My wife and I got a great price on the family share plan 10 GB of data unlimited text unlimited talk and outstanding service.

I was promised a one year renewal of my $ 39.99 rate for high speed internet with Verizon in the Long Beach, CA service area. This promise was made by several people on different calls including supervisors over a 3 month period (I have names). Each month, I get a new bill with a $ 79.98 charge! Keep in mind that this is dog-​slow speed account of ¹⁵⁄₁₅! When I would call, I would get a credit to make up the difference. They would tell me the problem is solved, then I get the higher rate bill again the next month! On the last call I made to a supervisor, all I could get was «I’m sorry, there is nothing we can do. You were misinformed — this lower rate is no longer available.» I call this fraud. Stay away if you have a choice!

Do you enjoy getting your time wasted? Then come stand in line here for hours!!! The staff here is not helpful, ignores customers, and most people standing in line give up and leave before even being helped because they hate waiting so long. Thank you Verizon store for being the biggest time suck of my day!!! I will never come back here!!!

After two years of good technical service from FIOS, my wireless connection is virtually nil. Two miserable calls to FIOS yielded first a story about national problems and then two people telling me that Verizon only guarantees internet access with Ethernet cables… no solution to wireless problem. Typical Verizon service.

Verizon fios isn’t worthy of 1 star unfortunately that’s the lowest you can give them.
We have been trying to get internet for OVER a month now. We have set up 5 appointments for technicians to come set up the wifi. 3 times they came, 2 left without saying anything. 1 left and said he couldn’t do it. 2 NEVER showed up!!! Mind you every «window» is 5 hours. Twice they extended their window by another hour or two!
One day after complaining that they never showed up for the previous appointment they said okay we will be there at 8:30 the following day. Okay hold on, don’t tell me ask me! I work! I can’t just wait around for 2 months hoping one day verizon might come.
This is insane! Verizon, I thought you were the best provider. What happened?!

Horrible! If we are talking about Verizon internet here, I will never be choosing them ever again. I wish there was another provider where I lived.
I recently moved to LB and Verizon was supposed to mail all the necessary equipment for me to set up on my own. The first package I received had all the cables, but not the modem. Okay called, complained and got another package with the modem. BUT, some idiot created a second account for me when they sent the second package. So I was getting double the billing for the month. Called, again, complained, and spent ridiculous time and energy on the phone trying to get the second account deleted. The person on the phone said they had filed for it to be deleted, then the second month comes rolling around and I find out it hasn’t. This happened twice where they said the second account would be deleted only to find out nothing had been done about it. Still waiting to see if it’s actually happened.
On top of that, my internet is good when it’s working, but half the time if I have more than one system trying to use the internet none of them are able to access the internet, and my router is capable of handing up to 7 systems.
The people are nice at the time when you talk to them on the phone, but their way of doing things just does not work, and the internet quality is definitely nothing to brag about.

I dont want to go into detail about my experience because it is a very long story, but it was a very terrible ordeal.
I came to this Verizon Store to get help with my move. I wanted to select a new Internet SP and cable SP and thought that they would make it easier for me.
Lets just say at the end of the day I wish I would have done it myself.
The only reason why I am giving this place two stars is because one of their employees, Mac, really seems to know what is going on. I feel like if I had dealt with him the first time, everything would have gone very smoothly.
Try to avoid coming here, but if you do, ask for Mac and accept no other!

Like everyone else said terrible customer service and the will grift every hard earned penny you have. Find a different provider trust me on this one, it will be worth your peace of mind.

I have nothing but great things to say about Fios and about this particular office. I moved to Belmont Shore in April and was recommended to go with Fios because the alternative, Charter, has terrible service and customer service. I’ve had Charter in the past and I would rather not have cable and internet then deal with them. Anyway, I worked with Sophie at this branch and she is awesome– she gave me the best deal for services I needed and didn’t go for the hard sell — which makes her reliable and more credible imo. Aside from Sophie, Fios is AWESOME! I have never had internet speed problems, DVR problems — which is typical of Charter (shows don’t record, internet is slow). I used to deal with ISPs on a monthly basis with Charter and Time Warner but now I don’t even think about it.
Highly recomment Fios! And my friends who live in belmont do too!

