The UPS Store

I just went in for two simple Amazon returns. My boxes weren’t taped closed and my labels weren’t affixed. They did everything for me. I felt bad and was trying to tape my boxes with their tape, etc., but the young lady helping me offered to do all of it.
It was only two boxes, but I felt bad that she was doing everything for me. That’s excellent customer service. I hope this review expresses my thanks for them being so nice and helpful.

Definitely a 5 star business locally. Someone always there for great and outstanding service be it notary, packing, postal service. Their services do come with fees but their excellent customer service makes those fees acceptable. I highly recommend this local business to anyone who still wants great service.

I called saying I needed to open up a ups mailbox and was told it was $ 60 for three months… So I waste my time driving over to find out they require proof of residence matching a government ID. This was not disclosed to me over the phone. Not everyone randomly carries this around. They also then magically added on a $ 20 set up fee and a $ 10 key deposit fee and the price was $ 66/​3mo not $ 60.

These guys are the absolute best UPS store I’ve been to in Southern California. Very efficient, courteous and respectful. Make sure to ask for the store manager Bobby to help you, he always goes out of his way to make sure everything of mine is handled and taken care of.

I was helped efficiently when I tried to send back a defective computer. I enjoyed the worker’s charismatic approach when he helped. The shipping was reasonable and my experience was nice. They offer other stuff like printing and scanning at prices even cheaper than my college. I was happy with their service and way of helping.

Today I brought a in a USB drive to print a one-​page B&W copy. FedEx lets me plug my USB directly into the copy machine for free, which is a typical option at copy stores. I was told I would have to pay a $ 2.50 fee to use my USB or pay a $ 1 fee to email it to the store.
Is this place privately owned by a money monger?

Very professional, friendly service. Based on some of the reviews was concerned about their Notary service. Found this service to be top notch and thorough.

The best UPS store I’ve ever been to! Literally just left the store and knew I needed to write a review immediately based on our experience.
My boyfriend and I were running late for an Angels game and needed to print our tickets, it was 6:22 and we run up to the door to find that this store closes at 6:00! The staff saw our puppy dog faces and rushed us inside to print our tickets before their computers shut down. They easily could have turned us away since they were closed, but their swift and kind customer service saved us from being late to our game! It’s always a pleasure to feel like someone cares about my needs and goes above and beyond to meet them, and this Fed Ex definitely did that. Thank you so much!

As soon as I walked in an employee with a goatee was talking shit about a customer that just walked out. it’s been over 5 minutes and he’s still complaining about the customer. I don’t know about you, but that’s not a good look. Customer service from another employee was fine, but why would you have employees that bad-​mouth customers openly like that, let alone in front of other customers? Get rid of that dude. 6÷02÷15 @ 2pm btw. YA YOU ON BLAST, YOU BUSTER.

I don’t usually leave Unilocal Reviews but having worked in retail for over 10 years I have to give credit where credits due. I needed to mail a birthday gift for my friend who lives out of state. I usually go to a local UPS near my house but I was out in Long Beach that day and decided to stop by this location. The guy that helped me at the counter took his time and explained all the shipping options. Service was fast, friendly and efficient!

STAY AWAY!!! WORST UPS STORE. They were «re-​modeling» and got there 2 hours before they closed and there doors were locked but they opened up to take a lady’s package but when I tried to give my «pre-​paid package» right after her he said no and gave me an attitude and was told to drive 8 miles to another store and told me to Unilocal it and their employee was confrontational and Rude. Worst experience ever and don’t even know how this store is still open. Will never come back and hope they go out of business. Horrible employees with no respect for the customers who keep them in business. STAY AWAY! Scumbag employees

Customer service is usually ok. Today wasn’t different but, the employee failed to tell me the price for scan to email. So he proceeded to help me. When it came time to ring me up 121 pages of scan documents came too $ 72.59. At .59cents a page that nobody disclosed to me. Even the employee was outraged and asked his fellow employee «Is this right? «. The employee said «yup». This is outrageous and ridiculous.

Absolutely the WORST experience Iv ever had. I needed to ship some very expensive speakers to Miami. I brought them to this UPS store and paid for the store to package and ship them, costing me $ 300. I also made sure to buy the insurance because of the value of my package. When they arrived to the destination they were completely beat up. No big deal, I understand things happen, that is why I purchased the insurance in the first place.
Now the trouble begin. I contact the store to file a claim and have my money returned to me for the damaged product. At first the store staff was very helpful and worked with me to file my claim. They continued to help me until they realized that they were going to be the ones responsible for honoring my insurance, and paying me for the damage. UPS wasn’t going to take responsibility for the claim because the item had been packaged poorly, which again I had paid the store to package them for me so the responsibilty laid with them. Then it turned into a cat and mouse game of them trying to avoid and delay paying me. It took almost 2 months of me making weekly phone calls trying to figure out when I would get my refund. Finally I started physically going to the store so I couldn’t be ignored.
There last attempt to not pay me had to be the worst display of business Iv ever experienced. The owner of the store had his PARENTS pull me into the corner and try and guilt me into not making them refund me! They laid a sob story on me about how I was taking there retirement money. It was so uncomfortable and unprofessional. SIDE NOTE (I am visibly pregnant and this money is for my maternity leave)
So long story short DO NOT ship anything important from this location. They will do anything they can to not honor the insurance you purchase on your package.
— Also they WAY overcharge for every transaction they do. Very money hungry and dishonest people.

When you make a large amount of color copies and the counter girl says, «I dunno, like 20 cents» when you ask how much color copies are, it comes as an unpleasant surprise when they are actually 49 cents. This more than doubles my expected price and the girl didn’t feel this was important enough for her to mention, even when you are paying ask, «wait, that’s like 50cents a copy» and she just mumbles under her breath. Is is that hard to find staff that is either knowledgable OR friendly? I won’t be back. I hope you guys aren’t paying this girl more than minimum wage.

Excellent customer service! I was so impressed at how helpful they work. I wish I could remember the name of the nice girl that helped me. She was so friendly and attentive. She made sure to find the most affordable options for me, and had me checked out right away. What a great location!

The customer service at this location is outstanding. I’ve never had to wait long. I use
to order textbooks, and they use UPS shipping for returns. I come in with my textbook and my ripped up envelopes/​boxes and my packing slips and who knows what else, and someone always takes everything out of my hands with a smile and a receipt and I know that it will arrive safely. And it always has!
I used USPS ONCE to return a textbook, and I never will again! I know it’s a government agency so it’s a whole different ball game, but UPS is just a delight, as opposed to the harassed-​looking & cranky postal service workers. Heading over there today! Thanks, guys.

They have impeccable customer service. Julie (the owner) is super caring and hires staff that share her attentive and outgoing approach. It gets busy during evening hours and there can sometimes be wait then, but this is just the nature of a small local UPS store: you can only fit so many employees in there at one time.
I have a PO Box there and they often remember which box # I am as soon as I walk in the door.
