Andrea is sweet and extremely helpful! Definitely will be coming back and trying their hot foods.

Small yogurt shop full of delicious fro-yo and icecream and a wide variety of toppings(like literally so many things to choose from, it’s great)!! Not only do they have yogurt, but they have sandwiches and pretzels too! Like whatttt!!! My favorite things to get there are the acai sorbet(make it into an acai bowl) & spinach and feta filled pretzel, literally THE best things I’ve had. I could eat them everyday if I could they also sell Sweet September cupcakes and they’re soooo delicious and sweet! Definitely a place to go to with friends and family. I absolutely love it there

Great frozen yogurt and tons of toppings! They have cereal, candies, fruit and all sorts of syrups. Really great service too! There is a special kid size table with coloring pages to keep kids occupied while they wait. There’s not a ton of seating indoors but there is a charming courtyard out back to sit and enjoy your yogurt

YoPlace is an awesome mom and pop fro yo spot! The fro yo at YoPlace is so creamy and taste more like ice cream than frozen yogurt ! Talk about toppings every time you turn around there’s more toppings to choose from, they seriously have every topping you can think of, no other frozen yogurt shop can top that ! There’s always someone nice working here, it’s always bright, clean, and beautifully decorated for the season ! They also make iced mochas, any kind of smoothie you want, they have pizzas, stuffed gourmet pretzels, chips, muffins, and drinks, basically everything you need to cure a snack attack, or super sweet tooth! YoPlace is the place to go to feel happy and full! I love this place !!

Great neighborhood Frozen Yogurt place. Right next door to the Dance Company in Long Beach. Not the biggest selection of daily flavors to frozen yogurt, but the ones they have are really good. The fruits are fresh and great selection of other toppings.

Great Mom and Pop Frozen Yogurt place. Fresh healthy topping for the very tasty frozen Yogurt. The girl working at the counter was super friendly and helpful. Best part of everything was how super affordable my yogurt was even if I added a ton of toppings. It was just 3 bucks! Will be back.

Yo Place is one of my top 5 fro yo establishments on the planet. The product is so cold and so soft it is a marvel of culinary excellence. I recommend Yo Place to all of my friends and I will continue to do so. It’s the best kept secret in Orange/LA County!

Yo Place is the perfect Yogurt stop if you are looking for Great yogurt, fresh toppings, friendly service and a quick and easy stop. They are located in the very charming Lakewood Village and this little gem also boasts WiFi which is another plus. I decided to host an event here and was impressed with their great service and commitment to ensuring everyone was having a good time. Julie and Sheila Rock!!! I would much rather shop local and give my business to community partners that are committed to giving back. Yo Place… I am Yo girl forever!

As a former yogurt shop employee I pride myself on being a bit of a connoisseur. There is a big difference in the quality of yogurts and YoPlace gets it right. The yogurt is creamy and flavorful not cheap and icy. They are unique in offering their organic plain tart flavor. It’s awesome. Not nearly as sour tart as most places. It is mild and sweet so it pairs well with every other flavor and topping from fruit to chocolate. They have a wide variety of toppings and if you look around they have a ton of other options too. They have shakes, specialty coffees, cones, pretzels, etc. They have an ever expanding menu every time you go in so keep an eye out for it!

Yogurt here is delicious. We’re there at least once a week. The amount of toppings are crazy. Beats any major yogurt chain that’s for sure. Lactose free yogurt? Check. AC? Check. Free Wi-fi? Check. they even have a rewards program. Ditch the major chains and pay this spot a visit, you’ll be glad you did.

It’s a decent place, all in all. Yo lacks in charm, is a bit run down, and my toppings seemed a bit stale — but the yogurt was alright, location convenient, and the Wi-Fi is a big plus. There’s not much to day about it, but I don’t think I’d ever go unless I was stuck doing laundry next door. Which I was. My wife won when she returned with a blended horchata latte from Eco.

