I bought my Sportster at one of the 3 Long Island Dealers (1 went belly up), I have tried each of them for parts and service, I found the Staff at each of them to be Arrogant and uninterested in providing a level of service that would lead me to buying another HD in the future, Not so here, I have used them for service and parts four or five times in the past two years, at both LIC and Lower Manhattan, and have always rode away satisfied and feeling good about the level of service provide. The only reason I will be sticking with the HD brand is my experience dealing with HD of NY

After purchasing a brand new Street Glide and having several thousand dollars of accessories added they ended the rewards program and beat me for 400 dollars from the points I accumulated before I could use them. No resolution from management in emails or in person .
I service my wheel now in Suffolk County in Oakdale and have been treated very well plus they have parking Won’t trust this dealership with my wheel ever again.

I read the reviews posted here and I thought I shall never find myself here ever if I can help it. You know how the word never works? I broke down in manhattan and when I couldn’t reach my regular mechanic for a tow and no time to spare to wait around, I pushed my bike to the Harley store on Broadway. It was the closest viable option at this point. They saw me coming half way down the block and someone rushed out and took over pushing it in for me. They offered me coffee and water with sympathetic looks. One of the technicians immediately looked at it and tried to trouble shoot so he could get me back on the road right away-​a guy named Rat. I got to say Rat is a serious professional with excellent bedside manner-​all the people in that store seemed great. I decided to let them send it to the shop in Queens-​the one with all those awful reviews. I braced myself for the worst and just hoped the bike would just be fixed even if my wallet would be torn out of my pocket.
This has a happy ending. Ashley (at HD) called me and gave me a complete run down of my bike. Their recommendations and an order of priority for repairs and all the price options that would accommodate my budget. They had looked over the bike, got it running again, and gave me the option to take the bike home without doing any of the additional work they recommended for the price of one hour of labor.
I had them service the bike and do some of the repairs. The bike is in great shape now and with none of the attitude I thought i would receive. They were actually polite and their shop is shockingly neat. Ed did the work on my bike and it runs great now. And my wallet did not suffer as bad as i thought it would. I rode my bike out today actually and it sounds brand new.
I also stopped in the parts department to browse and Dee who works over there was very helpful. She was giving me moto camping packing tips.
And no… I do not work there and nor am I familiar with anyone who is employed there.

The service as been on point, this is 2^nd time I brought bike in for some minor repairs I showed up at 8am and was serviced asap and ride home in 40 minutes, thanks guys

Amazing experience with super fast service! Thanks to Ashley, Phil and the technicians on a great job! Ashley has an extreme amount of knowledge, is fair, honest and straight forward. Will definitely be doing business again.

I can not imagine the service any worse, because then you can not call it a service. Every time you call to find out when your bike is going to be ready, they have a different lie. At least they can download an app in their computer to keep their lies organized. Today’s lie was; Bike was in shop July 10^th and they are still waiting a WASHER for the nut to connect the shock to the body. People who give Five Star, please tell us your secret.

I dropped in to this place a bunch of times to just to tire kick and everyone was really cool. No pressure to buy. I bought some clothing but then last week I decided to pull the trigger on a Road Glide Special. It’s a big bike and and a big purchase but Gino the sales guy was the best. He knew what he was talking about and never got all salesman on me. He made me feel really confident. I gotta give this store 5 stars. I’m sure you’ll be taking care of like me even if your not ready to buy.

What a disgusting place. In the few times I’ve come here with my husband in the past year the entire staff changes every time. The first 2 or so times were great! Everyone was really great and knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. Now I have to tell THEM how something works. Last time I checked they were supposed to know these things.
This is not a business I will frequent anymore.

Came in looking to buy my first bike, was very pleased with the attention from staff. everyone was very helpful. Not a bad selection on bikes, found what I was looking for at a great price. Very happy with my purchase & definitely will go back soon. a+

I was shopping in here to get some presents for my Dad for Father’s Day, and figured while I was here I should look at maybe a tshirt or hoodie.
The sales associates in the clothes area were really nice, and while I was chatting with the manager (bearded bald guy) told me about his new bike and some parties that they all go to in the city. I was kind of surprised that all of them were just willy-​nilly inviting people to parties but it was a nice change from standard NYC shopping, you know? A red-​headed girl was particularly helpful, and i wish i could remember her name.
The motorcycle sales people treated me very nice. One guy said hello right away and didn’t act like i didn’t belong there, which i appreciate. Even with my parents being riders, I can be a little intimidated by tough looking bikers. I was pleasantly surprised at the whole experience.

