This store is awful! The pharmacy is ridiculous! I tried to transfer my perscription from Duane Reade and it was a problem. The staff is also awful. Then tonight The website and store both say that they’re open tonight until midnight! Then when I went to the store the guy wouldn’t let me in! It’s only ten! When I tried calling they put me on hold. If they’re closed it should say so on the website. And the idiot that answered the phone told me I’m misreading it! How am I misreading it exactly! They’re rude and have disgusting customer service in this store. Good thing rite aid is the same distance!

Horrendous. The only reason it gets one star is because of its convenient location. The managerial staff here is possibly the most horrendous part of it all. Lazy, rude, and very uninformed about their own store. A couple of the clerks do have a positive attitude and are willing to help you. However they are outnumbered by their many coworkers who perform with an incredible lack of energy and care. If you want to walk into the saddest Walgreens EVER, then come here. Also, the selection is minimal at best. Just visit the Duane Reade down the road and you’ll see what a drugstore is supposed to look, feel and be like. P. s. Check the expiration dates on EVERYTHING here, because they definitely do not.

I’ve been to this Walgreens for a couple of years now and it’s definitely seen improvement. It’s much cleaner and organized than it was a few years back. They’ve also have new competent employees and managers it seems. It’s gotten an upgrade indeed. The service is always great and they have lots of good deals every week. It’s convenient and it’s pretty ignorant to judge a store just by location and customers. The store does just fine and deals well with ALL sorts of customers. A store can’t control who comes in but they can manage customer satisfaction, which is what counts.

This is based on the Photo Lab although the other employees were very helpful and nice. This is by far the best Photo Lab I have ever been to. The employee that helped us was Danny. He made sure my prints came out as perfect as they could get and when i had an issue with one of the prints that I ordered from (they cropped the entire bottom half of my photos) he told me that if i redid it online and made sure to check the crop he would give me the prints for free when i picked them up. Definitely going back to this place for all of my Photo needs!

This is solely based on my experience with the photo lab. This is by far the worst Walgreens I’ve ever been to. The terrible service of the photo lab is totally inexcusable. I’ve been here three times previously when I had to wait at least 5 minutes for them to print my online order, and all three times I had been there for pick up were at least a half hour after the website said my order would be ready for pick up. And as I sit on a chair right next to the photo lab, I am having my fourth bad experience… So I have nothing left to do but write a bad review to waste my time waiting and vent. I got email confirmation from Walgreens saying my order would be ready for pickup an hour and fifty minutes ago. I show up and the first associate can’t find my picture so he calls another over for help. I stand waiting at the photo checkout for 8 minutes before he tells me it will be 20 minutes until my ONE photo is printed. He asks if I want to wait or come back. Well sir, considering I have broken toes, am clearly wearing one hospital shoe and walked 8 blocks from home to get here, if I’m leaving, I’m sure as hell not coming back. So here I sit and wait in the photo lab for my ONE photo that should have been printed almost two hours ago. I’m pretty pissed and I’m going to make sure the associate knows it before I leave. And I’ll make sure that I never come back to this Walgreens ever again. Good riddance! UPDATE: after waiting the 20 minutes I was told it would take to print the picture I asked how much longer it would take and the manager told me «about 10 minutes». I told him to forget it and stormed out. No apology or anything. This Walgreens is the scum of all Walgreens. What a total joke and waste of an hour.

In the past year this place has improved, they have hired some competent people although a lot of the incompetent ones are still around. Expect a long & slow line but at least a friendly person at the end of it.

Considering its location, you have to cut it some slack… but there still are a few things that could be improved upon… mainly the staff.

I live a block away and often forget that Walgreens is here. That’s largely because this location is useless. This location is much smaller than other locations and with only a few rows of shelves they have an entire makeup isle? Everytime I come in here they never seem to have what I want and the prices are usually more expensive than the other drug stores in the area. Too often I walk in to this location unable to find what I want and leave disappointed. Sucks because they are the closest drugstore to mi casa.

The only reason I enter this Walgreens is because it sometimes carries items that I can’t get at the neighborhood pharmacy or the 99 cents store across the street. They just renovated this place but it’s still cluttered and messy. The staff is not very helpful. Oh… And if u do happen to go there expect to wait forever on the line… The cashiers are slow and there is usually only one open. :(

This Walgreen’s is definitely shabby, and not necessarily in the best way. The shelves are poorly stocked, almost disheveled, and the layout of where things are changes too often. That said, the staff here are great. I’ve only ever dealt with the pharmacy technician and the front-of-store cashiers, but I’m always pleased with their level of service. I bought D&G perfume here, because it was cheaper than it was selling for at Sephora, and the cashier was nice enough to give me her employee discount, when I told her that my father is a Walgreen’s pharmacist back in Michigan. I ended up saving close to $ 25 on my entire purchase that day because of her generosity.

I used to forget that there was a Walgreens near my old place in Astoria. It was in a crappy neighborhood and they still had a sign that says Open 24 hrs, but they closed at 10. The only time I go there is to develop pictures. Nothing is really stocked there and it seems like it never gets restocked. Id rather get on the train and head to the city if I wanted to go to a Walgreens.

This Walgreen’s sucks. I don’t know why a lot of Queens branches of chains have to be dirtier than their Manhattan counterparts. Maybe they don’t expect Queens folks to expect as much. This location is dirty, cluttered and the employees don’t seem to care that much. I guess that’s what I should expect since it’s just down the street from the projects. Speaking of the projects, you’ll definitely see some interesting characters at this Walgreens because of its close proximity to our fine public housing system. I went here to get stuff because I got a bum knee from playing football — I didn’t want to walk further than I had to. This was a few blocks closer to my home than the Duane Reade on Broadway or the Rite-Aid on 30th Ave. When I’m able to walk properly again, I’ll walk the extra few blocks to Duane Reade or Rite Aid.

Ugh. I hate that this is my local drugstore. Barren shelves, no selection, incompetent staff, people eating their dinner at the photo lab counter. They don’t even have the deodorant I use. I have to find it in the city. It’s not some fancy stuff either… just Secret. The extra star is only because of the pharmacy. They’re a bit more able and friendly. If for some reason you want to check it out for yourself, look for the sign that says«reens.» The«Walg» has been gone for sometime now, but don’t let that confuse you.
