The options are unique and fresh, which is great for our little corner of town. The owner is down to earth and even asks for suggestions for products you’d like to see. I love his interest to experiment with the store and that he always remembers you. Going there and chatting with him always makes me appreciate the little things in life little bit more. It’s the ideal local store.

I love this place. I’m not sure what to say about it but Unilocal wants me to write more. I usually get fruit there, sometimes cheese. They also have a lot of pasta, olive oil, and chocolate things. I don’t know what else to say, it’s just a great little place.

This block needed a market like this! Service is very kind, great selection of European chocolate, pasta sauces, and an interesting selection of breads. I hope this market makes it!

Do yourself a favor and shop here. You’d be doing a favor for your Astoria neighbors too, because I don’t want to see this place go away. The folks who run this shop really nice and helpful. The interior is clean clean clean, with a warm and crisp setup. You know how 20 years ago, it became so fashionable for TV foodies to say«We eat first with our eyes.» Well, this market is very easy on the eyes and appealing. I’d eat anything from here, just because of the interesting and inviting layout. I feel like a fancy old money snob from the UES when i shop here, except THESE prices are fantastic. And the produce is fresh. Last week, I had just bought limes at a different establishment — three for a dollar. The limes at the other place were grubby and unappealing. When i stopped by Two Guys, the limes were five for a dollar, and they were bright green. They weren’t just limes. they were EFFINNGLIMES, MAN! So i bought the great limes too. And of course, they turned out to be juicy and perfect. I worry about Two Guys. There’s not exactly a lot of foot traffic here. I want this grocery to succeed, so i don’t have to pay a dollar for three grubby limes and grumpy cashiers.
