Toarmina’s Pizza

Came here on vacation and was really impressed. I’m always looking for pizza that is like what I could get in Buffalo NY, and this was close. There was something «right» about the cheese and toppings, though I could understand why a previous reviewer took issue with the crust it wasn’t bad, just didn’t stand out. I’d definitely order again — I was disappointed I didn’t get a bigger pizza as soon as I took the first bite!

Best pasta dishes ever. .and the pizza is truly amazing fresh hot and delicious. Try it you’ll love it.

I always review as to what’s available in the location I’m in and so far this is the best around. Fresh toppings real cheese, I love the flavor of the pizza sauce fresh and herby, always fast and friendly service. I have eaten in house several times while visiting my sister and picked it up to bring home. The only other pizza places around that I have found are national chains and I always like to support the family businesses. PS I am a pizza snob…

The place is kind of weird but the pizza is great. They have really large pizzas that serve the whole family. Go eat there or have them deliver. If you eat there they have an ice cream place next door. So you can get dessert.

So sad to find another mediocre pizza on the gulf coast. I’ve had many kinds of pizza in many different places, and have had great pizza of many different types. I’m no pizza snob, but I have yet to find good pizza since I moved to the coast. Sad sad sad. I love pizza.
The pizza here tastes like a homemade job made on store-​bought focaccia bread. Think Boboli. It’s a somewhat odd mix of a thin crisp exterior (probably baked on a shortening-​coated pan) and an overly tender bread-​like interior. Light and airy, little flavor.
I waited three days to post this, and I already can’t remember what the sauce or toppings tasted like. I remember crust because it’s so important to a good pizza, and so many pizza places don’t seem to realize it. The crust here is dull and uninspiring, and the toppings literally unmemorable.
What I do remember is going to the car and telling my wife, «Well, not terrible, but another pizza place I don’t see any reason to visit again.» My wife, who doesn’t always agree with me, agreed on this one. Sigh.

Locally owned by a very welcoming family. Fresh salads and a wide variety of Pizza choices lead the way of an extensive menu. The interior connects to a an ice cream parlor that has a pool table. If you are looking for well priced, casual food with fine service, look no further.

I have not eaten at this one but the one in Biloxi was way over priced and the pizza was horrible.
