Wells Fargo Bank

This location by far WAS my favorite. First it was the coffee machine next my favorite banker Vanessa Gentle left the company. I could deal with the coffee machine (after all is was an added perk) however, once I told Vanessa no longer worked there I notice the service from the other tellers just wasn’t the same. With Vanessa the service was genuine (remembering what I said two weeks ago and following up) and not robotic. The remaining tellers there so rehearsed. After 10 years of banking with Wells Fargo I will take my business else where. The turn over rate is high at this location. How can I trust a bank with my financial affairs if they don’t cherish and value their own employees?!

Nice customer service, but 3.00 ATM fee for 20 $ is ridiculous and I am sure a huge profit… I can’t imagine how bad their bank fees are.

Wonderful staff and service but the ATMs are tired and reject check deposits if you have more than one or two.

I am an almost 10 year Wells Fargo customer. This has the be the nosiest branch ever. I usually bank at the lakewood or seal beach locations.
One day I came to deposit a large quantity check into my bank account. Right away the teller said «wow” – “are you remodeling your house». I feel that no matter what sum of money you are depositing or withdrawing they should not comment on it. I understand asking how your day is going or commenting on the weather. But please do not ask about the money I am depositing unless I bring it up. She kept asking me if I was remodeling my house then I said no I am paying off credit card debit – which I felt obligated to tell her to shut her up. I was uncomfortable.
Another day I came in wearing cotton shorts and a tshirt around 930am – right away the greeter asked if I was just working out – which I wasn’t – but I feel it’s none of her business to comment on my outfit. I felt awful about the way I looked after that comment. Then I deposited another check that same day and asked for quarters for my three dollars – the teller asked «oh is it laundry day”” – and I said no. But really why ask.
Just ask if I’m having a good day, comment on the weather, ask me for water and that’s it. I understand Wells Fargo has excellent customer service but do not ask personal questions about my money unless I ask you or ask to speak to a personal banker.
I will not be coming back to this location.

I have been with Wells Fargo for over 20 years. A few years ago they started marketing like a used car salesmen. I go in to do a quick transaction and I have to hear a sales pitch for their newest thing. Often when I say no. They keep going. SO as a result I now do all transaction on their ATM. About 25% of the time their ATM will wrinkle up my checks and spit them back at me. When I try to re-​enter them in the machine it won’t accept them because they are wrinkled. THEN when I go inside (which I hate doing) they say «of course the ATM will not take these checks, they are all wrinkled». THE ATM WRINKLED THEM!!! I’ve told the people inside many times and they say that is what happens with all ATMs. I tell them that this has never happened to me at other Wells Fargo ATMs. But I go to this one because it is 2 blocks from my house. Also. The ATM has completely eaten my checks two times and it took 10 days for them to pull the checks out of the ATM and have the checks post to my account. In this economy, most people can’t skip a paycheck. If you can go to another bank, I would do that. I have it 2 stars and not one star because if you can do all of your transactions online, Wells Fargo is great.

If giving no star were an option that’s what I would chose! Would never do any banking in this branch again! I called and asked them to help me resolve an issue and they were no help at all! I told them I was going to close my account and they didn’t care at all. The girl on the phone told me to try and call customer service and they might help but most likely not. I took a chance and called customer service they resolved my issue right away and had to apologize for their employees working at this branch! They made me feel like a valued banker where as this place made me feel like another number! Get it together over here!

Typical Wells Fargo except for one of the bank employes that every time I visit this branch he is out by the front bank entrance smoking a cigarette. Then he tosses the cigarette butt into the banks parking lot. I don’t need to smell some freaking cigarette every time I go to this branch. Hey Wells Fargo tell your employes to take a walk and not hang our by the bank entrance smoking their death sticks.

I opened an account here today. Best customer service I’ve ever received at a bank. ever. Oscar helped me send a complicated international wire and took the time to explain all the features of my new account. He showed me where to download my tax documents– a nice touch on Dec 31. They also have pretty amazing complimentary coffee.

Have been a customer at this branch since it was Home Savings. All the staff are very nice and friendly and yes, they do have nice beverages. Unfortunately, after many months of attempting to have a simple matter resolved I will be closing all accounts at this branch. Every month for the past 6 months I have been incorrectly charged a service fee on one account. Each time I have come in and it has been reversed and I’ve been told that it will not happen again. It continues to occur. This week I called on Tuesday morning and explained the situation and was told that I would be called back that day. No call. I called again on Thursday. No call back. I went in on Friday, explained again (to the gal I spoke with on Tuesday). She assured me (again) that the branch manager would call me back. No call. Today I go in to close the accounts.
I despise going in to the bank. I have small children that I either have to bring along or arrange for care. For a simple issue (according to each bank employee) this is far too much trouble to deal with.
This is not the first situation in which I’ve received incorrect information or had accounts set up incorrectly. They still haven’t sent me an ATM card after multiple requests.
Shame on them the first times but shame on me for all the rest. My lesson has been learned and I hope you have a better experience.

So the first thing I have to say is that this place gets 5 stars for giving out free coffee/​hot chocolate/​tea!
Now that we have that covered, and I’m wide awake and able to perform my banking duties. the employees who work at this branch are AMAZING. They are all very friendly and welcoming. It’s clean and the lines go pretty fast. Definitely makes you like coming into the bank and it feels like home :)
