Dr. Tran is an ophthalmologist and he’s a great one but his scheduling system is horrible. I don’t know if it’s the inefficient system or they just overbook but when you go to your appointment, be ready to wait for at least an hour or more until you actually see the doctor. My whole family goes here to get our eyes checked and my parents got their cataract surgery done by Dr. Tran and the procedures(4 total) were flawless. But man, the waiting is horrible. I honestly wouldn’t go here again but I have been going here since I was little so I am used to the wait and always bring along a book or make sure my phone is fully charged when I go to my appointments.

I have had 2 cataracts removed by Dr Tran. It was a totally painless and amazing experience. I went from being legally blind to seeing better than I have in 30 years. The office staff is nice and the wait is a little long to see him but not for other visits. I would recommend him highly

The main optometrist/ophthalmologist for this location is Dr. Dan B. Tran. I did not see him, but I saw Dr. Sinavy Thorng, OD(female) 4 times. Bottom line — this doctor runs late and does not care to take the time with her patients to find the solution to a problem the patent is having. If you think there is anything unique about your eye situation and you are looking for a patient and helpful optometrist, DONOTGOHERE. I will try my best to sum up my unfortunate experiences… 1. First visit — waited 45 minutes in hot waiting room. — prescription renewal exam with Dr. Sinavy Thorng went fine — woman in room helping with glasses — hard to understand, did not give professional advice, and did not understand my questions — I did not buy any glasses. 2. Second visit — Contact lens exam. — waited an hour in hot waiting room — no real«exam» even though I paid $ 90 — Dr. Sinavy Thorng had a pair of lenses for me to try and put them in — a man helped me learn to take them out /put them in — he was nice and very patient 3. Third visit — report back about the lenses. — I tried to explain that the lenses made my vision weird and were irritating — Dr. Sinavy Thorng told me this is all because I have dry eyes — and I might not be a candidate for contacts. She did not offer any other options and seemed to expect me to say, «Ok, nevermind then» — I had to convince her to let me try other lenses — she did not want to help me find others and acted like she was doing me a favor. — She ordered 2 other pairs for me– said they’d be ready in 3 days 4. 8 Days later — I called about contacts — they had come in that day 5. 2 weeks later — report back about these lenses — I could see much better! — Lenses STILL irritating! — Dr. Sinavy Thorng told me that I had already tried 3 lenses, and most people do not try that many. She told me that it costs them money each time they have to order a free trial pair for me, and that she was going to start CHARGINGME for these FREE trial pairs. She said that I had to realize that I had dry eyes — and when would all this stop? She made me feel like I was wasting her time and that I was being unreasonable about ACTUALLYWANTINGTOFIND A PAIROFCONTACTSTHATWORKED!!! — I told her that she was not treating me as a doctor who wanted to help a patient should. — She offered me a refund of the cost of the exam — I accepted. Done with Dr. Sinavy Thorng
