Zizibeh

Strolled in today inquiring about job opportunities and decided to stay and browse the collection. I’m familiar with the chain and shopped the Inglewood location. I was impressed with the quality of some items and the price. Cool store for trendy and basic pieces. I’ll have to go back and try on the ribbed crop tops, cropped swinged crops, chambray denim jumpsuit and hooded midi length fitted dress. I’ll definitely be back! And they aren’t hiring. Lol. Btw, if you enjoy the assistance of sales ppl– this isn’t the store. Basic CS is lacking for sure along w/​bring understaffed.

Cute store! Decent prices. One side has casual/​club attire and the other side has plus sizes and more formal stuff. It’s a cross between forever 21 and h&m. Have gotten some cute pieces from here and there’s always something nice on the clearance racks.

I heard about this store from one of my co-​workers and decided to check it out during my lunch on a workday. My co-​worker said it’s just like Forever 21, but a lot closer to our workplace. She was right — the clothes are similar to Forever 21 since they have a lot of the same items, but there isn’t as much variety. The price is about the same as Forever 21, but I personally would drive a bit further to the Forever 21 in Lakewood than shop at this store.

Came into this store to look for something to wear while I was in Cali. The workers are sooo rude! The clothes were on the floor and when u ask for help it’s as though you are inconveniencing them !! Omg will never shop here again ! Id rather go around the corner to the fashion store !!
The accessories I did buy from there broke the next day as well. I would avoid this place

Cute stuff. I’m not anti-​merchandise. Just anti-​employees. Rude, rude, rude. Made me feel stupid during my purchase. Not going to this Zizibeh ever again. No thank you.

I got 2 belts (black and brown) at 4.99 each.
If you’re planning to visit Ross or Nordstrom Rack, you should first see Zizibeh, affordable and hip.

Bought a garment here, cut the tags, then washed it in Tide to get rid of the dyed fabric smell. Fabric discolored. You should at least get one decent wear out of something post wash. Will not shop here again.

Zizibeh is a little like Forever 21’s cheaper little sister.
It has F21’s style with a little more H&M feel to it but costs several dollars cheaper.
They only carry women’s clothes.
If you really want to find good deals, go to their clearance section!
I got a thin pink belt for $ 1.50 and imitation Tom’s blue canvas shoes for $ 7.50! =)
Was contemplating some of their necklace for $ 0.99 each (at clearance), but opted against it since I have so many.
They also sell scarves, hats, leggings, purses, accessories, sunglasses, and shoes.
I overheard that their largest clothing size is 10.

Horrible, I bought my 15 year old daughter a cute top off the shoulder for $ 25. She wore it once, I washed it! (no tag with instructions either) & I was horrified when I took it out the washer, it had three holes, shrunk three sizes & strings hanging everywhere!!! I still had the receipt cause I just bought it, so I took it back to the store, thinking they would understand, boy was I wrong, the manager said” I should not had washed it, & it wasn’t her problem! Very disappointed! Never again !! Save your money ladies! I wasn’t suppose to have washed a shirt I purchased!!! Lol was I just suppose to look at it???

This is my new favorite go to place for cute and affordable clothing. It’s located in the heart of downtown long beach which is walking distance from my residence (perfect!) and is my replacement forever 21 when I don’t feel like driving to the mall. I’m only giving it four stars because some of their clothing/​shoes are overpriced even when it lacks quality and I’m not a fan of poor quality expensive clothing. Anyway, the place is nice, clean and organized. The fitting rooms are spacious and always clear of clutter and they also will hold your clothing for 24 hours in case you want to think about it before returning the next day to make your purchase (pretty cool cause most places only hold clothing until closing time).

The lady and the worker said I should model. I don’t know, are they trying to kiss my butt?
Yep, I go here every time I’m on Promenade or want to go to Nordstroms there. The clothing is cute and trendy. But it feels like its cheaply made (like Forever 21, see my review :) yet it’s more pricey. It ain’t a crazy price. But it’s not worth it. Minus 1 star.
The smell. Yeah, there was a stench. C’mon, minus 1 star.