I went in on a Sunday morning as soon as they opened to find a mounting piece for a chrome fixture that goes over the side of my battery. The person working the parts department gladly walked outside with me to see what was going on and, from about 30-​feet away, knew immediately what I needed and explained to me the background on the piece (why it wasn’t fitting properly) and how I could fix it. After a quick search to check his inventory, he got me the piece I needed, explained how to mount it, and I was off on my way. I got exactly what I needed in no time at all. Definitely will be back.

Horrible customer service. Spent over an hour there and nobody wanted to help me, gave me attitude when I asked questions, and worst of all I left not really having the answers to my questions. I have been looking to put some money into upgrading some things on my ’07 Sporty. That money certainly won’t be spent at this location.

As anybody that owns a Harley knows, after the initial expense of the bike you will then spend thousands more in parts very shortly after getting the bike. This Harley dealer just lost all of that business from me. I bought a battery tender accessory port (a $ 40 part) 3 days ago and decided I didn’t really need that part, unopened by the way, and they refused to take it back today. Essentially over a $ 40 accessory part they lost at least $ 1500−2k in parts sales in the next 2 months. I’ve had much better experiences at other Harley dealers in the past and I will gladly take my business down the road. Horrible experience here (it was the management not the parts staff)!

After reading some of the reviews, I thought there needed to be a rebuttal. I cannot say much for parts and service as our bikes are in TN. I can speak for customer service, however. I have been in the store now several times. The second time I went, I emailed for hints on options for getting there. I received TWO responses that were awesome. Coming from the south, we do not tend to have much in the way of mass transit. Through their help, I can now navigate the subway to get there from several points in Manhattan. I basically do not come to the city now without a pilgrimage to their store. They are awesome!

what a horrible place !! The place is owned by a NON BIKER business man who knows nothing about motorcycles and apparently is in it only for the money. The dollar rules any decisions here. NOT biker friendly at all. Horrible return policy on parts … which might as well be «you bought it, you own it, so do not try to ask for a return or refund». Also the only Harley dealer left in the tristate area that asks OVER the sticker on New Harleys. This place should have been out of business years ago… just like Lighthouse Harley in Huntington Long Island that went out of business due to poor atitude and treating bikers like dummies.

Never had biked worked on there.
Good selection of stuff for bikes here but midtown Manhattan has a better selection of riding gear.
Problem with this place is no one asks you if they can help you, i.e. not very friendly. If you buy something, don’t expect a thank you either.
Staff needs some leadership and someone to tell them what customer service is but I’ll still go back, just never expect it to be pleasant.

Bought a pair of «chrome» grips. The «chrome» paint chipped just from handling it. Tried to return it and they would only give me store credit. Not to mention gruff attitude. Sales person did not hide the fact that they did not want to be behind the desk. Really? I’m there for parts, leave the attitude at home.
Service guys are nice enough, but good lord what a hot mess. SO unorganized it’s almost comical. almost. Talked to two different people 3 times about correcting the work order… never done. in the end i was given a receipt that not even the cashier could understand.
The only saving grace to this place is the mechanics. They did a great job. That’s the only reason this review is not getting one star.

Came here for a HD Boot camp to learn more about the brand and dealership.
Judging from the event, you should get good service from them and a new family of like minded riders.
The staff seemed pretty helpful and the demonstrated their fit kit to show how different accessories would make the bike fit you. Given the price premium, I would expect this service.

This place is terrible for custormer service, i ride and now my cousin is getting into it he likes harley and was going there to actually purchase a bike … After about 35 mins in the store not one single person asked us if we needed help, we left to go to bellmore harley which took awhile to come over too but at least helped us… Harley needs to realize customer service means alot and for sure northern blvd lost a sale
