This place is OK… That’s all I can say… it did the trick… I wanted a burger and I didn’t want the basic chain food place… And I was really in the mood for chili cheese fries… So I ordered a burger and chili cheese fries… They put just too much chili and they put it on the burger and I never asked for it on the burger… chili is decent enough it’s just that it overpowered The taste of the burger and fries… I would eat here again but I think this time I’m going to make sure they don’t put chili on the burger and they only give me half the amount of chili for my fries

Delicious! We all know that this type of place is a guilty pleasure and you definitely have to be in the mood. If your system can handle it, go for it. Go big and order the bigger patty. Keeping on track and focus on this particular burger stand, that’s pretty much what it is. There’s no indoor seating but you’re in Long Beach, enjoy the weather. If in a hurry, there’s a drive thru. It can be a little noisy due to the busy street it’s on. There’s nothing in the area that compares to their chili cheese burgers. The closest in my opinion is Carney’s in Hollywood. But there’s another Tommy’s up there as well. That one does have indoor seating.
There’s lots of eateries in LB, some offer great burgers (In n Out!) But if you’re craving a chili burger, this is it. Enjoy.

Dino is absolutely the best. He welcomes you with such care and passion. He makes you feel like family and he consistently reminds you on how he is «making fresh for you». Honestly, I would love to take him for my business; however, he is happy where he is at. Always love the chili burger with chili cheese fries. This is definitely a go to when I get my dirty cravings!

Tommy’s was hyped to me by a couple of friends, and while I enjoyed my meal, it wasn’t the experience I was hoping for. The chili made everything soggy and unfortunately the chili tasted like Hormel’s. I know I’m in the minority for feeling this way about this place, and I’d be willing to go back there and try them again, but I was underwhelmed. I tried the Long Beach location, but maybe I should try the one in Westminster.

Dino is the best! He makes that place five stars. No contest. I don’t even eat the food there. I just ride with my boyfriend and I still enjoy the experience! I leave with a warm heart every time. :)

The chili cheese fries have an interesting taste, but it’s the best interesting taste I’ve ever had in my life. It’s seriously pure grease and if I can remember correctly it’s 800 and something calories. So worth it

Every now and then me n hubby get a craving for Tommy’s chili burgers. Is it the best chili out there, no but the whole burger itself with those fat fries is an all time favorite. And when you pair that with a few jalapeños and lots of ketchup, your in fast food heaven. This location is close to home and we like to have lunch out on the patio, they are never too crowded so you can actually relax and enjoy the breeze since their kinda close to the shores. The workers here are always fast friendly and efficient.

What can I say about my lunch! Wow!
Went to the barber shop and was hungry so I decided to stop by Tommys.
I love the classic burger joint feel, felt very welcoming. The staff was courteous as I asked for their menu suggestions.
I ordered the chilli cheese dog combo with chilli cheese fries and a water. Man oh man!!! I loved it!!!
Only thing stopping them from getting 5 stars was not giving the option for fried or raw onions. My dog was packed with raw onions, half of which I threw away. Other than that, I will be coming back!

Tommy burgers are not for burger aficionados! They are for when you want greasy and cheesy and bad chili stuffed into a commercial bun and topped with canned pickles. Perfect hangover food or party food. You almost have to have a craving to eat here. This place became famous with their original location off the 101 and have expanded from there. There are a lot of imitators, but, only one truly greasy Tommy burgers! Drink a six pack before arriving and you’ll love this place. Enjoy

Talk about a good meal. Although the chili cheeseburgers look small when you first get them, don’t be fooled. These little guys know how to fill you up!
