The beach club brought us here, but my friend and I wanted to enjoy Sunday Brunch and chill before heading down to day drink. Therefore, we came here. Brunch lasts from 11am-3pm, so we actually just made it! Unsure what to get, we ordered the pre-fixed brunch menu set that comes with an app, entrée, and dessert with no drinks for something around $ 20, and we couldn’t have brunch without any alcohol! We ordered a peach bellini each for $ 12. Wow, the sleek flask of champagne glass filled bellini was half the price of our 3 course brunch! For brunch, we started with a fruit yogurt, which was okay because you can tell that it was pre-made and stuck back into the fridge. Then came the ham eggs benedict with a side of greens and potatoes. Woah, they are cheap… only one eggs benedict, instead of the usual two. Finishing up the set, we were served with this chocolate mousse dessert, which was also very mediocre. The quality of the food and the portion to its price were both meh. For a total of $ 38, I could get much better in Jersey and even NYC. Yes, I would say that the outdoor patio, beach view, and overall ambiance can slightly justify its worth, but it’s not enough. I don’t remember the service particularly, but I guess it was not bad or good — again mediocre. Yet, it pretends to give off this upscale vibe.

Yeah, I had a great time… nothing is more fulfilling than spending $ 23 on a margarita served to you in a scotch glass. My advice to management would be to stop acting and charging people as if you’re running a 5 star restaurant. You’re definitely not, the food was actually really bad.

I would give ZERO stars if possible. I had eaten dinner at the restaurant first with a group of ten girls. There were about ten waiters per table, yet everyone seemed to just stand around doing nothing. Regardless, dinner was fine overall. Our waiter then told us we could go right up to the club. We were very rudely yelled at by the bouncer, Justin. I will repeat his name numerous times because he was so rude, and quite frankly, no man should ever speak to women in the forceful tone that he took with us. The club should be embarrassed to have him work there. Understandably we were confused as there was a line outside, and we did not know why after spending the amount of money we did, JUSTIN is screaming at us to go outside and that«he does not care where we just came from he is not letting us in.» He even told us that we could not stand there and he would have us escorted out. Needless to say, the manager then came over and told us we could go in. The rude JUSTIN was not very happy and was continuing to run his mouth. I wanted to remind him that he is a doorman, and needed to relax with his attitude, but I am a little classier than the people who work there. We were then ushered to the next step in this process which were two snotty girls asking us each for $ 30. Again, after the amount of money we spent at dinner, this was ridiculous. We looked at each other and basically laughed. They kindly(sarcasm) told us that we could not stand there and decide if we wanted to go in, but we would have to leave. We happily left and went across the street to the outside Tiki Bar which was amazing. If you are choosing a place to go, MUCH better option. I think Avenue has to realize at they are in Long Branch. They are not a pretentious New York club and the snotty, disrespectful attitude will only lose them business. DONOT go there unless you want people to be rude, and have a «man» like Justin try to make himself feel better about being a doorman by yelling at women. HUGEDISAPPOINTMENT. As someone with a shore house for 20 years in a nearby town, And who frequents Pier Village, I will certainly never return.

We have been there so many times. We love the food, service and atmosphere. Buy we had such a bad experience with the manager(David) tonight that we might not even want to go back. We spent a lot of money all weekend. David was so petty and small minded that we realize the management must not appreciate happy, fun, good paying customers like us.

I had an issue with the Avenue. Amanda from the Avenue addressed the issue promptly and I am very pleased.

This place insists on blasting techno crap music all day disturbing everyone at the beach. If you want to do it at night, fine, but from 11am on?

What wasted potential. A beautiful venue, spectacular views, constant sea breeze, and a great restaurant below should equal a great night club right? Not only is it wildly overpriced and a pain in the ass to get into, it’s just not enjoyable once inside. We had bottle service and with the line outside and the big hoopla getting in, we expected a crowd but it was actually pretty empty and tame inside. Although our cocktail waitress was really sweet, she was very insistent upon mixing our drinks for us which when all you have is a bottle of vodka and the usual mixers is really not necessary and actually annoying. The icing on the cake was the bouncers. They were the worst of the worst. Downstairs at the restaurant you are treated with appreciation and friendliness upon dropping copious amounts of dough whereas up here in le club it’s the opposite. We were constantly babysat and being told where to stand. At the end of the night, when the lights came on for last call, we had about ¼ remaining in our bottle that we decided to give to our VIP neighbors. Holy crap, we had some Morpheus looking bouncer all up in my bf’s face over this, which I(sober DD) and another female from our party tried to explain calmly«hey we just paid we’re leaving, lay off» and were basically pushed aside. Another male came up from our group to tell the bouncer to back off and before we knew it we were flocked by security and the males were physically thrown out. The night was ruined, we left feeling humiliated and robbed. We wrote a letter to management about this and were promised a $ 100 voucher that we never received. Which is fine since I have no intention of going back to le club. If you can manage to avoid the drama with security and have the money to spend, it could be a good time but in my experience, avoiding drama is near impossible. Je n’aime pas!