I would give 0 stars if I could.
Their product itself is great — I can’t lie about that.
It is their useless excuse of customer service that really irks me.
For the past three months, I had to call several times (with 30min + holds each time) to make them adjust my bill to the correct package.
Every single time, they say that they will correctly update my bill but they again mess it up. I have paid more than I should and after last month, I became so fed up, I decided not to pay. They then ‘magically’ call me every day in the wee hours of the morning to tell me to pay. It seems that they are so on point when they need to collect money but it takes me at least 30 minutes to talk to them when I need something.
They even FAXED me a letter stating that my bill was past due.
Don’t get me wrong, I would be HAPPY to pay $ 120+ a month that I normally did. It is my $ 250+ bills that I am getting because they decided to separate my packaged bundle into three separate bills.
When I spoke w/​customer disservice, they stated that I called in and told them that I wanted to get off the bundle. Now, logically speaking, why in the world would I want to do that? I signed up for the bundle and was happy with it.
They said they would correct it and give me free Korean TV programming for 3 months. They of course charged me for it on the next billing cycle.
When I called in regarding that, they admitted that they shouldn’t have charged me for the Korean programming and was willing to reverse that. I told them to reverse every wrong thing on my bill. They declined.
Long story short, I hate the customer service and billing departments of Verizon and I will be damned before I will pay the overcharged bills of Verizon. I worked in legal environments before and will fight to the fullest of my abilities to win this one out. They will not mess up my credit and will not get away with this one.

WORST BUSINESS EVER!
Seriously, so I order online. 24 hours later they cancel my order and do not tell me why. I call into customer service rep 1 hangs up on me. I call back rep 2 transfers me to the AUTOMATED service I just went through to get to her. rep 3 gives rep 4 wrong order number and they dont have a flipping clue who I am.
REALLY? are they for REAL? So whatever, it seems that AFTER ALL THAT the reason my order was CANCELED was to save verizon 5 $ per month. So online prices are 5 $ cheaper per month than if you call in and order service. So wouldnt this be a BAIT and switch?
Someone post a reply here and tell me who I need to report them to for these business practices. As for Verizon go fudge yourself.

This is NOT a Verizon store — they are an «authorized dealer» of Verizon products.
That’s why they don’t have all of the Verizon phones, i.e. the iPhone. I went in to this store (not knowing there was a difference in stores) when it was time for me to change out my phone and I asked for the iPhone. I was told by the sales clerk (Maggie) this: «Verizon is no longer selling the iPhone4 due to reception issues, you will have to wait until August to purchase the iPhone5 if you want it». TOTAL AND COMPLETE LIE! She then sold me a phone from their store saying it was better than the iPhone.
I got home, did my research and found out that she had lied to me, so I took the phone back for a refund and a «What the Hell???» She apologized without making eye contact (because she knew she had lied to me) and then proceeded to mess up the refund and phone reset completely.
Do not go to this store for anything — they practice shenanigans!
PS: I notice here that Maggie has been mentioned in another review… me thinks it’s time for Maggie to be fired.

I give them a 3 because they’re probably the best of the worst. It seems like you can’t get good service any more. As far as quality goes, I’m happy with it, but I’m very disappointed in their customer service. I’ll only keep using them because I’ve tired other providers and they’re even worse.

You think that with another Verizon store opening 2 blocks down that this store would really attempt to give excellent service. Not so. I purchased a cell phone from Gwen and she gave me case. However it was the wrong case. So I returned it and the customer service people told me that they would order another one for me. A month went by; no call. Stopped in and no one had a clue about where the case went. So Maggie said she would personally take care of it for me. 2 weeks go by and no call so I sent her an email and left a phone message. No return call or email. Then I called and asked to talk to the manager/​owner and Danny said the cases were on backorder and I asked why no one bothered to just call and tell me this. He said he would have the manager call me. 3 days go by and no call. So I say to you, why is it so hard to get me a case.
I went down the street to the new Verizon store, who reacted quickly and provided me a case. Funny, they had plenty in stock. So much for backorders.

my wife and i were strolling the belmont shores area and we came across a verizon provider. she needed a new phone and we had and idea what we wanted.
we asked the 1^st available person that we saw and it happened to be the president Alan Brawer. he was very boisterous and happy. as soon as we made our decision on what we were going to get he started the transfer of info of the phone.
well that’s where it all went downhill. he made a grave error and destroyed 10yrs of contacts because he was moving too fast.
he offered 10 $ in accessories for the error and i said no.
i wanted the new phone minus the setup fee which was $ 50. he and i had a long conversation on how to make things right. he was very reluctant and then caved.
then handed off the info to one of the employees and then disappeared. probably embarrassed.
the employee could not do it and we needed to get going. i said that i would come back the next day and they said it would not be a problem.
so i came back but the employee said that they could not do anything without the presidents authorization. even though he knew he had it from the previous day.
so i had to get him on his cell phone because the employee could not track him down.
he kept agreeing to refund my credit card and then refused to do it. i had to call him numerous times on his cell and he promised me he would. it never happened. (this was over a 3 month time span) i went in again and he pretended not to even know who i was.
President Alan Brawer is a very shifty individual and will lie straight to your face. even though you can see him doing it.
the employees are very aloof and seem not to be able to do much without some higher authority.
be very very careful when dealing with this business.
not recommended at all.
