Overpriced rubbish. Their paninis are not fresh. They taste like they’ve been sitting on display for days. Gross!

I’ve been here a few times to order food. Most of the staff are pretty friendly, however this place is beyond dirty. There grill tops is so dirty that there is layers of oil that’s frozen on it & to make matters worse I went in to order a slice of pizza today and some old guy was cutting up a big pizza big into slices and was bringing it to the counter top. He then dropped a slice of pizza and he picks up the Slice pizza and puts it right back where the pizza was missing it’s slice. Not knowing that I’m standing a ft away from him and I’m looking straight at him. I will think twice before ordering from here and there pretty pricey !!

This is my third time going here and let me tell you, it’s not really worth going here. I usually order gyro with curly fries and it’s pretty good meal. But one time they mixed my orders and give me the wrong food. :/The only things I don’t like about this café is that they’re very slow, it’s confusing where to order, there are some rude staff which I encounter when I’m with my friends due to an order and it’s expensive. It’s pretty nice that they have a student discount and they have a large open space to eat and clear large windows. But overall, they’re okay.

I am confused, maybe its because its the hottest day in nyc and the café is loosing some rational business sense due to the heat. I will start by saying i do like the pastas… all said for that. just ordered a Large Chicken Ceasar salad and i received the Large Invisible Chicken caesar salad. Why charge for something when you are only giving the ESSENCE of chicken. I had to rearrange the 2 inch by 2 inch piece of meat in order make sure it was chicken. Two chicken mc nuggets is more that what they will give you. Learned my lesson WENDYS next time for a salad. At least they give you chicken and cheaper…

The place has a serious sanitation issue. Not only around the seating areas, but the work stations too. I found cockroach poop and eggs in my salad. Don’t ever come here, or be served a hidden cockroach head in your lunch… Beware…

The place is overall pretty rundown. I use to order from here for salad and pizza, not the best, but not the worst. Unfortunately the people who work there are extremely rude, and don’t know how to handle customers over the phone. The owner should be ashamed of the people he’s hired over the recent years.

It wasnt HORRIBLE, but it def was not a good experience. Here is a breakdown of how everything happened… 1. Stomach started a rumbling… 2. I placed an order on grubhub for a Shrimp Burrito. 3. Receive a call that there is no shrimp…(um… ok) 4. Get A call from Seattle Café that the delivery boy got lost(I guess I can understand that??) 5. The delivery boy finally finds my office and snaps at me because the slip of paper that he got(hand written, not from grubhub) doesn’t have my number on it… to which I replay… thats not my fault… 6. I finally go to eat my food and its meh… its not BAD Ive def had worse from other places but for all that… Ugh… what ever I guess… at least im full now…

I always bump up my star ratings when I feel my concerns about a place are taken seriously. Considering the owner was kind enough to hear me out and was genuinely concerned about my experience I feel it only fair to give Seattle Café a 3 star rating a long with some time to get their game up for the next time I stop in. I dont like giving out bad ratings… I much rather give out complementary ones. So lets see how they fair after giving them some time. =)

It’s an OK spot to have a morning bagel with cream cheese. They’re a little skimpy with the napkins and don’t have a napkin dispenser anywhere on the counter. Weird… Also, they put the milk and sugar in your coffee for you… So that means, no sugar packets or milk on the counter for you either. I love the wide open space and seating area, especially with the large windows. During the winter, the heaters are pumped out at max, so even if it’s 5 °F out, you’ll be nice and toasty. Bathroom needs some major upgrading. It’s dark inside the 2 stalls. The sinks take a while for the hot water to run and it takes forever to dry your frozen washed hands with the dryer. lol Overall, it was just okay. I wouldn’t rave about it. If I was in need of that quick bagel on the way to work, then sure I guess.

I signed up this morning just to write this review. Do NOT under any circumstances eat here! This morning I saw a gentleman behind the counter blow his nose into a tissue. Immediately, my spidey senses began to tingle and I zoned in on him to see what the next steps would be. Instead of washing his hands, he threw out the tissue and proceeded to handle, with his bare hands(!!!), some sliced tomato, It was hard to prevent myself from gagging. I have never ever seen such blatant disrespect for hygiene. It is truly despicable. Eat here at your own risk. FYI– It is not worth the risk for barely average overpriced food.

I used to frequent this place because I went to school in the area but one day I ordered a salad and I went to open it and there was a live bug crawling in the UNOPENED container of salad!!! I threw it right out I was disgusted! I have never been back to this place and never will. The bug had to have come from them because I did not open the container until I was going to attempt to eat some. The food is horrible. please spare yourself the misery and save your money and go somewhere that is fresh!

