I have been looking all over Orange County for a high quality natural looking wig after chemo treatments. This is the best place I have found. In Long Beach… Quality, wide selection and decent prices. Very kind owners as well.

I’m new to wigs and had no idea what I needed. The owners helped me find one that suited me and looked really natural. They also trimmed it for me. I’m very happy and will recommend them to my friends.

Don’t be mislead by the 5 star Unilocal reviews! Those reviewers must be family or close friends. The couple that run this shop are the opposite of patience, if anything you need to be patient with them. When I visited their shop on 11÷21÷15, I explained that I was new to wearing wigs and I needed their help. After I tried on about 2 wigs and wasn’t happy with the look on me, the couple began to become irritated while rolling their eyes and giving me mean looks. This behavior from them continued, when I got to the 4^th wig, the wife who had been assisting me turned around angrily and walked away. I told them, I can see you both are becoming impatient with me and they didn’t deny it. The husband stated «its not so much as impatient, you are giving us mixed messages. First you tell us you want a wig with curls, now you are looking at wigs with no curls.» I explained that I was new to wearing wigs and I really don’t know what I want. I want something that fits my face and looks good on me. I strongly believe most customers would’ve walked out, but instead I used patience with them and endured their awful treatment towards me until I found a wig I was satisfied with. I wondered why the wig shop was empty and not one customer came in the entire 50 min I spent in their shop. I now know why it was empty because they don’t have patience with customers and they literally allow their customers to see their annoyance and frustration. Then to top it off, the wife stated they were born again Christians, obviously they are infantile Christians that have no idea about the fruit of the Spirit — Patience. Also, they argued with one another half of the time I was in their shop. To say the least, I will not be returning due to the horrible customer service. I can’t believe I still bought a wig from them but I can say that my patience was definitely tested and I passed the test. I did receive compliments from several people regarding the wig I chose so that is the bright side of my dark experience at the Wig Factory.

I went in today and the male owner was veerrryyyyy helpful. I’ve never worn a wig but it’s something new that I wanted to try. I have a short pixie cut so I chose about 4 wigs to try on. To try on the wigs, you must purchase a simple cap for $ 2. No biggie. Remember this is to prevent any hygienic issues.
Don’t worry about the color when choosing a wig, but the style. They have multiple colors for you to choose from within that style.
The owner gave me much insight on how to care for the wig and answered all my questions. The price of the wig I chose was only about $ 55.00. The store is divided in sections: one for wigs $ 100 and over and the other for anything less. I also purchased the leave-​in conditioner which was another $ 5.00.
Overall, I loved my experience here and would definitely come back for more. Definitely recommend! Pictures to come later…

Lydia and Art are great and I have known them for quite some time. The shop is conveniently located on 7^th street in Long Beach with easy parking. They have a good selection of quality wigs at competitive pricing and she will order what you can’t find. Lydia is great with wigs and I have bought many from her with no compaints. They are TG friendly and very supportive.

They were great! I was looking for a fun wig for a bachelorette party… they helped me try on many and were very patient. Should I ever need another wig this will be my first stop. great selection!

Just dropped in to kill some time while waiting on a prescrition… fell in love with this place. Art the ownwer was fantastic. Being a 1^st time buyer he made a few sugestions. Tried on a couple of wigs walked out with a short sassey style & a new attitude.

Went in and visited today to get a wig to let my hair rest from all the processing it’s been going through! First time wig user, they were very helpful and honest on getting me started on my first wig, I will defiantly be back again!

I was brought in to this store because I was looking to get a wig for my Halloween outfit. The owner is a real nice and patient Korean lady. She spent a lot of time with me showing me several wigs. They have moderate priced wigs to $ 100 ones to suit all budgets. There must be over 200 wigs to choose from in the showroom.

Came in looking for Caucasian style wigs. The owner here was Extremely helpful! She fitted my daughter and I with several wigs, showing us styling tricks and recommendations of the most natural looking styles. This was the third location we had tried and The Wig Factory was absolutely superior quality and service to other LB shops. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

My aunt was visiting from Australia and was in need of a wig. The customer service at this shop exceeded our expectations. The owner was very helpful in helping my aunt find an appropriate wig and even went out of his way to find a parking spot for us. The shop had a large selection of human and synthetic hair wigs. I would recommended this shop to anyone who is looking for a good quality wig at a reasonable price! Thanks!

Just bought two beautiful wigs. About a week ago I decided to get my hair cut short for summer… long story short… I got a horrific chop job of a haircut.
After a week of regret and tears I went into The Wig Factory and within 20 minutes I had two new hairdos to get me through the long grueling process of growing out a bad cut.
I am beyond thrilled.
I am completely hooked on wigs now. I LOVE being able to change my entire look in just seconds. They are very helpful and knowledgeable.
Excited to come back and get more styles and colors!

The customer service here is great! They made me feel very comfortable and were very patient and sympathetic of my health issues. I didn’t think I would be able to find a wig that suited me well and that I could wear daily if I needed to, but I did. I ended up getting something pricey by choice, but I’m very happy with my decision. The owners were very knowledgeable, and helpful in my selection.
I highly recommend this place!
Tip: if you plan on trying things on, make sure you have $ 2 for a cap.

My sister needed to find a wig because she will be going through chemo. Naturally it was very emotional for my sister, but the owners Art and Lydia were very patient and kind. I am so glad we chose this place because they made a difficult time a very pleasant experience. We were there for two hours and they gave us special attention. My sister was originally worried that she wouldn’t be able to find anything that looked natural. She ended up having trouble deciding between several wigs that looked natural. The wig selection was incredible in all price ranges. We will definitely be back to buy another one! Thank you Art and Lydia!!! :)

I dropped in earlier today, I was so excited they had a wig ive been wanting for ages! its a cosplay wig and i paid 30 bucks for it. the best part was the two ladies that helped me they were so attentive and they even put the wig on me and helpped me decide between two!

Horrible. Synthetic wigs for 300 $ the male owner is rude. No half wigs either. Will go somewhere else.

I discovered The Wig Factory while researching costumes and makeup for Long Beach Opera. I can’t recommend this shop highly enough. If you’re looking for quality wigs and friendly service, look no further. The shop owner is patient and knowledgable — just what I needed on an otherwise stressful day.

The owners are awesome. They made the process super easy. There was nobody else in the store so I had their full attention. It was my first time buying a wig so I wasn’t really sure what I wanted. The one I picked out for myself looked pretty bad. Lydia chose the next two and they suited me a whole lot better. I ended up getting the third one I tried on. The color is spot on and I think the cut is very flattering.

The prices are competitive, especially if you’re looking for medium-​to-​high quality wigs. They have very help and knowledgeable staff, who are honest about what to expect from their products. They helped me find an awesome wig that met my needs yet surpassed my expectations price, quality, and service. I will be going to then for my future wig needs.
Pros:
They carry both synthetic and human hair wigs.
They have a stylist who is there most of the time, who will help you try on the wigs.
They have been in business for a long time, and are very knowledgeable.
They also carry wig stands, combs, and other wig care accessories.
Cons:
Bad if you’re looking for a colorful party wig.
You have to buy a $ 2 wig cap for every wig you try on. You cannot bring your own wig caps. This is for sanitary reasons however, so I understand the point of this.