We’ve had record high temps in LA over the past few days and when my co-worker suggested we drive to Yo Place Frozen Yogurt and More for a late afternoon cool-down snack, I was so game. First off, the store is located in a really charming little community near Long Beach. They offer low fat and organic options and I believe those with lactose intolerance will find a few options to choose from. The pineapple flavor is amazing! There are so many toppings to choose from and I was pleasantly surprised with the minimal cost — considering I loaded up with almost a pound of gummy bears! lol I will most definitely be a return customer.

I’m normally a Yogurtland only kind of person, but this place is my new favorite. It’s super clean and simple. None of the flavors confuse me haha. It’s got a place for kids to color which is nice for when I go with my brother. Would for sure recommend this place.

The low fat chocolate overload is delish and the nonfat vanilla was yummy! The interior was bright and the girl at the counter was cheerful. There was only about 5 flavors of fro yo, though, and not too much fruit choices, either.

Get the pineapple!!! This is a mom & pop sort of froyo place. They have 3 free-standing dispensers with 9 flavors of frozen yogurt to offer. A table of toppings sits nearby and more toppings are located at the main counter where you pay. I combined pineapple and strawberry in a cup. It came out slightly softer than other froyo places but it definitely was not runny. The strawberry was tasty but the pineapple — the PINEAPPLE! It was amazingly delicious. Forget about everything else, get the pineapple froyo. Trust me. The toppings are not as plentiful as chain places but they still have quite a few and you won’t feel like you are being deprived. I added mochi and strawberries. They have a lot of squirt bottles of various toppings and I squirted some marshmallow and caramel on top too. The price is great and the guy at the counter was friendly. I’m not normally in this area but if I lived anywhere nearby I’d definitely go here often.

Place is pretty good. They always have someone very nice working there. Their yogurt is good, the options are unique and it’s satisfying. Yeah this place is a little pricey but Yoplace is also a small independently owned business.(Its not a chain). I come here whenever I have a craving

Open till 9pm — seven days a week. For a local newly opened yogurt place, this is quite an endeavor. But if you really look at this business, they are doing this in probably the smartest way a small shop could open and be successful. So lets get over some of the immediate trauma one might feel because this is not the onslaught of 20 yogurt types and pushing and shoving people. Yes, there is 6 flavors of frozen yogurt. And you will get a colored spoon, so all is normal in that department. They do have a good selection of toppings — my favorites are mochi and strawberries, so I didn’t miss out. As mentioned in other reviews, they do have some fruit toppings, crunchy and Sweet chips and such, and a row of sprinkle bins next to the register. They also have a wide selection of flavored syrups — nice touch. Here is the heavens opening up and the little angels singing. They have a non-dairy pineapple frozen yogurt that made my eyeballs roll back in my head. I was wise to stop walking when this happened and(this time) I wasn’t trying to cross a street either. This, now this, this was something I haven’t had at any of the other places. Maybe the specialty of one flavor doesn’t appeal to everyone. But if you remember, way back in the day, when BR added yogurt, they only had a few flavors too. And then there were places that weren’t self serve, which only had a few flavors. But Yo Place does have the few staples that most people would be able to find at least one that was likable. Outside of the pineapple, I also got a shot of Chocolate Overload. Hey, I think I just completed 2 of my daily nutritional requirements. A fruit and chocolate. And just for those of you that need a spot of live music, they have a patio and music on certain Friday nights from 7pm — 9pm. It is located in an unusual part of the Viking Way shopping area. The best way I would describe it is find the post office and then it’s North of that. Even with the signage, it looks pretty sleepy, but trust me and go through the door and take a look for yourself. The cost is around 0.39 per ounce — standard pricing. And it’s clean, and local. What I think you are making out on is that you don’t have to deal with driving to a mall or shopping center. There is parking. You can get a spot of yogurt and walk around the area. There are benches along Viking way in case you want to sit an chat with your yogurt eating tribe. In all, it’s a slice of a lazy Sunday stroll that you can have anytime you need it.
