MIX Lounge & Food Bar

The food is amazing! And they have the best martinis around. I’ve been going there since the late 90s and it’s consistently great. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is top notch. Highly recommended!

LOVE the Mix! Chill yet vibrant atmosphere, tasty food (most times), and hands down the best martinis in the area. They also have amazing happy hours which are almost always buzzing. The crowd tends to be older given the drink prices.
Make sure to get the fries with the spicy mayo — so good. This is the kind of place that is flexible and will make you a drink or a dish that isn’t on the menu — I love that!
It’s one of my favorite spots to go to hang out with friends or for a date night drink, however, poor service has turned me from a weekly regular to a 2 – 3 times per year visitor. Some of the staff can be just plain snotty. And this place is LONG overdue for an automated POS system, which is obviously an intentional move. Leaving the servers and bartenders to handwrite checks has left me ripped off and scammed many times — the main reason I don’t frequent this place. But I want to! It’s disappointing to be a loyal customer and to get played though.
However, I will say that recently the service has been getting better and there is a server and bartender who are very nice and attentive. Hopefully small improvements will continue to be made.

Good pizza but the worst service I have ever gotten. I will definitely never come back and I would recommend to try any other place in the area!!!

Stopped by last night for appetizers and couple of beers. Food was pretty good and the place felt like a friendly local hangout. Sat at the bar and watched the bartenders put a lot of care in their drinks. My only suggestion would be to add more tap beers. Could use a more extensive lineup.

They remodeled recently and it looks great. Outside seating in the front for the summer, a back exit nicely done for smokers.

Have had dinner at the Mix a few times.
My wife and I think it is a great place to grab dinner and unwind. The food is excellent and the treatment is perfect .
We would recommend it to all.

The BEST drinks and bar food around! I absolutely love this place and brag to all my friends about it. It’s too bad I don’t live closer, but i’m pretty sure it’s better that I don’t for health reasons. A definite go-​to for date night.

Food was impressive. Went in last night for a quick bite, took a while but loved the casual seating inside. I think the best way to enjoy your meal would be if you were deaf. The classic rock music was loud but not as loud as the bartenders who were shouting to each other and the regulars. It was more than a little off-​putting for a first time visit with my wife and 12 year old daughter. I had the cod wrap, my wife had a pizza and my daughter had the mac and cheese, all three were delicious.

I would like to start by saying that I have been a longtime customer at the Mix and unfortunately the atmosphere has changed. The waitresses have changed, the bartenders have changed, and the prices have gone up! I came in for dinner a few nights ago and the place was completely empty (it used to be packed). The bartender, Brad, was extremely rude and unfriendly. There is absolutely no customer service… they could care less if you come back and if there is a problem with your order… good luck because they will refuse to fix it. I used to enjoy coming to Happy Hour every week at the Mix but will not be coming back! Sadly, Happy Hour at the Mix is no longer happy:(

I have been coming to the Mix on a regular basis once a week with my daughter for the past year, usually ordering the same thing and getting wonderful service & food and always leaving a 20% tip. But tonight was different, I ordered the same salad we always get the «Blondie», but it didn’t taste the same. I did eat some of it until I figured out what the problem was. Instead of mixed greens with lots of nuts, cheese, red onions, pears & tomatoes, it was more of a bowl of tasteless romaine stalks, with me hunting for the nuts, cheese, red onions & tomatoes. I mentioned to the waitress that it didn’t taste right and that my daughter didn’t even touch her half of the salad because it tasted bad. She returned to our table a few minutes later and said that she would have to charge us for the salad, because I had eaten some of it and brought us out a bowl with a ½ size portion of the correct salad. At his point I just told her to bring us a check, because instead of apologizing for their mistake and taking it off our tab, they where trying to make us pay for the portion of the incorrect salad that was eaten. When the waitress returned with the check, we were charged for the entire salad. So, I requested to be charged for only the ½ of the salad that was eaten. Then, the bartender named Brad (who sees us there all the time) came over and told us that he was in charge and that I had eaten some of the salad and that me and my daughter were «no longer welcome there»
Am I missing something here? How rude and unprofessional is that? Don’t worry we won’t be back!

Great ambiance, a small space that was not too crowded, good menu, good food, good drinks. It was perfect for a date night.

The drinks are good, the food is also pretty good. The pizza, hummus and salads is what I would recommend. It’s a good place for strong drinks, which isn’t my thing. I like drinks that taste like they don’t have a lot of alcohol in them. The staff is accommodating.

A little tight. drinks are delicious but expensive. Bouncer/​Security Help a this place take their little job way too serious. its embarrassing. Great as a couples lounge :)

James Smith is an excellent bartender. Have a special cocktail request? Just ask. He can make it. Ever changing Martini menu. Pizzas and salads usually on the happy hour menu. Reduced prices for happy hour on certain martinis, pizza and salad. Friendly service from all. If you go early you may meet the owners Mike and Sam.