I came in looking for a place to eat, ended up ordering the roast beef sandwich, it was ok. Almost no roast beef, made me not wanna come back. Mind you, I paid about 9 bucks for that, and a small soda. Will keep exploring around the area, not on top of my list. I only gave it 2 stars, because of all the variety on the menu.

Decided to go here because I was hungry and this was the first breakfast serving restaurant I noticed around my proximity. It wasn’t so much that this place is overpriced, but the food is utter crap. They also mixed up my order with someone else’s order. Then mixed up my friend’s order twice. Neither of us enjoyed the food here. My friend ordered some wrap that came with chips; they didn’t give him chips till he pointed it out. I ordered the western omelet, it was 2⁄10. Potatoes that came with it were nasty as well. Best part of my breakfast was the toast.

Due to the lack of restaurants in this area, I order from Seattle Café on a regular basis. I ordered my usual salad with pesto chicken, romaine lettuce, cranberries, diced tomatoes, and sunflower seeds. The salad comes with bread which is usually quite good. Today, the salad was not fresh. The pesto chicken was rancid and the bread was kind of dry. I called to let them know and I was transferred to a Jerry(who refused to give me a last name). Jerry was beyond nasty. He informed me that they make the chicken everyday and there is no way the chicken was not fresh. Well Jerry, the chicken was not fresh and I was not looking for a refund, I wanted to let him know that the batch of rancid chicken was placed in my order. Jerry hung up several times. I continued to call until I got a decent human being on the phone. I informed the person that I would never order from them again or approve our office to order from them again as well. Yes we have a decent budget and we order food on a regular basis. In addition, I will be Unilocaling and Tweeting about their nasty attitude and rancid food.

Ugh, there are no good restaurants on this stretch of Queens Blvd., so I eat at Seattle way too often, considering how crappy it is. The people working there are always pretty nice and friendly, and there is only a $ 3 minimum to use credit card, so that’s good. I usually get a burrito or pizza here as a Friday indulgence. Their guacamole is positively weird-looking and brown. The pizza slices are pretty big, but completely average in quality. Another complaint is that there is not a good«line» system, so you have to fight to order. Sometimes it takes me 10 minutes just to place an order and get my food, which is annoying during for a lunch break. It is nice though sitting and watching the traffic go by on Queens Blvd. through the big windows. The worst part about Seattle though is the clientele. It’s right next door to a community college, so there are all these bratty, obnoxious, aggressive, entitled 19-year-old kids coming here for lunch. They are rude, pushy, and constantly make disparaging comments to the staff. It’s despicable.

I finally mustered up the courage to try lunch here on a rainy afternoon before heading to the YMCA across the street. The results were quite saddening. While there are some good deals on food– 12oz soup and half sandwich for 6.95, the quality of food is majorly sub-standard. The lentil soup is a large enough portion but almost no lentils in an otherwise excessively brothy soup. Management has obviously given little thought to the appearance. I can see how this would be ideal for students near La Guardia College, but the rowdy culture here is distracting and depressing. It’s more like the seediest of DMVs.

Nothing amazing, but consistantly decent salads. No flies assaulting the ingredients at my visits, either. Service is friendly – a rare commodity in NYC. The dinner special – two slices of cheese pizza with a drink for 3.99 is okay pizza at a good price. Much better than noshing from the vending machines on campus.

I dont understand how they get away with this! this place is beyond disgusting and filthy. the«burgers» are pre cooked and heated up on the flat top when you order them so you get a worst then mcdonalds burger for 7 bucks, the fries too are completely fried already then when you order them they just go in for a quick swim in dirty oil. I wish there was a better place to eat in the neighborhood than this dump. And im honestly surprised the health department hasn’t raided them yet.

It’s true that Seattle Café has nothing to do with Seattle. However, it fills a void in the LaGuardia College area of LIC that no other place does. They have all kinds of lunch stuff– salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, etc. I almost always get the«build your own salad.» The grilled chicken they use has a real grill flavor, and their veggies are always fresh and crunchy. Their balsamic vinaigrette is deliciously tangy, and the flatbread they give you with it tastes very buttery and delicious. I was tempted to give this place 4 stars, but then I realized I was only doing it because Seattle Café has no competition in this neighborhood. There is almost nowhere to go to get healthy food with fresh ingredients, and they also deliver… very convenient for someone who works in the area.

Being in such close proximity to La Guardia Community College means that there’s quite a crowd of students should you visit this locale during prime times. On the upside of that, if you are a student they offer you a discount. Being from out West I was assuming by the name it would pay some sort of homage to the Emerald City. However short of the logo, the food itself is pretty standard fare. Various burgers, sandwiches, tex mex, and finger foods are offered here making it much like a typical New York diner. Pricing is decent for the food you get and it certainly does the job in satisfying a hungry appetite.