People gave some harsh reviews… but you get what you pay for! Ok, Agreed; Quality aint all that and not everything in the store is mindblowingly chic or posh, but you can get some trendy finds there. TIP: CLUBBING GEAR.
You can probably pick up something sexy for a night out, but don’t try to find something for a date, a get together with your in-​laws-​to-​be, a wedding, or for any occasion where you don’t want to look skanky… I mean. sexy :)

Zizibeh is my ace in the hole when it’s crunch time. They always come through when you need it most, you know… when it’s about 8:30 pm, and a friend has just invited you out to a function and either 1) nothing is clean or 2) you have nothing new to wear. Usually you do a boho-​chic look but tonight you’re looking for glamour meets rock… minus the teenage angst. With half an hour to spare and some creativity, you can definitely wrangle up the perfect outfit, buy some accessories to ensure that it’s one-​of-​a-​kind, and still leave without getting that shopper’s hangover the next day. You know it: when you feel good buying it, then the next morning the remorse of how much you spent hits you and you get dizzy and want to vomit looking at your bank account? Yeah, we’ve all been there. There’s none of that here at Zizibeh.
Now we all know that these stores (random boutique stores, even Forever 21’s, and the H & M’s as someone mentioned) are all kind of hit and miss depending on the season, your style, and what time of day you go. Zizibeh is much the same. Some days I love the store from front to back, most days I only love the right side, and some days… not so much. But if you are the type of person who buys and wears the outfit as it’s sold, then this might not be for you.
If you are the creative styling type, who buys and puts together random pieces and ties it all in with a fashionable, eclectic belt… you will find this to be a safe haven.

I like Zizibeh. I go here to every so often when I am in the neighborhood. The prices are reasonable but the quality can be hit or miss. You should always look at the quality of a piece of clothing before you buy anyways (even Macy’s have clothing of awful quality sometimes). I have found some of the cutest items here. I just bought a timeless peacoat there for $ 28 in a dark gray color. I have bought dresses, shirts, jackets and earrings here for the past 3 or 4 years.
So I am definitely a fan of Zizibeh.

I had a really pleasant experience in this store. I found a really cute dress and sandals. I’m not sure why other Unilocalers didn’t find anything they like but in my opinion they have a good collection of clothes to choose from. The staff was super friendly with me. They recommended items that would go with the outfits and very helpful.
I would definitely go back at Zizbeh again.

The other reviews are true: Cute mannequins, horrible merchandise.
I’m small and short, though, and have a hard time finding clothes that fit right off the hanger. I found TWO pairs of pants and a couple pairs of tights here that are perfect. Thin ‘denim’ but it fits and if it’s hard for you to find things that fit then you know how wonderful it is to find that treasure.
Some things are cute and everything is cheap (as in price) but if you’re looking for designer looks or quality, it won’t be here. I’d go back in and check it out every once in a while. I mean, most of the product here is obviously trying TOO HARD to be trendy, but who knows, maybe a really great find is lurking in there somewhere.
The girl with the horrible eyeliner that was working the fitting room when I was there wasn’t too nice, but that’s to be expected of bitter 15 year olds.

Upon passing inspection, it is presented well and you are drawn into the youthful and summer looking manniquins dressed in bright colors. Once you enter and see the actual quality of the merchandise, you know you’ve been duped, shammed, the bait n switch, bamboozled. Though some of the outfits are cute, it is swap-​meet quality. I was looking for a nice pair of white pants to bring an outfit together. I looked all over the store, because like I said, the stuff looks cute but it’s not the good stuff. I wavered over a pair of jeans that I liked but the size was off. Girls, you know what I mean. Sometimes you want to just buy a pair of pants that fit regardless of the size. I ended up getting another strapless bra for the summer. I then went to Ross and found the designer pants that fit on sale for 9.99. Score!
I also found two more cute pairs of Steve Maddens and still got in for under 40 bucks.
Go Ross, Bleh Zizibeh.
