THE USA! Prices are reasonable and quality is high. Staff is always helpful and not aggressive. Shop here to buy great clothes that wasn’t made in some faraway land by underpaid/​overworked laborers and didn’t have to be shipped thousands of miles.

Occasional cute find… but HORRIBLE return policy and customer service.

Whether shopping for funeral or wedding attire this place always has what I’m looking for and I get tons of compliments on the dresses. Thank God for the sweet guy that works here that has great taste because I need the direction. He always has great ideas and will even help you alter your dress a little if you need a tighter fit.

the tranny helping me was sweet. or the girl with the mans voice lol liked their necklaces but they had no prices. the store smelled like mothballs and had d fashions my grandma would wear. no thank you

cute clothes/​accessories. typical what i like to call sorority gear store– pastels and shear blouses all year round! which i personally love. its a bit «brighter» than the other stores on the block ie laurenly and francesca’s. A little deterred by the fact that i really don’t like being jumped on by sales people when i walk in or being given millions of suggestions while i’m changing. i know its meant in good nature but you can definitely be a good sales person without being suffocating.

While there was a limited selection on statement jewelry, the gentleman did help me find the perfect necklace for a simple black dress. He seemed very knowledgeable in what flatters different body types as I observed how he helped other women.

I recieved as a christmas present last year 2 $ 50 gift cards, the person who gave them to me has shopped here alot and knows the owners and their policy. I called before I went and asked the lady who answered the phone if I could use older gift cards (which did not have an expiration date on them) and she said yes. So I went in and shopped around and found a few things, finally after getting pushed towards purchasing everything in the store, I was ready to pay. Then as I handed my 2 gift cards to the man he told me that he couldnt scan them, and the best he could do was give me 30% off the purchase and told me that I could think about it and come back. So after a few hours I decided to go back in, I was greeted by the same man and he asked if we were ready to purchase those items, and I went into decribing that they have to accept the gift cards if they have no expiration date on them. He «tried» to scan it, as I could clearly tell he was not, and told me he had to call the owner. I sat there for 30 minutes without being told what was going on and how long I had to wait, finally after several very SHADY events, he told us that he wasnt sure when the owner would get back to him and that he could only give us a discount on our purchase. So I walked out VERY unhappy and determined to get this settled. I have experience working retail and I have never let a customer walk out unhappy, that is not how a smart business works. I will never be shopping here again, and I will not let anyone that I know shop here.
After getting home I researched it and it is a California State Law that you have to honnor gift cards that have no expiration date on them.

I absolutely love this store! The beautiful display of purses at the front of the store attracted me to enter. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by wonderful staff and a collection of affordable and gorgeous dresses! I normally don’t wear dresses, but Icy and another staff member were extremely helpful and started selecting dresses to assess my style of clothing. Icy placed everything in a dressing room and made my husband and daughter feel really comfortable by asking them to sit down on and be ready for the front row show. It means A LOT to me whenever a store makes me and my family comfortable, so good job Icy! Every time I tried on a different dress, Icy was present and gave me suggestions on how to wear the dress (i.e., what shoes to put on, how to accessorize, how to dress up for work, etc). Icy did so well with his suggestions; he made me feel like he was my personal shopper. I walked out of the store with multiple clothing items. I have never owned/​worn a long dress, and I am thankful for Icy’s suggestions. I will definitely return with friends and family. This was such a fun shopping experience!

Went in before a trip and got 3 adorable dresses. I would never have picked them out on my own so I really appreciate the styling!

LOVE this place! I was attending a formal black tie event and needed a flashy evening bag that was unique. I found it here! It is a black square bag with gold spikes and gold brass knuckle closure! Accented with skills that are adorned with crystals! GORGE!

If you’re on 2^nd street, you have to stop in to this place! More than just choosing clothes off of a rack. You get a full stylist experience. Icy helped me choose so many incredible pieces that now I can wear color with confidence! No more black for me :)

I stopped here after getting my hair done down the street by Jacquei at Sheer Pleasure– another great, local business. The associate greeted me and let me browse for a few minutes, then told me more about the store. Honestly, if he hadn’t been so genuinely passionate and helpful, I wouldn’t have stayed. I assumed I would have to window shop here like I do in many of the over-​priced boutiques in Belmont. However, I was made to feel like someone special. All of his attention was on me and helping me find the dress I needed for my formal occasion. Once I explained the type of place I was going and the style I had in mind, he put me in the dressing room and brought lots of things to try. I told him that I normally pick my clothes based on how the mannequin is dressed, because I have no sense of style. He showed me how to style each dress I tried and helped me feel confident in my final choice. Besides having tons of variety and awesome staff, The B Store has a crazy return policy! If you ever decide you don’t want your dress, bring it in and exchange it for another! That’s awesome! I really like my dress, but I am keeping this return policy in mind :)

I had dinner with a friend on 2^nd street and we went street shopping and ended up in this store. They sell relatively affordable womens accessories, handbags and clothes.
I ended up buying a scarf for my friend, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have plenty of chairs to sit down and relax. From what I understand, I think they sell men’s clothes at their other LBC location

My sister and I were last minute shopping for her 21^st birthday party dress for that night, so we were on the hunt for something CUTE and something QUICK. We literally could not have found the perfect dress while having such an enjoyable experience if it wasn’t for Icy’s great personality and expertise! As soon as he got an idea of what we were looking for he got right to it, picked a handful of options, and sent my sister to the dressing room. Literally the first thing she tried on (the dress that he recommended she tried first) was, in his words, was BOOM! It was THE dress. My sister had been so stressed out and was not having any fun dress shopping until we got to The B Store and had such a great experience with Icy. He made her feel so special and excited for her party that night.
So, besides our great experience, the store itself is PERFECTION. The B Store is a sample store, so it doesn’t have two of the same item and every piece is unique. Although I live it Whittier, The B Store will be the first place I go to for a special occasion or a night out. I’m obsessed!

This place is super trendy and has a lot of cute affordable clothing. I recently purchased a necklace which was a small gift for my boyfriends sister and she loved it. I am always greeted warmly by staff and really like this place if you are looking for something unique but still cute at the same time.

This is a one of a kind store, for real. There is not one duplicate item. A few items come in a few different colors, but 99% of the clothing is unique and novelty. The best part is the young man who works there. Perhaps his name is Loan, but he is not the owner. The owner seems very nice and passes through now and again with a welcoming smile while his top salesman works his magic. If you ever feel like you need to fluff up your wardrobe and give it some life and lift, this is your store. For around $ 45 per item, you are going to get a piece that will be complimented constantly while you wear it out. The gentleman who sells the clothing (I regret not being certain of his name) really cares and knows what looks good on me and knows the clothing so well he can pull from hundreds of garments something suitable for me each time I go in there. He has the knack to be one of those consultants one goes to for a whole new image. Plus he knows exactly what is in the store at all times. And believe me, there are at least two hundred different garments hanging neatly at all times. Just let him know what you like and he will have you going crazy trying to figure out which dresses etc you can’t take home.

All items are very unique and reasonable!
I love the return policy too, just bring it back!
