Expect drop off laundry and machines to be dirty and greasy as its establishment owner. do not leave your laundy unatended to avoid theft… be on guard at all times . outdated machines rude staff. –use the machines or drop off at your own risk!!! washing a simple load of dark clothing ruined hundreds of dollars of garments «bleach residue and leftover dye in machines that are not properly serviced«. washing whites is a waste of time hot water is conviently non existent run far away– and stay away from falling debris as the establishment crumbles down from the regentrification of the new long island city.

They told me a price upfront for the wash and fold service, and when I went to pick up, they made me pay more. If you forget to tell your costumer upfront that something is an extra fee, you can’t just charge that on them later. Way to lose customers.

I was very happy that it was $ 29.50 for 36 pounds. I am guessing that is like $ 0.80cents a pound? Math isn’t my strong suit. The only thing I was displeased about was the fact that they were CASHONLY. Other then that my clothes were nicely cleaned. They had next day pick up. It is very good that they are open till 9:30 every night perfect for a person who works late nights. 4 stars only because of the cash thing. Always remember to have cash on you for you debt card only users. I noticed that other people were very dissatisfied with their service. Maybe the owners changed?

This place is absolute crap. I called in the am and they said he could pickup & drop off the same day for $.80/lb. they took 2 hrs to pickup then stopped returning my calls about when they would drop off. Finally he got back to me at 6 pm & said they’d come in 2 hrs. When I asked the total, he was charging me 30% more. I told him we weighed it beforehand & that was incorrect. He then said there was a gas fee and claimed to have never spoken me before to tell me otherwise. Awful! When the clothes came, they were crumpled in bags with holes in them. They did drop off some missing clothes the next day without our asking, but it wasn’t enough to compensate for the poor service :(

The last time I did my own laundry was in 2003, when I was a young university man. Handing my underbusiness to strangers has sometimes lead to uncomfortable moments( ), but our time on this world is short, and I don’t want to spend mine watching a spin cycle. This snobbery has necessitated my becoming a laundry connoisseur. Although I will never become rich and famous with a laundry Michelin guide, I recommend that you try Club Laundromat. Let me recount the reasons I have grown fond of Club Laundromat: — After a quick phone call, friendly guy is usually at my house within 20 minutes, often remembering my address without asking. — In almost all cases, my laundry comes home later that day! — Pickup prices are competitive(I think about $ 0.80/pound) — They do a noticeably great job sorting items. I don’t want to give away all the credit for the Fastest Laundry Putawayer certificate that my girlfriend printed for me, but I must at least concede that I had help. The last time I got a laundry load back, there were some minor bleach stains on the sheets. This was the first issue we had in 25+ loads. I forgot about it. Today, unprompted, the pickup guy said that he heard about the issue and gave us a discount while apologizing profusely. And thus I was forced to finally write a review. So give them a try!

Like the Dos Equis man, Club Laundromat’s core competency is competency. Fifteen minutes after my telephoned request, a very cheerful man, possibly on uppers, arrived to pick up the laundry. He didn’t bother responding to my incredulity. He had promised me same-day drop off, and I suppose he figured the proof would be, as they say, in the pudding. I realize it’s a little dangerous to use pudding aphorisms in a review for laundry services. If it puts you off, I’m sorry. As promised as pudding, he returned about four hours later with my clothes, clean and folded, for the under-market price of $ 0.80/lb.
