Love this place! Great food! Great service by our waitress Cheyenne! We will be back as regulars! It is so nice out on the patio enjoying the view on the water.

Location is great, unfortunately the food and service is not good at all. I would dine here often if they would get their act together. I will need to keep searching for good food near water.

My wife and I love this place after one visit. 8 oz fish fillets instead of the paltry 4 oz at the usual places; fresh fish, fresh bread, fresh appetizers; all capped by a delightful serving staff and a view to die for! We will be back. Ask for Austin — great service.

The staff here is very kind and are very tentative. The food, was okay. My boyfriend and I shared one of the pot deals and I was not too impressed. –Most of the shells were empty. –The shrimp was over cooked –way overpriced You are pretty much paying for the location. I’ve gone to other places that specialize in seafood, particularly the Cajun pot style deal. They have been very tasty and are half the cost. I mean the food isn’t that terrible just makes it seem that way because you are paying so much for what you’re eating.

The crab pot is a nice place with plenty of parking. I came here with my family and we were not disappointed with the food. The service however was a different story. We ordered a few bags of seafood. There was a lot more corn and potatoes than we were expecting but there was still plenty of seafood. We ate less than half of the vegetables because there was a lot of it. It was all good though. Service was very slow, which was surprising because the place wasn’t busy at all. It took forever to get drinks and our initial order in. But again, the food was really good.

Used to come here quite a bit. One of the places we would take our out of state visitors. The last couple times over a year were below sub-par to say the least. Thought we would not ever go back. But, we thought would try again due to wanting some scenery and enjoy the weather. Hoping maybe it got better. Came in with the intentions of eating an appetizer, couple full meals and order drinks. Ordered the clam steamers, WOW! What a let down! If they are not of quality don’t serve them or add more. Something… I understand they have no control over the size of the clams. But to pay that much for broth basically and not given bread on the side without charging us. Kinda felt robbed. There was no enjoyment, none! Clams should be fun! Needless to say we decided to go else where for dinner. After already spending almost $ 50.00.(2 Coors lights, 2 specialty cocktails and steamers and a loaf a bread) Service was ok. It was shift change so the staff was more interested in talking to each other. We sat at the bar being the place was pretty much empty. As much I hate to say it. We will not be going back. Totally bummed :-(:-(:-(:-(:-(:-(:-(:-(:-(:-(

One of my favorite places to go. My husband and I have been coming for years. I can’t believe I am barely leaving a review for Crab Pot. We always come for happy hour. Great drink specials and good food offers. Also they have a $ 3 food cart from 4−7p weekdays(different food depending on day). Plates used to be $ 1 but people were taking advantage… shame. We always sit outside near the bar for happy hour, you can also sit right inside by the bar to get the same happy hour specials. Service is always good, however during summer it gets very busy and wait time for drinks and food is always longer. A couple weeks ago I had my bridal shower there and it was great! They were very accomodating and let us take over a section and even put up décor. It was a Friday evening so we got happy hour.

Server was very iformative on The Crab Pots vast menu and options and he gave excellent suggestions. Cocktails are Made well and priced well. The food was very good. The location was nice. They have a really nice deck outside on the deck that overlooks the water. I am from Arizona but next time I am in town I will visit again.

Amazing view, especially at sunset! However, the food is not great and the service is awful :( We had the clam chowder in a bread bowl. The soup was ok, but the bread was really hard. Considering that their food is rather overpriced, I would expect better. And the service is just soooooo slow!!! It takes forever to get a drink, even when they’re not very busy. I watched the two bartenders at the bar and they literally moved like sloths. Ok not literally, but they were just moving super slow. This place needs a big overhaul in management of its staff. Could be run way better!

My friend has been telling me about The Crab Pot for over a year. She said the seafood was good and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We went here for our Pre-Valentine. We asked to be seated outside, despite the fact that it was a cold night. They had heaters, so it wasn’t too bad. The service was impecable. Our server, was very attentive and made sure that we were taken care of. We had the oyster shooter and clam chowder as our appetizer. The shooters were delicious. I could’ve had a dozen. You can taste the freshness and sweetness of the oyster. We ordered the Clam bake, which I thought could’ve had more crab and less clams and mussels. The seafood was seasoned perfectly. It wasn’t too spicy, unlike some other places. We will certainly be back.

I come here EVERYSINGLEYEAR for my birthday. I feast on crab which is my favorite. King crab, Dungeness crab, snow crab, clams, muscles, shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn! Pair it with a blue moon on tap! When it’s your birthday they give you a complementary rhubarb loaf cake, enough to share with the whole table ! For an appetizer you must try the oyster shooters! The clam chowder is really good as well. Crab pot has never let me down. Much love for this amazing joint On top of the food, service is great, staff is friendly, view & ambiance is just the icing on the cake!

My husband & I went out with some friends last week. I was craving for SEAFOOD! So we decided on the Crab Pot on a Friday night. There was very many people there. Literally no wait at 7pm. I was disappointed. I was expecting it to be real TASTY like Boiling Crab & Wild Crab. I didn’t know it was DRY served with just butter and lemon.(as its suppose to be served) it was extremely pricey, and food got cold quickly. The bread and butter was delicious. But I wouldn’t come here again. Service was ok. Next time I’m staying local :)

Seating: Indoor(bar or restaurant) and outdoor seating is available. I selected outdoors and the sunshine and scenery was a great backdrop. The flies that immediately swarmed the table when the food was served was not a welcome addition to our dining experience. Food: Honestly, even though I told my young wait staff that the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken was delicious-it wasn’t. But, my dining partner(who is also my work supervisor), took a few bites of the crab and just had to send it back. She requested a different breed, it was promptly served, and she said it was fine. There’s an extra charge for the sourdough bread and butter, and I wish I didn’t order it. The side dishes(steamed veggies and rice pilaf) served with the crab did not look appetizing and was left untouched by my dining partner. Service: The young server was excellent. There were only a hand full of guests, so I can’t comment on what the service would be like when filled. Bottom line: I guess it’s a must-see and try requirement for tourists, but once is enough for me.

If you enjoy smashing things with a hammer and eating with your hands, then this place is for you! Though it can get a bit pricey, the experience is really a lot of fun on a date or with groups of people. The specialty of the house: a large bowl of steamed seafood is thrown on your table, which you then eat with the aid of a large wooden hammer and your wits. Just make sure to watch your aim so pieces of seashell don’t go flying across the room! They also offer bibs for everyone in the party. I would recommend accepting one because things can get messy, and rather quickly. There are different types of steamed bowls you can order, which may include potatoes, corn on the cob, clams, mussels, fish and different types of crab legs. All of the food is steamed fresh-to-order and is typically cooked just right. It is moderately seasoned with various spices including salt, pepper, and what seems to be paprika. While you wait for your order, they serve freshly baked sourdough bread, which is awesome. There is a full bar available with any kind of drink you could want. My favorite thing to order from this place is the L.A. Water. It’s big and gets the job done! I’ve been coming here for years and have yet to have a bad time with the food. It’s all really good. As far as location goes, the restaurant is situated right on the water, and has nice views of the boats and marina. There is an outside seating area as well. Coming here around sunset is particularly nice, especially when the weather is warmer and all of the colors are in the sky. Around Christmastime, all of the houses and boats are decorated with lights which look very cool at night. This location also has a pretty awesome bar and fire pit area outside, which can be a neat place to hang out during the evenings and weekends, particularly during happy hour. If you haven’t been here before, I would recommend it.
