Great place to get a haircut! This is a place where you never feel like an outcast. Great vibe and great people… I was giving up on most barber shops in NYC, until this place opened up. Ever since then, I’ve been satisfied with all of the haircuts I got from here. I highly recommend getting a haircut from this barber shop!

The best straight razor shave in Astoria. Luis prides himself in giving his clients the best professional shave and cut possible. A craftsman who pays strict attention to detail and caters towards his clients needs. He will take his time and will not rush the process. The décor is top notch and reminiscent of the old school shaving parlors. Stop on by and make a reservation with Luis. You will not be disappointed.

I have to recommend LIC Tonsorial crew for their amazing professionalism and laid back style, which were in perfect harmony every moment I was there. I had been in a rush and was coming near the end of their day but Geraldo and Luis were very welcoming. Geraldo took his time and gave me a great cut. I never have a strict stance with my haircuts, but I appreciate his attention to detail. I usually have a scratch or two after a straight razor shave but I was spotless after this experience. I highly recommend them and say that if you are worried that they might not be open, give them a call since they seem to excel in accommodating their customers.

I happened to walk by this shop a few months ago, and was taken by the name «Tonsorial». It is absolutely offers the high-end shaving parlor quality you would expect from the name, with all the comforts of going over to a friends home, for said service.
Luis is a master barber with many years of experience. If he isn’t available for a walk in, then you can be guaranteed Geraldo can set you up with an incredible result as well, if he’s available.
I cannot rave enough about this place, and feel very fortunate that it is 3 blocks from my home.
They accommodate walk-ins, but if your time is limited definitely call ahead and set up an appointment. treat yourself to a hot towel shave.
prices are incredibly reasonable, for the quality and service.
I’m a client for life.
