This place was just average. Went here in a whim because I heard they had amazing breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the B.E.S.T SANDWICH and a monster smoothie. The sandwich was good, nothing crazy special about it but it was good. The breads needed to be toasted but that’s my only complaint. The smoothie however was pretty good. For the 5 bucks I paid it was a good size and it tasted pretty yummy. My only complaint would be that the workers here looked miserable and like they hated their job. I felt like it was doom and gloom in there. I’ll definitely be back for the smoothie, maybe not the sandwich.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops EVER(and I lived in coffee-capital Seattle most of my life). The shop has a very chill vibe, no pretentious café goers or workers. Cool music depending on who’s working. They consistently make delicious coffee and lattes(prolly my favorite vanilla latte I’ve ever had; perfect combo of milk: sweet:coffee ratio). They have a huge food and drink menu for a café and it’s all reasonably priced. I’ve had a few of their bagel and crissont sandwiches and wraps, all very tasty. Do your taste buds a favor and support small local businesses and go here! :)

Great customer service. Tuna sandwich is ok to much mayo for me and asked for wheat and got sourdough. Will be back soon.

Worst place ever! The quesadilla had broiled chicken. We will not go back. The tortilla soup seemed like it was out of a can with tortilla strips strewn on top of it.

Salmon Lox Bagel — I love lox bagels, and you just can’t go wrong with one. The capers were a bit too salty, so I’d ease up on that next. Cold Brew Black Coffee — Excellent, not too strong, and without any acidic after taste. Wasn’t very bitter either, so I’d recommend to someone who doesn’t like bitter coffee. The caffeine was probably weaker though as I didn’t feel as jittery as I usually do with black coffee.

Visiting Long Beach from Seattle, was looking for a small place to grab a quick breakfast and I saw this place while walking by. It’s nothing fancy from the outside/inside. But the menu looked good. Ordered one of their bagel sandwiches and so did my brothers and we each thoroughly enjoyed them. Great tasting ingredients and filling. I’ll probably come back before the end of my stay here.

Great local coffee shop and baked goodies made in-house. Though small, it’s got great character, with a casual/quiet social atmosphere. Everyone who works here is friendly. I’ve tried many different items from the menu and always been satisfied with it! Even though I live across town, I will go out of my way to skip the chain coffee shops to stop in here. It’s a bonus that is right next door to City Grounds!

Mocha — 3.5÷5 Pumpkin bread — 5⁄5 Tuna melt −4.5÷5 Nice café shop to chill and have an afternoon snack which is exactly what I did. A nice place to have close to my hotel. Definitely glad I stopped by!

Great for a quick, filling, delicious breakfast. I was super stoked to find this place on our way to the Aquarium of the Pacific one Sunday morning. Their coffee and breakfast burritos hit the spot and were exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking for a quality breakfast but don’t have time for a sit down meal, this is your place!

This place offers up a bohemian/hipster vibe with lots locals hanging out every morning in line for thier prized coffee. Sit inside or out and kick back with a cup of joe all the while contemplating your day, finishing your novel, or catching up with the news. Definitely a great spot to enjoy yourself. Try their fabulous chai tea.

11/15/20152:30pm Worst service ever. Worst attitude. The cashier treated all patrons like they owe her a million dollars. She didn’t wash her hands after handling cash and went on to prepare food. It’s extremely unsanitary. Then she coughed on her sleeves. So gross!!!

Terrible, terrible service. There was one other customer at a table when I walked in. No acknowledgement. Nothing. Went straight to the counter to look at the menu and after a minute she looks up at me, not uttering a word, as if to say«How can you inconvenience me now?» I ordered a sandwich and a smoothie. She literally threw the bag of sandwich on the table like it was newspaper delivery. I didn’t ask for takeout but I guess she wanted me out. Smoothie was tasteless and the sandwich had chicken bone and cartilage. I got up and left and, again, no thank you nor a wave nor a glance. Terrible.

I was waiting outside the door for this place to open. When it turned 6am, the door opened up and I was greeted with a smile! I can only imagine how it feels for an employee to open the door of business right at 6am to see some traveler hanging out waiting to get inside for some delicious goodies. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte, and used the awesome free drink upgrade for checking in. Nice! I also ordered the Best Damn Bagel with all kinds of goodness to it. Sounded like a perfect way to start my day in Long Beach! The Latte is fantastic! Gets you right in the mood for fall. Coming from Michigan, it is the perfect reminder of cooler weather on the way. No need for a hoodie here in warm California. The bagel is really nice too. Different with the dill. But that’s California. Great little shop, and I will be back tomorrow morning!

Definitely a place to come and eat this place is not hostage to the noisy chain restaurants where speed is the main concern. Place is quiet, clean, and had a cool breeze today despite it being 90° and HUMID. If you like being left alone to enjoy your lunch, and refuel your mind, this is the place for you. I had the tuna melt. Couldnt have asked for a better sandwich. Chunks of tuna, not flakes. Drowned in mayo, if you like it wet. Veggies were good also. Sourdough was toated just right. Actually made me want to not go back to work. But let’s face it, we all have to. I will definitely be back!

Cozy, homey set-up combined with friendly service and solid coffee drinks. A coffee shop you can feel comfortable in. I look forward to returning the next time I’m in the area. One sip of my Horchata Latte blend and all I could say was dang. Yumm-o. Perfect treat for your taste buds and points on the unique flavor factor. Can’t forget about the free size upgrade with Unilocal check-in. Also, you get a complimentary coffee drink if you show them your review. Nice [check out my screenshot]

Tasty sandwiches and good coffee and inexpensive. A great place to stop for a snackeroo or a jolt of caffeine. We ordered the tuna melt(so good, a must) and the turkey chipotle sandwich(exactly as it sounds and not as good as the melt). We gobbled those down with a cold brew and a flat white. For all of this and a bag of chips, it was just $ 20. Most sandwiches are under $ 7 and coffees are very reasonably priced. This place also has a nice selection of little snacks like granola bars, chips, etc. They also do smoothies and fresh juices, and have a nice assortment of non-alcoholic drinks in their fridge(kombucha, fancy ginger beer, odwalla juices).
