Trebor/Nevets

In honor of the busiest shopping weekend of the year, I headed over to Long Beach to support Small Business Saturday (an American Express 2010 invented holiday), and to check out the slew of vintage shops that I have heard were hiding out on Fourth Street.
Trebor/​Nevets was my first stop. Wow.
Rebecca’s 5 Point Rating Scale (1-​not-​so-​great and 5-​fabulous):
Store Size /​Inventory — 5 (Most stores in this Long Beach street of vintage finery are one shop wide, Trevor/​Nebets is two shops wide which allows the merchandise to be displayed and curated properly.)
Merchandise Quality — 5 (Great modern/​retro vibe to the merchandise.)
Organization — 5 (Very organized shop.)
Pricing — 2 – 3 (Although the goods are not inexpensive, the prices are fair for the quality being shown in the shop. And I would assume there is a bit of room in the pricing … depending …)
Service — 5 (Well staffed and very helpful team. Staff also does design projects and consulting.)
Total Rating is 4.6 (out of 5 stars)
The Trebor/​Nevets shop is well organized and a delight to browse through. Pieces are a mixture of vintage and new furnishings. Merchandise is in excellent shape and the origination of the items being sold is reliable. I was also fascinated by the nice selection of mid-​century glass and pottery. A picky friend of mine utilized Trebor/​Nevets for interior design and was VERY satisfied. Her living room looks great!

Folks, if you spend your free time pleasuring yourself to the latest Pottery Barn catalogue, please do yourself a favor and pass on the joy that is Trebor Nevets. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a life changing image overhaul or amazing pieces of quality local and vintage pieces, hand selected and restored by their talented staff, please do pay these gentlemen a visit — you will not be disappointed. I used their services for two commercial projects and the enormous project of my personal home. The outcomes were amazing on many levels. When I come home, I am enamored by the way my house looks and feels. My commercial office is adored by all who visit. My only regret was not contacting them sooner when I began renovating my home– it would have saved me both time and money. Please, please do yourself a favor and give them a call or stop by for a visit. It just might change your life.

This place has awesome stuff. Always quite a few in house, custom designed items. I’m sure you could completely furnish and decorate a home here. The owner’s) are veeeeery creative. These guy’s really know their stuff! So much so, they’ve expanded the current location. Wonderful wonderful pieces!
Take a glance, you won’t be disappointed!
BTW, The studio is located on Fourth street same side as «Number Nine,» and across from the Art Theatre. Maybe dinner, a movie and a little shopping?
