I ate here for the second time today and it was wonderful! I love how they have such a healthy menu with vegan options that are so fresh and unique. I hope that with the warmer seasons approaching they add some new entrees to their menu. Definitely will be a repeat customer, it’s nice to finally have a place like this nearby. Simple, healthy, fun food!

I was happy to find a place with so many gluten free options. Then, after tasting the food, I was even happier. Everything was delicious. I wish them great success.

Super friendly location. Owner/chef was quite welcoming and made us a good cup of bulletproof coffee. Whole menu is gluten free and based on seasonal availability. If you are looking for a paleo friendly breakfast or lunch place, check this out. Definitely recommend.

I got a chance to stop in here one day while driving through the area. The van at the end of the parking lot drew me in, and boy am I glad that I went in. There’s a lot to like about Hello Chef. For starters, Dan & his wife Erika are the friendliest gluten-free/paleo/healthy restauranteurs I’ve ever met. There’s no stereotypical faux hipster attitude that seems to really rear its ugly head when you go to similar establishments throughout the area. Its refreshing to see normal real people who’ve given their all into something they believe in! I’ll take that any day of the week over some judgmental kid giving me crap because I want tap water instead of vita coco or some other bs product they saw on Portlandia or whatever the cool show of the week is.(rant over) On to the food. It’s all gluten free. I believe they’re in the process of getting their kitchen GF certified. I don’t have celiac’s so this doesn’t effect me but it’s a big deal to those w the disease. I wound up stopping in late morning and had a bacon & egg sandwich on a sweet potato bun. The sweetness of the bun, combined with the bacon came together in each bite. Each one, a sweet & savory flavor party! I also wound up trying the beef tacos. They were lettuce bowls that had a flavorful beef and what I believe was a fall slaw or pico on them. Whatever they were, they were damn good. In chatting with the owner, he told me how he got started, as well as all about his meal delivery service & private cooking classes. I grabbed a meal to bring home — texas beef(I think that’s what he called it) — and it was on point! Price wise, their at home meals are very reasonable & convenient. Especially when compared to Blue Apron, which I did for a while… their directions were never as easy as they claim. Anyway, these guys just opened! If your looking for a great meal, stop by Hello Chef. You’ll be happy you did!