The only good thing about this place is happy hour. Bartenders are rude and snooty. The older crowd doesn’t make it that much fun either… I wish this place would go away… This is NOT New York City! Hit up Indulge or Wine Loft for awesome bartenders, good food and a good time.

A new year. a fresh new start and a time for second chances. I would like to first clarify that I am reviewing strictly the lounge. Oh, boy. What can I say? I went on Saturday night of Memorial Day Weekend and they were charging $ 40 per person(both men & women) to enter an empty lounge. My 10 friends and I were iffy about entering and the bouncers finally decided to give in at $ 20/person to my group before we could walk away. So we decided to head in… Upon entering the venue it was empty so I decided to make my way to the bar. I heard the drinks were expensive($ 15 mixed drinks) so I decided to just get vodka on the rocks($ 20). I am the biggest lightweight and let me just say the drink was 100% undeniably watered down. I could literally chug it. I wouldn’t suggest to anyone to order a mixed drink from this establishment. Who knows what you’re getting! The music was ehh mediocre but the outdoor area is nice. After many attempts at giving this place a solid chance, I promise to never go back. They can keep their $ 20 water and lime.

I recently attended a party at this event. The service, staff, & managers was TERRIBLE! They did not comply with the contract. They rushed the party & employees were more then rude… They were down right obnoxious. Two of my girlfriends actually got push by 2 different the employees. The pictures of this venue look nice but do not judge a book by its cover, especially in this case. Even my grandmother was offended by one of the staff members. This venue is shameful. In addition, I have found out from another friend that there are several people suing Avenue for similar events. Honestly don’t waste your time listening to their«smiley sales» pitch b/c they pull the bait and switch.

Great happy hour with $ 5 martinis every day and all night Fridays.(Downstairs in the restaurant) Good crowd, nice atmosphere, and bartenders know what they are doing. One of my favorite places in the area.

This place is not what it’s cracked up to be. The DJ was no good, he played all Hip Hop. I don’t know who he was catering to, his own taste I guess, but most people were NOT into it. Drinks are too expensive and some of the bouncers are on power trips who shouldn’t be working at what’s supposed to be a classy establishment. Save yourself the trouble and don’t waste your time or money.

Had our wedding and cocktail reception here October 3, 2009. Everything was great. The food was great, the staff was great. The wedding took place on the rooftop overlooking the ocean. Fortunately it was a nice night and people hung out inside and outside. We had an amazing wedding and our friends are still talking about how much fun they had!

Classy — fun — spectacular! Ummm are we really in New Jersey? Avenue Nuit(previously known as Le Club) is one of my favorite bars, hands down. I’d rather go here than many places in Manhattan! It’s a rooftop bar right on the ocean, with lovely views of both the beach and Pier Village; the big shopping, dining, and apartment complex which was built just a few years ago and is making Long Branch the best place to be on the Jersey Shore! Avenue Nuit’s gorgeous large outdoor area(complete with a pool) is perfect for mingling. They have«beds» out there that you can lounge on, but I’m pretty sure those are usually occupied by the high-roller types who buy bottles… That’s not me! You can usually find me on the dancefloor inside. Whenever I’ve been here and there was a DJ, it was awesome. Such a variety of people come here, from the locals to the vacationers. Once my best friend and I(who has a beach house in Long Branch) were dancing with a Conservative Jewish guy who knew every word to every rap song the DJ played. It was one of the most hilarious and most fun club experiences I’ve ever had. The people I’ve talked to here have always been so nice, and I’ve never felt sketched out by anyone. Drinks are pricy, but the bartenders are good. I’d recommend this bar to anyone. Be sure to dress up! Guys — no shorts or sneakers, even if this IS your vacation… I guarantee they won’t let you in.
